I can remember walking into Piggly Wiggly as a kid and there was great service,they bagged your groceries and took them to your car.Its hard to find good service anywhere anymore.Now when I go shopping I don't expect a smile or great service.Yet,I hate seeing when the older people have to do their own bagging and delivering.Theyve done there thing so they should be able to enjoy perks from their years of service to our community.

The manager at this store goes out of his way for his customers. I drove down from East TN(2.5 hours one way) for Diet Grapico that is usually available in this area. But the last time I went I couldn't find any. I talked to the manager here and he ordered several cases and held them for me. I'll remember that next time I need some and need to drive down there.

We love piggly wiggly chicken from the deli, however the past few weeks I have called to order in advance, well the lady refused to take my order and told me she would make sure they had it at the deli, drove 1 hour away and of course they didn’t have it, and refused to cook it 3 hours before the deli even closed. Called today and it’s 4pm and aI politely asked for some fried chicken, and she said I’ve already turned my fryers off so no. 3 hours before they close. They need to change their hours if they don’t wanna cook after lunch.

Clean store. Friendly helpers. Some prices are better than Wal-Mart. Food is just as good as anyplace else. They also have a place for money orders for those interested.

A quick place to stop in and shop at. Rather buy meat here than Walmart. But wouldn't buy fruits or vegetables from here. The people is always nice when you check out too.

It's the kind of grocery store that you can tell it's old, outdated and either willful negligence or outright refusal to come into the modern world despite it being in one of the most key locations in all of Scottsboro. This really is a sad sight to see.The entire store looks rundown inside and the lighting only compounds the issues at play.The biggest advice I can give to this small town grocery store is to sell the location or do an entire remodel to bring it into the limelight.

To be honest there is a front end afternoon Manager that is very rude to her staff and customers.I would do nothing but rather see this girl or say this woman to be fired. She calls her coworkers by the name of wrenches And she flirts with every male customer And I even saw her flirting with male staff that even work there. How does this woman Keep her job and hold her head up when she does all these bad deeds???? karma. On the other hand I do like Amy and Chris. They are the best management I have ever seen Work together the best. Without amy or Chris Piggly wiggly would not exist.

Piggly Wiggly has a great selection of grocery store items. The store is always clean and well organized. The lines are fast. It is a place easy to get in and out of quickly. The store and customer service has a small town feel. The deli has a good southern food selection also. The dressing with 2 veggies is my favorite meal option from the deli.

I always go to Piggly Wiggly to get produce as they have a lot better/fresher produce, along with cheese and meat selection, compared to Big Chain Corporations, like Walmart, Kroger, Etc. The employees are very helpful, and if you ask any of them where something is, they can tell you right off the bat! They don't even have to call for help to find out. This is also a great place to get eggs as they are not as high as they are at walmart, Kroger, the Dollar General store, or any other store chains. Everything at Piggly Wiggly is not always the cheapest, I highly recommend getting what is on sale because those items will be cheaper than if you go to a different store like the ones I mentioned. I love their Deli! They will cut your cold cut meats and fresh cheese right in front if you, as thin or thick as you want it! I wish we had more Piggly Wiggly stores. The only things tgat are ALOT more money than say Wal-Mart, Dollar General, or Kroger grocery stores, are things like steak sauce, and name brand mayonnaise, unless of course, it is on sale! They do have a better selection of soft drinks, and sparkling or carbonated water, than other grocery stores. I found Piggly Wiggly to be cheaper than Save-A-Lot. Highly recommend this store, especially tis location, and the one in Tracy City and Sewanee or Monteagle are wonderful too! Great place to get birthday cakes as well!

Produce not fresh. Brown lettuce is a regular commodity. However, the employees are especially friendly and helpful. Wear a jacket - - they keep it as cold as a morgue in there. That's great if you've turned into a corpse, but I'm only halfway there. LOL

Pleasant small town feel when you walk in, nice produce and meat departments, store is usually clean and quiet. Employees are attentive and pollite. Sometimes they run out of sale items quickly, too quickly in my opinion, perhaps more attention to the ordering of those sales items would prove beneficial to management and customers. MEANING NO DISRESPECT TO MANAGEMENT, JUST MY OPINION.

Pay attention to the reviews. Most are about the deli. The deli in this store turns out some amazing dishes which is the highlight of the store. The store itself is very run down and old. It feels quite dirty. Someone noted that the store is not overcrowded. This is true because no one shops here to be honest... The people are friendly. Food quality is average. Prices are average. If you truly hate Walmart then this place is an alternative. Foodland down the road is overall better store though.

Friendly customer service. Love the meat special 5 for $20. I can stock up for the month with a wide variety of items. If something needs cutting their meat dept will do it. Best cakes for birthdays and hot lunch plates in the deli.

The store itself is fine, but cashier and employees need training on customer service. My cashier didn't greet me or thank me. She did however keep her conversation with her friend going strong.

This grocery store is by far my favorite one to go to. Along with it's easy in and out set up, it is a very clean and well organized store. If you need to find something in particular , it's not like you are embarking on a scavenger hunt. If by chance you do need help, there are always the younger kids who they have staffed there that are willing to help you. They are very friendly and well mannered for high school kids. It's just overall a pleasant experience when I go there for a not so pleasant thing that I always dread doing!!! Oh and I almost left the most important thing out. The chicken from their deli is some of the best you can find in this town, with a price that you can't beat anywhere.

They have a deli with hot food. It is a small grocery store with a deli serving cakes cup cakes hot plates vegetable plates great produce for a small store the associates are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet small enough to appreciate big enough to accommodate. I highly recommend this store to anyone.
