On my visit store was still in post remodel stage, so of course not everything was stocked. It does look promising though and has great potential. So giving it 3 stars for now, will update after future visits to location.

The staff are great and try their best but the store always has a long line. I think they should hire more people so they can at least have 2 registers open.

.i'll give it 2 stars, one of the employees was rude unnecessarlly, but it wont affect whether I shop there. The store was clean, well organized, although most customers were maskless. The employees wore mask.I appreciated that.

This store was better before they tried to make it a marketplace there is nothing in store and shelves are empty can’t find anything I just feel so bad for the employees and shame on the dollar general owners for messing up a good store I’m sure I will not shop there

Good prices but if you are in a hurry I suggest you find somewhere else. I like the employees but you will have to wait in line to long and with 4 cash registers you should not have to wait in a line for 15 minutes and I don't like to have a new employee at the register by their self because they are constantly making mistakes.

Always greet service, pleasant staff.Just can't believe the difference of higher prices from R Florida stores.See yall next time I'm visiting family in Samson.💞😘🤘🤠

I give it a 2 star 🌟 because the price is never right the coupon if they don't work they want to say they can't do any thing about it i didn't have this much problem with paper coupon and I'm going to stop with that everything else gets a 4 🌟 oh but the stuff is all way gone.....

I visited Dollar General, Samson, Al. Cody,an employee assisted me. He was extra super nice guy. I walk with a cane. He got everything I needed at the cash register and then took it to my car.

We're displaced from Hurricane Michael and the ladies Heather and Granny Pamela were so nice and helped us so much. So thankful for the kindness of people in this little town.

The service is good but they never have enough help there. The check out line always gets backed up because of it. But everything else is good

This place is ALWAYS a mess! Always out of stock of the things I shop for,the manager is rude,loud and I have heard use not so customer friendly words on the sales floor. The store has really gone down hill within the past year!

Usually busy with ONE checker. Takes as long to check out as it does to shop. In Samson, Kinston is better now.

Well the store wasn't you clean and you're out of everything but I understand yesterday was Thanksgiving but the stairs are as clean as it used to be your Cashiers are not very friend.

Go to any Dollar General for good prices and deals. I used to work at a Dollar General in TN and they are a great company to work for as well.
