30 March 2024I met a friend in old town Prattville stopped by this Publix on my way to Montgomery. They put forth tremendous effort to have sale items easily accessible. I found the employees to be very friendly, polite and courteous. I thoroughly enjoyed my short visit to this Publix.

Awesome store PHARMACY SUCKS... HEY ALWAYS SCREW UP MY RX Once They put the wrong doctors name On an opiate prescription. They also never answered the phone or answer left messages. Once I got 3 refills on a med when my Dr gave none and the first time ever used them it was for an rx of 90 pills in but they put then in 7 different bottles! Some containing 8 pills another 4 another 3 pills.... U get the picture each with refills on the them! I've had refills o. Meds that the Dr told me she called in two refills when u got there they didn't know who I was even. Then proceeded to call the Dr on a Saturday to confirm and then they STILL ONLY FILLED ONE RX WITHOUT THE 2 REFILLS. it's been a total nightmare. Switch back to CVS OR WALGREENS BEFORE TO THEY REALLY HURT SOMEONE GIVING THE WRONG MEDICINE OR DOSAGES OR BOTH!

2nd Time returning Crunchy Fruit that shouldn’t be. I pay more to shop at Publix because I expect better quality and typically I get it. You usually don’t see fruits and vegetables that are extra large in size , but instead those that are closer to natural. Well lately I’ve returned 2 fruit types that are unnaturally crunchy like potato chips crunchy. The green grapes and the watermelon. I am so disappointed in them for this.

I love the store inside and out. I was going to stop using Walmart. Reality is I'm too poor for Publix... I wish it wasn't true. I looked at a few things I needed. Loved loved loved the fresh sushi bar. They were making it fresh and I noticed the sign they have a $5 sushi day. It all looks really great, everything! I wish I could shop at Publix 😕

Stopped to get some Sushi and as usual it was awesome. We have always had good luck with Publix and never had bad Sushi.We were pulling a travel trailer and had enough room to park while we ate.

Nice clean store, friendly employees. As we were going to check out, I noticed a female employee walking so close to us that I thought we were in her way, so I asked if she needed to get by us, but she said no. I noticed she had a few items in her hand, so figured she was taking a break and I told her she could go ahead of us, so she wasn't having to take up her break time. She got ahead of us and said nothing. No thank u, no smile, nothing. I thought that was rude.

The store was very clean, it was well organized, the employees were very friendly, some of the things were little pricey but overall experience was good.

Always a pleasant experience at Publix. Employees are kind and friendly. The store was clean and although checkout was busy it was still quick since they maintained several registers open. Blaze and Grason especially were polite and efficient at the register.

Store is fine. The deli at this store is the issue. Ordered once and ran into problems. A year later, I’d figure I’d give it a chance again. Order 3 subs at 6 pm. Says it’ll be ready at 6:45. Show up at 6:45 to be told, “someone ordered 15 subs ahead of you”. How that’s my problem, I’m not sure. Publix is a great company but this store completely ruins that great reputation…Update, asked how much longer it would be. Told they actually never received the order. Went to customer service and that manager instantly found the order in the system and was able to cancel it for me and refund the money.

Chicken was so dry like it had been sitting out all day. Feels like I got hit in the jaw after chewing that tough chicken sub. Cuban sandwich bread was rock hard.

My go to grocery store! Always the best produce, meats, and customer service! Their bakery has been making cupcakes and cakes for birthdays in our family for years.

This Publix location was clean and well-organized with a good selection. The deli staff were kind and friendly. A wide selection of offers and BOGOs meant comparison shopping to save money was easy. I would recommend a better selection of import beers - beyond that I wouldn't change a thing.

The Manager, Bill, at this Publix in Prattsville, AL went out of his way to make my daughter’s birthday special. I live inSt. Louis, Mo and was trying to get some cupcakes to my daughter’s college soccer team, who were traveling on her Birthday. Come to find out in my conversation with Bill was that he was an Alum from my daughter’s college she attends. Small world! He not only personally dropped the cupcakes off at their hotel down the street, but also brought balloons in the school’s colors with a Happy Birthday balloon too. Southern hospitality is true! Such helpfulness, kindness and politeness shown to a Midwesterner who he did not know. Thank you again for making my daughter’s birthday special when her family wasn’t able to be with her!

Always a pleasant experience. I passed by 12 to 15 workers during my shopping trip, from the parking lot to the cash register. And every single one of them made a point to stop and ask me if I needed any assistance and to wish me a great rest of my afternoon. Great experience!

Publix is fun when you want to pay the price for esoteric and hard to find items, and superb fresh produce. I tend to send save Publix for holidays, for economy, but I always enjoy my visits there.

My shopping was good, but could have been excellent if they would sell a few wild caught fish whole with the head on them. Also, I was looking for seeded grapes - the Globe ones that they use to have. It would be great if they would have these items. Otherwise, I may need to take up deep fishing and grow my own grapes ....;)
