Worst Dollar General in this area. Manager is rude. She’s usually on the phone yelling at someone. Alway have to wait on a cashier to show up at the register. Saturday is the biggest shopping day but racks upon racks of products are in the aisles waiting to be stocked. Need new management or close the doors.

“Store manager “ is very rude and refused to override a damaged item.I asked the person checking me out — twice — if it had been taken off. She said Yes.Got to vehicle & checked my receipt. Full price !!The need a “New” Store manager who knows her job and makes sure the staff is effective enough to check people outAlso, I have been in there several times at night in the past few weeks , and they TURN THE LIGHTS OUT at 9:00pm. — eventhough they don’t close till 10:00pmNot only can you NOT see to finish shopping — it is very dangerous for older people who cannot see or walk wellThe first time. I thought it was just a fluke — but then it happened TWO more times. THREE times in a month I witnessed itI will be calling Corporate about these issues.

1. You put price tags out then register rings up higher, takes forever to get a Mgr to fix it. 4 registers but never more than 1 open with the " new girl ". Slower than pond water in winter... NO problem my 100 plus a week will now go to the Foodland across the street.

Great place to shop. Amy is a working manager. Lee Ann was a lit of gel to me. The o ly thing the store is more empty than it has been. I realize the ships are at sea. And the shortage of truck drivers. Hope that gets settled so the store can pick back up on it's inventory.

Mrs. Amy Summers works her tail off for this store. She has a really great team. Sherry, Bethany, and Amanda are the best. Especially Amanda. She always makes me feel welcomed. She doesn't judge anyone and she is really really sweet. Sherry will cut up with you and make your shopping experience the best she can. Bethany is a hard worker and Amy should be proud to have her and I know she is. Amy really does work hard. She is one of my top favorite managers. Love each and every one of you guys

I am new to the Alabama area. I love the dollar general store. They have pretty much what most stores don't at reasonable prices. The staff is kind. Your shopping experience is quick. You can find most anything except for fruit and veggies.

I’ve given this store several chances mostly because it is so convenient for me. However, I have decided I will not be shopping there anymore. This store is extremely messy. It’s hard to get through the aisles because there is always big carts full of items parked in the middle of the aisles. I never see anyone stocking the shelves with these items. It’s not just on one aisle every now and then. It’s multiple aisles. I’ve actually tripped over things laying on the floor. Things are always a mess in there. After talking with a few friends we came to the decision that we would no longer shop there at least not until something is done. Also, you expect for the food items to not be expired if on the shelf but myself and a friend have both gotten home with an item to find it was expired...way expired. We only noticed after started to eat the particular food product. So I be had many bad experiences with this particular Dollar General.

I showed up at 9:50 and the store closed at 10, Haley”the manager” processed to yell and scream at me saying they were closed when they we’re supposed to close at 10 and I needed medicine for my kid so I made sure to get there before they closed but to my surprise the manager Haley said they clsoe 15mins early every day and continued to argue....and after that another manager pulled up behind my car and started yelling at me and his name was”Brandon” and claimed he was a manager....he was the fat guy in shorts and almost hit my car for no reason, he was looking for a fight and all over them closing 15mins before they we’re supposed to

Friendly Cashier (Elgin). Hard to shop where people dont like their jobs. I've noticed at most Dollar Generals(except 1 by tracks in Tuscumbia) that the workers are so helpful & dont mind assisting with all the changes going on inside their store. Fair prices.

Cluttered and difficult to maneuver the isles and around the registers. 2nd register is almost always blocked with full stock carts. Not very clean. Restock is laying all over the place in all the isles. I only go to this particular store as a last resort.

There's a new manager at this Dollar General. She is absolutely awful very rude!! I was asking her where something was I just thought she was a regular employee. I was very polite to her she in return was very rude. Absolutely uncalled for!! I will never return to this Dollar General ever!

Sold out of the things I wanted. Good friendly service with good directions to locate where to find the right gifts.. Parking lot and driveway are full of potholes which almost made me reck water was covering the hole. Hwy 72 at Elgin crossroads.

Junky store. They are always out of stuff. Boxes in the aisles. You can not sell it if the merchandise is in boxes sitting every where. It is like this all the time. I go to other stores.
