Me, my cousin and my aunt went to belk today. they had this sign sitting out and the back said $29.99. i took this picture and asked one of the managers and she said it’s not supposed to be out but she will honor it since it was out. she never said it had to be original price. so we all found three pairs of shoes and took it up to the register and the lady that was up there was different from the one we saw earlier, so we showed her the sign and we told her what the manager said. then she said it was fine then proceeded to try to check us out for $89 and tells us it has to be the original price since it was the wrong sign out. even tho the sign said $29.99 on the back of the one that said buy one get TWO free.

Awesome staff! Me and my friend were looking for cologne and the lady at the counter took all of her time to let us smell almost every single one. She was so friendly and so were the other ladies that were talking at us at the counter. It was also very well lit, clean, stocked, and well priced. I would absolutely recommend this location!

I had a very pleasant experience at Belk The lady in the shoe department was so friendly! I neglected to get her name however she was so helpful to me. I was having a little bit of a meltdown just because of life. But she stopped everything she was doing just to help and listen I was able to get the shoes that I wanted and she helped me decide which ones to get and which ones to put back to stick to my budget. She went far beyond what most department store clerks do these days.UPDATE! I decided to check out Belk 07/21/2023 found out it was tax free weekend for school which meant no tax on clothes, shoes, and anything else you would need for college or school supplies. I was able to have this sales assistant Brian help me pick out the best shoes and give me the best deals and show me how to work the app to get my coupons. I went back two days in a row. I also want to get a watch.(Not tax free) he was friendly, and when I love his way to help me, thank you vote for hiring such a sweet young guy to help a lady who actually made a lot of help. He really made my shopping much easier. Thank you Brian for your hard work and exceptional service.

Staff is very friendly, store is clean and lots of great merchandise and sales to choice from daily. I am now an employee of Belks and love my job! Such a blessing. I love helping my customers and making them smile.

I really don't like it when employees look down their nose at me. I can afford to buy anything in this store I want, yet I was looked down on as if I was a homeless person. The employee was just chatting it up with the customer ahead of me, then she talked to me as if I didn't belong in the establishment. I probably won't be back.

Belk's is a nice department store. It's clean, well laid out, and the associates are friendly and helpful. Lots of good sales and even deeper discounts when you sign up for one of their cards. :-)

Great experience. I was shopping for shoes and found exactly what I was looking for. Lots of brands to choose from. Belk workers were very helpful and one even extended her lunch break to assist in check-out. Will definitely return for another shopping experience. 5+ rating.

Went here to get my daughter some boots because a friend recommended them & they had plenty options. I’m glad I took my daughter with me because it didn’t know where to even start to look. I went around the Black Friday sales so I got a pretty good deal on them. Very good parking space but if you have trouble walking it may be an issue because the way they have the parks made it’s literally only a handful in the front, which seem to be always taken. Friendly staff and plenty of areas to check out bar. I use to not shop at belks but I will definitely be back!

The formal wear selection for young men is much better than other department stores in our area. I took my 15 year old son shopping for his prom tux the night before the prom.... and we were able to dress him to the nines. For only a couple hundred dollars we got his entire get-up (including vest, shoes, & white jacket with lapels). His black tie outfit looked like it was straight out of a magazine. He was awarded best dressed at the senior prom. Thank you, Belk.

Haven't been in Belk since Covid. It was nice to return. Unfortunately they only had 2 women's nightgowns (plenty of pj's) & none of the undergarments I used to buy, so left with no purchase. Store looked festive tho!

Visited during a great sales event, was very happy with prices and quality of items purchsed, so much so that I came back a few days later with a family member from out of state who was also very impressed with this location. She commented this store was much more organized than the one near her home and customer service was great. I needed to exchange a couple of items from the previous visit for smaller size which was not available in the store, but the cashier was awesome, she ordered it and it was shipped free to my home a few days later. I wish I could remember the sweet associate's name (this was back in Nov 2021), she stayed so calm and focused on her customers despite the busy activity in the store that could've distracted or overwhelmed her....pls acknowledge the hard work of assoc # 11452. Prattville Belk staff, keep up the great customer service. Thanks!

In my opinion just another retail clothing store same as any other but my wife loves this place so we give it 4 stars. The staff is usually fairly nice there are plenty of benches to sit on and hold a purse while my wife shops and there are some good deals from time to time on Levi pants and some other things that I wear. The biggest reason this place gets four stars is that it makes my wife smile to go there and I do think it's because she knows she's torturing me.

I live in Montgomery and will drive to Prattville to shop at this Belk. The store isn't jammed up with merchandise like the Montgomery store and the staff are nicer. The cosmetics department needs to be better stocked as I've had to order some of the items I needed through the Belk app. It takes about a week to 10 days to get items through the app.

We went shopping for clothes for my hubby today and were able to take advantage of an extra %25 off for being Belk cardholders. We found so many bargains on great brand name clothes like New Balance, Ralph Lauren, Crown and Ivy, and Levis.. The location was easy to find and we had a great time.

I have mixed feelings writing this review. I love this Belk in that it's one of the only stores around this area that gives the FEEL of being in a mallsincr we no longer have malls around here. Nevertheless, my husband purchased me a very EXPENSIVE ring that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!!! However, my beautiful gem feel out a couple of days later when the prong bent. Ughhhh BROKE MY 💜! THANK GOD for the jewelry service plan he purchased because with it they are replacing the stone that was lost AND I asked them to RETIP THE PRONGS b/c they didn't completely secure the ring. Now I'm very happy about that...but when I tell you I experienced the most non-chalant, unconcerned, i-really-don't-feel-like-dealing-with-this-nor-you kinda manager I've ever encountered!!!!! She was more concerned w/taking links out of a $250 watch than even stopping 2 seconds to offer any kind of a whoa I hate that happened and we'll certainly take care of this $1300 ring that was purchased from US!!!! Its all good though....my ring is headed to the jeweler thanks to the service plan and I've learned how NOT to treat people. I pray God never allow anyone to treat that manager with the same lack of concern she offered us. Anywho....I can't wait to get my beautiful ring back!!!!!

Shopping during the Christmas season is horrid, but today at Belks in Prattville was a wonderful experience due to an exceptional employee...Lena.She went over and above in helping me to check out and help with my purchases. Her positive attitude and professionalism was stellar. I have worked retail and trained associates in the past. Lena was such a superstar that I simply had to praise such superior service. Belks has always provided me good service, but this young woman amazing.
