Idiots... very rude idiots. Once went in and tried to buy something but it wouldn't ring up on the register. The lady working the checkout that day literally said " I'm not doing this right now." anyways, ended up getting forced to leave as she wouldn't even look at me when I was trying to figure out why the register wouldn't work

I’ve had many unpleasant experiences with the two older women who work there. Ones name is Rita. She honestly makes me dread going in there. Her attitude is horrible. If you ask a question she looks at you like you should know the answer. I’ve called cooperate but obviously that does no good, because I’m obviously not the only one having bad customer service from her.

I had the rudest experience with Rita. I asked her why my purex detergent the same kind one rung up for $8 the second one rung up for $9.95. therefore that threw me out of getting my discount of buy one get one free and my $5 off $25 which I had oh my subtotal. So therefore I paid $6 more than what I should have. She refused to even look at it and would holler next for the next customer. I am emailing and I will be talking to someone at Dollar general about her and that location.

Customer service was amazing but the store was very old and in need of a facelift. Very disorganized and dirty. But again the lady working that day was super friendly and helpful. Needs a remodel and some better lighting. Packed super tight in a tiny store. I prefer the dg about a mile down the road.

So the store is fine... It's a dollar general. But whomever it was working the register just now (19FEB2020 6:30pm) was extremely rude. She obviously either had a bad day or didn't like the job, but she shouldn't take it out on customers.

The staff were very nice and helpful, and the store was clean. Another thing, the isles were clear and you could easily get up and down them. A lot of other DollarGeneral stores are not as nice.

A lot of the stores in this area are turning into DGMarkets. I went into one yesterday just to pick up a few things really didn't have time to look around.

Dollar general is good cause they have locations where you need them to be. And tend to be open later than typical grocerie or convenience stores. Understandably this takes away from small town businesses, due to difficulty to compete with their hours and prices.

This was the best Dollar General I have ever shopped at. The Shelves were fully stocked, uncluttered, and fronted. It made my shopping experience very pleasant.

Its a local store and a superstore. One stop shop..except no gas outside.. plenty of parking, clean bathroom,redbox outside for movies..The staff here are so helpful and politeCan take you right to what ya looking for and help pick the right one for your needs..Fort Payne,Al.about 10 miles away. Local police are the best always checking on stores out here and asking if we senior citizens are ok and need any help.I would recommend this store to stop.Its located Rainsville,Al...

Excellent and clean store with that typical Dollar General feel, but also a hint of hometown TLC that makes it a little better than "run of the mill" there aren't many other options around for shopping so I appreciate the care and attention to detail all the more.

This store has the absolute worst check out I honestly think I can drive to the next closest one in powel check out and be home before I can even make it to the register, other than that everything has been fine I just know there is no way to get in and out in a hurry.

Great place to run in 'quick'. Good bargains. The employees are nice; they will help you find what you're looking for. Be sure to get the app for digital coupons. That will save you money.

They have nearly anything that you might be looking for. It's easy to just pop in grab what you want and get back out. Cashier staff are usually friendly, go there regularly.

Well I just commented on Dollar General. One of about 5 places I can afford to shop. We are going to get a Dollar Store at the College. Which will serve the Metropolis of Powell. A town which grows and dies down. Also a town of Firsts. First Disconnects. A Lace factory. A Newspaper. Yes, the town has browed and dies, unfortunately so has many of our Love ones. All part of God's Plan. Stay Safe Powellians.

Very clean store and 97% polite and friendly employees. Downside is almost always the lines. I always have to wait in long lines when I go here which is often.

It's alright. One of the cashier's was kind of really rude at first honestly which irritated me because I needed help with my car but she changed her attitude by the time I left. So it's aight I guess.

It's a good little convenience store.pretty good place for a quick stop.when you don't want to go into a bigger store.or grocery store.when you just need 1 item.or a few seems pretty good for that.

Our local store is a super store opens early stays open late.They always have a good selection of items to choose .
