I would highly recommend this store. The customer service throughout the process was excellent! I was very anxious about having my eyes checked and had put off the appointment until absolutely necessary. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. From the time I walked in, my expectations were exceeded! The staff had a warmth and kindness that made me feel immediately welcome. The doctor further made me feel comfortable as he explained in detail the exam process and my results. While I thought selecting my glasses would be a challenge, it was actually the easiest and best part. The lady who assisted me took her time and worked with me as I tried on several pair. I left satisfied and feeling like I had made a few new friends.

I have used Eyeworld Vision Center in Saraland for at least 7 years now. There staff is always professional, patient, and polite. Recently my 10 year old daughter got fitted for contacts for the first time. The eye doctor was so helpful and made the experience very pleasant. One of the staff members actually stayed a little after closing because it took her longer than her appointment time to master the technique of learning how to put her contacts in and take them out. Everyone was so sweet and taught her all the tips and tricks to getting her contacts in and out easy. They also have very affordable pricing for eye appointments, glasses, and contacts. We love Eyeworld in Saraland! :)

I was in the store last week. The Dr and staff were very helpful and patient with my son as it was his first time using contact lenses. They provided samples of the lenses so he could decide what was most comfortable for him. Thanks again Eyeworld, we will be back!

Very dissatisfied! My understanding was that I was going get glasses with no lines, instead I got bifocals in the lower corner of the glasses and they are so small that I have to hold my head back so I can see.So aggravating. The first return visit I made I was told that the glasses were too low on my nose. The second visit I was told that they could raise the bifocals up if I had said something. Who knew!That Would have cost me a extra 50 bucks.. My insurance got cheated and I have glasses that is no good to me..I wouldn’t recommend a blind person to go here. Can you see how small the bifocals are? If I had a good pair of glasses maybe I could see too. I got a second opinion on the glasses and they agreed with me.

My 8year old loves her New glasses. The ladies made her feel beautiful when her glasses came in. (Kids can be so mean and she needed those extra compliments) She lost her 1st pair over the summer and Eyeworld replaced them no problem and she didn't even need another exam because it was still within the year.

If you’re looking for a place to get your glasses, Eyeworld is the way to go. They’re all very knowledgeable, courteous, and strive to make sure that they give you the best experience possible. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! They definitely work their hardest to make sure everyone receives their glasses in a timely manner after your visit and strive to keep their customer satisfaction to a T! 😊

My appointment was at 11am. I arrived 15 minutes early and filled out my paperwork. I sat there until 12 watching them take other people in the back to see the doctor, that had appointments later than mine. I confronted the employee at the admissions window. She offered no explanation or an apology. I left and will never go there again. They are unprofessional and overbooked. I counted 8 employees that saw me sitting and waiting. Not one asked me if I had seen the Dr or if they could assist me. Most of them were just sitting at a desk doing akeabsolutely nothing. I wouldn't take my dog there. The place is a disgrace.Update : I was contacted by the office manager in regards to the review I wrote. She tried to tell me that my appointment was actually at 11:30 and my husband's appointment was at 11:45. This is absolutely not true. She was only trying to make it look like we didn't wait long and we were all together wrong. She probably wanted me to take down my review but that is not going to happen. No one asked us if we had been seen. We were the last two people in the waiting room and the employee at the front desk acted like she couldn't believe we hadn't been seen.. They didn't apologize yesterday and the office manager didn't apologize when she called today. All she did was make up lies and excuses. Like I said this place is unprofessional and overbooked. Pathetic

I brought my son in for am eye exam, the staff was amazing and went out of their way to make him feel comfortable. They was fast getting us in and out, the ladies up front did an amazing job helping him pick out his glasses.. highly recommend them..

If you didn't go to EYE WORLD try them out next time? Highly recommend!!!!! Never been treated better, got my glasses back quick, Dr was super nice, & truthful at the same time about my eye condition.The assistance greeted me as i walked in,, and treated me as if I were the only customer in the store when it was my turn. I noticed they give EVERYONE that same respect and treatment. Thats why I never have a problem waiting my turn because I have their FULL ATTENTION when it's my turn.Whoever did the training, Genius!!!!!I very comfortable there, and have no plans of changing vision centers ever!Thanks Eye World!!!!😁💗

I was trying to get a small frame or a youth frame few days ago, I took longer time than others to select the frame. Since my eye sight is really bad, it costs around $500 for a pair of lens, so I really care about the style of the frame because it would use for at least three years. Customer service came and recommanded a few for me, but I didn't like those frames, so I gave it back to the customer service, and said thank you, and kept looking for the frame. She looks unhappy, and asked for my name so she can search my name in the system. She realized that I am the first time be there. She asked me to fill a form first (with my personal information), and then select the frame. Her attitude and the way she told made me uncomfortable, so I said thank you and left. Hope they could be more friendly to their customer in the future.

Awesome customer service - I was out of town when my daughter broke her glasses and I was able to order a replacement pair (including Eyeworld helping get the new prescription processed) with never stepping in the door which was a huge win for this working mama. Love a good small town business - their attention to detail and their customers didn't go unnoticed...Eyeworld will continue to have all my business.

She was very knowledgeable about the brands, lenses, and the anti blue light I needed for work. She listened to what I was looking for and I couldn't have been happier with with the glasses selected. Purchased a pair of glasses and after requesting and paying extra that the lens be thinner. The frame never allowed the arms to close. The glasses broke within a 5 week period they replaced them but within another month the arm broke again and they didn't warranty them. If I'd would have known that their warranty wasn't but for 30,or 60 day warranty I would have chosen somewhere else to get my glasses. I'm on a fixed income and my insurance only pays for one pair every 2 years. And anyone that lives on a fixed income understands that it's very important to get a bang for your buck. Differently won't be getting my new ones there

Courtney Landry was so super helpful. I got prescription sunglasses as well as new glasses. My eyesight is horrible and I needed progressive lenses. She was so patient as I picked out the perfect pair of glasses and they were ready super quick. I can finally see again and I feel pretty. Thank you Miss. I always have a hard time finding glasses that suit my smaller face frame but Allison was so helpful and knowledgeable about lens designs and took the time to help me find the perfect pair of glasses that fit me just right and that I actually love!! The optometrist was great. The glasses and the opticians not so much.New to the area and my husband, who grew up here, recommended this place. He purchased glasses here years ago and they are still in pretty good condition. Apparently, the service is not like it use to be. Our two children and I really needed exams and glasses badly. The exam experience was great.After the exam, we looked around aimlessly searching for glasses that we liked and that fit our faces. In my experience at other shops I've visited in the past, the opticians help you find glasses that fit your face shape. My 12 year old son insisted on a certain pair of adult frames that were slightly too big. They didn't have a youth option in those frames- or so we were hastily told- so he stuck with the adult size because he liked them a lot. After 30 mins or so, we had all picked out frames and were measured, I think. We were told the glasses would be ready in a couple of days. It took a week. A full week of struggling with blurred vision and headaches for the 3 of us. We didn't get cases for our glasses- only sleeves; no cleaning cloths- those seem to cost extra here. There were fingerprints all over the lenses on all 3 pairs of glasses.After a week, I noticed that my glasses had paint peeling off. My son's glasses have gaps between the lenses and the frames; the glasses make squeaky, creaking noises. The lenses of my daughter's glasses have a gap big enough for my nail to fit in the lens moves when cleaning.After calling, I revisited the shop to have our glasses examined by an optician. One of the opticians asked what was wrong with them. After telling her that paint was coming off, she started to vigorously rub and scratch on that spot, I guess to verify if what I said was true. My glasses were taken to an optician in the back and given back to me a few minutes later. I assumed the lenses were changed into a new set of frames. I noticed a new area with the coating coming off, but it wasn't in the front of the frames so I didn’t say anything. Next, my son's glasses were adjusted. They still squeak, just not as badly. At first, the optician told me she didn’t see any gaps in my daughter's glasses. At this point, I didnt have my glasses back yet, so everything was blurry and I had to feel around for the gap and lens movement. After pointing it out to the optician, I was told that my daughter's lenses were going to move anyway.When the glasses were given back to us, they had fingerprints all over them. After mentioning that I would clean them in the car, the opticians said she would clean them for me. No spray or water, just a cloth. I've worn glasses since I was 6. Even with the long break without them, I remember that you should not clean them dry. After examining the glasses, I don't think they changed my frames out at all. I think they painted over the spot in the front. The texture and color is slightly different in that one spot.Glasses I chose: Smilen Eyewear Gotham Style #194. I have to wear glasses all day. With these, the areas behind my ears are in constant pain. The glasses slide down and squeeze my nostrils making it awkward to breathe. There seems to be no way to adjust the temples or the hinges.Needless to say, after this experience, we won't be getting glasses from this shop anymore, but the optometrist was great- informative and understanding. Next year, I will try Warby Parker or something.

I went in needing a eye exam and new glasses. The guys were very professional and I have excellent results because of them.The next step was purchasing new glasses and frames. One pair clear lens, one pair blue tint. I ordered my glasses on a Friday and got them back on the following Tuesday, just as they had promised.My expirence with the ladies at the front desk was great. Overall I give them 5 stars out of 5 stars. They earned it..I will be going back soon to have some additional glasses made. I would highly recommend anyone needing eye exams or glasses go see these people.Michael England
