The one on broad street is awful!! Cashier was very rude. Internet was down could not take a card tried to pay with cash and could not take $100 bills. How do you expect customers to pay? Ridiculous. Just close down you are useless!!

Cashier very unhappy person been several times and I gave her the excuse maybe she is having a bad day.. apparently she has a bad day everyday not everyone should work in customer service I know I worked customer service for years, it's hard but no excuse to be rude to someone who is being nothing but nice to you..

I've been going here for a while, and this review is probably over due. The people there from Alleta, jordan, Amy and Darlene. And most recently a nice young lady by the name of Hailey. They're always working and moving about super hard and fast. Seem to be possibly under staffed but still manage to meet folks with a smile, and help every customer. DG is the closest store to my house, and having this lineup of staff makes me happy I can have familiar faces and knowledge carrying people help me out. Hailey was super friendly and helpful this past Wednesday and such a sweat person. This store is great, I'm thankful!

This dollar general is clean and well organized. It is convenient to grab many of the daily essentials including beverages, food items, home decor, cleaning products, and much more. My only complaint is the the line can be slow. The self check outs do help speed this process up.

Broad Street location is horrendous! Aisles are jammed with unstocked items, cashiers are rude, and the self serve/pos machines rarely work. You spend 30 minutes shopping just to walk out without your items because "the internet is down" and there's no apology for the inconvenience just more rude looks and attitude.

Older store in desperate need of a renovation. Shelves were well stocked but register had a little line due to several folks with rather full carts of grocery items. The staff member manning the register was nice and friendly.

Terrible customer service at this location! I considered applying for an upper management position, but before I do so... please someone audit this store and hire valuable employees. Pay the store manager's a decent wage and I know that they will do a better job. Customers do not enjoy extended waiting to check out, or to find an associate for assistance. I was rushed out so fast by the dark headed, tall, goofy guy that wears glasses and his shift leader. . That he upset my one year old baby!!! I ended up leaving with 2-3 items that did not get scanned because he didn't!bag an of my merchandise, and told me that they are closing soon and I would have to leave.. he lied to me about having adult oragel and said, "this is all we have" (it was infant aragel) so I said, "NO and let me go look".. I found the regular kind and he was not happy" that entire shopping trip was absolutely terrible!

Called to simply order 5 balloons... Woman on phone sounded annoyed to even pick up the phone! She sounded out of breath as well... UGH the horror— SHE HAD TO DO SOMETHING! Like... HER JOB!! When I requested five balloons, she sounded like she was about to fall over in annoyance and gave me such a horrible attitude. Do your job- isn’t that what you get paid to do? #CustomerService

Employees are nice, store is well stocked...prices are good, love everything about it BUT ONE THING...NEED TWO CAHIERS WHEN LINE GETS LONG....TWO REGISTERS THAT CAN TAKE CREDIT CARDS...THE WAITING LINE IS RIDICULOUS

Update:Guaranteed sales increase: Stock the store. If it's not there it can't be sold.Problem stocking many items I need. I have to go to WM for so many items I just as soon shop there than have to shop 2 places.

This Dollar general is the worst store . My family has been shopping there for about 3 years . Not any more . Constant problems with the credit/ debit card machine , never enough employees to handle the amount of customers . They can't keep employees , cause they all end up quiting , especially the ones that are good with the register . Some employees complain to the customers about how busy they are and that they can't even take there breaks . I blame piss pore management . I won't be shopping there any more .

Reasonable prices. What you expect from a Dollar General store. It is sometimes difficult to navigate because of product in the aisles. Staff is friendly.
