I was super impressed with Walton’s. I love a good catfish place and this place didn’t disappoint! I came here with family on a Saturday night as a huge crowd was clearing. I should have known from the full parking lot that this place was superb!! I had the three catfish plate with two sides. Prices were reasonable, food was awesome, and the waitresses were so kind! The owner came around after our meal and checked to make sure everything was okay! Love that kind of service. Hush puppies were some of the best I’ve ever had!

Waltons Restaurant is a favorite for locals and is a must try for anyone visiting North Alabama. The hush puppies are 10 out of 10! The catfish is famous, the steaks, chicken and burgers are incredible and the sweet tea is simply amazing! There is nothing on the menu that you should not try! Locally owned and operated, the service is always second to none! Next time you want a great meal, Waltons should be your destination!

My wife and I decided to stop by there just by sheer chance. We were hungry and there it was. It was a nice rustic look even the outdoors had that kind of feel. They had a nice arranged flower garden. When we got inside there was no hostess there to seat us we were told just to find somewhere to sit. The server came around her name was Sissy and she was very helpful. She actually sat down at the table with us and talked about how the food was prepared. My wife and I both decided on the steaks the ribeye. Mine was cooked medium rare hers was medium. The steaks were cooked very well and had a good flavor. The baked potato was cooked nicely. It had the baked potato taste to it. We also have ribs but we haven't tried them yet. We got him to go. All in all the experience was good. The server is what made the experience enjoyable. The food was good but not as good as a service. I live an hour and a half away from that place and I can't wait to go back.

I'm visiting the area to do some fishing and decided to stop by for dinner. The waitress and other staff were really nice and pleasant. Food was fast, hot and very good.This place has a lot of "southern charm".

Southern family restaurant in Town Creek, AL. Simple food like chicken tenders, burgers, shrimp, catfish, etc. Cozy, small town, country atmosphere with excellent servers. Everyone in out party got tenders so can't comment on other dishes. But the tenders were phenomenal. You'll love it. Reasonably priced. The tender plate was $9.95. Highly recommend.Parking: Gravel lot, so really can park wherever you find room. But looked to be plenty of space to.find a place to park.Kid-friendliness: Family atmosphere. Several kids there when we visited. Tables are not packed in, so area was roomy. Kids are welcomed.

We ride down to Joe wheeler at least twice a week and Waltons is our place to stop by. The prices are so budget friendly. Waltons has delicious food, hush puppies, catfish (bone in or filet), sirloin sandwich, John boy burger… you can’t choose wrong. Yesterday I had a 12 oz New York Strip. It was one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. In the south we say somebody put their foot in it but that steak was definitely both feet! A must try place but be warned it can be addictive.Parking: Lots of room. Large area for backing up and motorcycle friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Located at the front door and wheelchair ramp.

The food was delicious, although I thought the reference to cheese on the Ronnie boy special would be something other than a slice of American cheese. The hamburger steak was juicy and very flavorful. The staff was friendly and the service was great. They recently added a salad bar here and it is definitely a nice addition to the menu. Definitely would recommend for casual family dining.

Their hush puppies can't be beat. My dad enjoyed the Ronnie Boy special hamburger steak. Mom had the whole fried catfish cooked to perfection. My chicken tenders were juicy and crisp. I look forward to returning here again.

Swing and a miss for my visit on a Thursday night.Nonexistent service. 20+ mins for a waitress to take our order, over an hour to receive food. Once the food arrived it wasn’t hot. It tasted ok, but nothing too special.I’m not sure what’s going on here, but this was my second visit with the exact same result.Good luck with Waltons. I hope you have plenty of patients and relatively low expectations.

The food was good. The service was friendly. It was too hot though. I don't think the air could keep up with all the body heat and small space. Strongly recommend the ribeye steak.

This is a great find. So we kept hearing about Walton’s from all the locals and now I know why.They have amazing steaks, catfish plates come small, medium and large for an entire fish, sides, hush puppies the works..and last night I ordered the grilled pork chop plate… perfectly seasoned and moist.The wait staff that work there are all friendly and personable. They remember your names and even gave me great tips on where to buy furniture for our new home.Aside from the fantastic food and great service they have pies, pies and pies… pecan, pecan cream, possum just to name my favorites.Parking: Great large lotWheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp.

Buddy and I rode over and had lunch. Ribs for him and catfish for me (small plate was plenty to eat). Then a bit of motorcycle trouble so while waiting on a battery to charge up, the Possum Pie for both of us was a great way to end our visit. Well worth the trip over, and the Staff was very friendly and accommodating.Parking: Huge parking lot!

Stopped here while riding motorcycles. Haven't been here in a while. Wanted catfish since we were close to the river. Ordered the 2 piece and 3 piece dinners. Sides were the vinegar coleslaw, hot mustard coleslaw, baked beans and fries. This came with a slice of onions and hush puppies. The fish of good portion and hot. The slaw is great with the hot mustard being the better. Fries were hot and crisp and beans were excellent. Tried the pecan cream pie. It was light and creamy. Service was fast and friendly. Dining area was clean and orderly. Excellent dinning experience.

Oh my goodness this restaurant is amazing. While passing through on my way to Florence, I noticed a billboard claiming Walton's had the best hush puppies in the south. That is a MIGHTY claim so I was curious and stopped by. I was not disappointed!!! In fact, I was ecstatic. The hush puppies are great as promised, but the rest of their food was also amazing. PLUS it's very well priced. The staff is also freindly and to anyone going for the first time, I suggest the possum pie. 😉

Food was awful. They used to have awesome food. Today the catfish was hard as a rock. I will use it as a weapon if someone breaks in my house. Steaks were lightly cooked on the outside and full of fat. Half the steak was fat. The fryed potatoes were not cooked at all. I guess I shouldn't say at all they were the color of butter. Ok I am out money and still hungry.
