I would give them more than 5 stars if it would let me. Great customer service from the time you walk in the store. Everyone is so helpful from the sales floor to the rental department to the service department. They have earned my business. I'll only be going to Lowes or Home Depot if it's for something they don't carry.

Took my Bad Boy Mower to the prattville location for the first time to be serviced and really liked dealing with Tyler very nice young fella. Service was really good . I have had my mower for years and it's a great mower I would recommend these guys

I set up a reservation for a piece of equipment last week and was told that just rented it out while I was waiting in line for it. Dont bother getting anything from here, much less trying to rent equipment. Terrible service, incredibly unhelpful staff, and a complete inability to fix customers issues. I'll never give them another dollar.

I've used Russell's as my source for balsa wood for Christmas Crafts. They have various thicknesses.Today, I picked up a replacement 4' LED shop light. I love the non-big box environment and the staff is very helpful.

This was great, but I am having to change my rating from a 5 to a 3. The reason is that there is a manager - female - who became extremely rude when I needed to return a saw I purchased yesterday. She wanted to know if it had been used once, and I just wanted my money back. Told her the darn thing wouldn't cut she finally gave me my credit refund. I've used this store for many purchases, rather than the national chains, but that is over. Perhaps I'll be better served at another hardware company.

Rented a gas powered saw from them for a weekend job. It would not run. I had to replace the spark plug and clean both air filters. Still would not run. I had to take it back to them on Monday to fix. But they did give me an extra day.

Rented a floor sander from this place and the drum kept breaking the sandpaper every two or three passes. They said 10 pieces was enough to do the entire house but it wasn’t even enough to do one room. The drum was deteriorating. With every sand paper break there was red material from the drum crumbled in the floor. It also left white lines everywhere. I took it back and told them but they did not care one bit. im just hand sanding the entire house by hand. I from never shop at this store again.

Very great location here! One of the larger well stocked stores in the chain. Staff is EXTREMELY helpful and friendly! Just made my 2nd LARGE purchase here and will go back, even though I have at least 3 Russell Do-It Centers closer to me. Kirby is doing it right!!

The thing that strikes me first, employee's are VERY helpful. They don't run and hide when a customer walks in. Many other places of the same nature as Russell's seem to like to spot customers needing assistance and taking off in the other direction. Kudos, Russell Do it Center-Prattville for making us feel appreciated!

We were in need of a generator after a big storm and looking at the possibility of being out of power for several days. Russell was the only place that still had them and we were glad to get a good quality one at a good price. They were super helpful. I plan to come back to shop them first next time. They even unboxed it and added the wheel assembly for us! So nice!

Best customer service in town. Every employee cares about the store, and that shows. Great popcorn, and they always have what I need for the house, unlike the big stores, you can buy single nut/bolt, or in bulk. Nostalgic fountains and decorations for the yard, as well as functional tools and yard maintenance.

I have to say, the folks were very polite on the phone, but my experience was not helpful and also a little annoying. I called to ask if they carry band-saw blades. I was put on hold for a couple of minutes, then she came back to ask me to repeat what I was looking for. Told her again, and 3-4 minutes later, someone else picked up and asked me if I was being helped. I said, "Yes ma'am", and got put on hold again. A minute or so later, the person I first spoke to asked if someone had helped me. When I said, "Not yet", she said, "I don't know why they didn't pick up." Got put on hold again. A guy picked up a minute or so later, and asked for details on what I was looking for. On hold, again. Couple of minutes later, another guy picks up, asks me the same questions, pauses and says, "We don't have that." Long story short, if your employees don't know what you are selling, they probably shouldn't be answering your phone.

Nice customer service, they didn't have sulfur for snakes, but had other products. So I didn't purchase anything. The store was neat and clean.
