This theatre is a little older but I don't mind going here. Took my daughter recently along with my wife and spent over $20 per person though. Drink machines should have had more options but weren't stocked. Wife thought the popcorn was a little old. The movie wasn't bad but we heard the occasional roar of bass from an adjacent theatre throughout the movie. Pretty clean overall though.

I went to the movie Thursday night. It was clean and I want to give a personal review on Maddie Chandler who was working behind the counter. I have never met this young lady. But she was so kind, seemed to really enjoy her job. She did a great job. It is so rare now days to see someone so happy and willing to answer all your questions with a smile.

Seemed like a decent theater, usual expensive products. Great movie with friends, "unsung hero". Very good movie for a " love your neighbor" Christian movie. Would be great for the family.

During my previous review 6 years ago I said this was your "run of the mill movie theater with long waits at times to purchase tickets...they remodeled a couple of years ago and totally forgot the restrooms". Since then, someone must have listened because the restroom, though still dated, has improved. They're still known for their great ticket prices and nice atmosphere. I love the discount for military/veterans.

I don’t attend very many movies anymore since my children have grown up and moved away. However , my husband and I decided to go on a date night to see the new Indiana Jones movie. It was actually a wonderful movie! It was action packed, exciting and didn’t disappoint. It was actually emotional for me, I have been watching this series of movies since 1981! If you haven’t seen it, you really need to because it was very good and the staff was friendly and helpful as well!😍 the only reason I gave it a Store ready for was because the bathrooms were not very clean. And the handicap bathroom had no door on it over and that it was very good.

Listen, every time we come, I pre-purchase tickets and concessions but still have to wait in a long line. They don’t have enough people working to open the ticket desk and the co session stand so they do both at the concession stand. This is why I only come once a year and will most likely reduce that to 0 times per year. You need more than 2 kids working everything when big movies are out.

Be careful! I set up a guys night out to see Godzilla Minus One yesterday based on the showtimes listed online. Got there with my large group and was told that they were not showing the movie. The employee at the concession stand said that the movie was no longer in their theaters. Then after she checked realizing her mistake said they weren't showing it that night and asked me to come back the next day for a showing at the same time. Their negligence messed up a planned event! Make sure you double and triple check dates and times they schedule online because yesterday they were not accurate. Will not have a large event there ever again!

Went there today and my movie was very fuzzy . Went to the counter and asked and they said it wasn’t 3D while everyone else in the auditorium had their glasses on . Haven’t fixed anything and was totally unacceptable !

Bravo!! I was blown away by the cast's excellent performance, their outstanding talents and overall energy. I can't think of musical movie that has taken my breath away as this one. Kudos to everyone involved!!

This has to be the nastiest theater ever. My feet were literally GLUED to the floor they were so sticky and disgusting. Bathrooms are awful. There seems to be no attempt to clean this theater in ages. We will drive to Montgomery or Birmingham from now on.

Edit for 2024: the past several times I've tried to come to this theater, there's been some major malfunction that's rendered the movie unwatchable. Tonight I walked in at 6:20 for a movie that was supposed to start at 6:30 and it was already fifteen minutes into the film. And there was no sound. Was assured it would get restarted with sound. So I sat and waited ten minutes watching a silent movie. A restart didn't happen. I got a refund and left. I'm going to just wait for movies to stream at home, I guess.Original review below still applies. The women's room had new faucets but still smelled strongly of urine.---------I can’t speak to the men’s room, but the women’s restroom has so many nonfunctional toilets filled with unflushed urine that the smell is unbearable. Only about 1/3 of the stall doors lock properly, too. Worse, IT’S BEEN THAT WAY FOR YEARS.Tonight had the urine sauna restroom, with an added completely filthy sticky countertop with spilled popcorn all over it. Then outside in the lobby, there’s another amazing smell, something foul and unidentifiable. I had to return to the counter twice to get my 3d glasses.All of that would have been fine— but then the 3D malfunctioned, rendering the movie an unwatchable mess. I even waited through the previews to make sure it wasn’t just a problem in the prepackaged preview set.I got a full refund, at least. Hadn’t even touched my candy or drink. I told the manager all this and she just kind of shrugged helplessly and said that her higher-ups had no plans to make any of this gross, run-down and understaffed theater any better. They don’t want to shell out any money.Edit to add: went back and the sound in theater #10 was muffled and way too quiet. I notified someone but no effort was made to correct it. I gave up and had to listen carefully to catch all the dialogue. Doesn’t anyone in charge care that this place feels, looks, smells, and sounds like it’s completely falling apart?

Molded popcorn alert. I went on the 1st Sunday in Sept ‘23 to see a 6:20pm movie. 2 tickets, Large popcorn, large drink. The popcorn was noticeably stale and after several bites we tasted airy molded popcorn. That was the most terrible feeling. Management and team were very pleasant about the complaint, but as a physician with additional training in QI, I could not miss the opportunity to warn the public. Businesses have to be held accountable for their public service esp when it comes to the health and welfare of trusting and unsuspecting citizens. Management offered another food item in place of it and so that I could support their sales I went for the cinnamon pretzel bites instead of a refund. I am not hard to please. I just believe that if you’re going to overcharge then I should receive quality. The pretzel bites were distastefully doughy. I discarded them after one bite. But I’m sure someone else may like them. Otherwise, the theatre was clean and quiet. Just please watch the food.

One and done for me. Purchased ticket on the AMC app and ordered a drink and pretzel bites. It said you can order ahead and it will be ready to pick up at the express pickup.There is absolutely no express pickup and you had to wait in the regular line. Waited forever to get to the person and then come to find out that not only that it wasn’t ready that isn’t even a thing and they still had to make them. The only thing they t did for me was have it in the system so I didn’t have to tell them what I wanted. Then he made them wrong.The theatre outside and inside looked like a war zone trash all over the place and absolutely filthy and disgusting.

Even if you bought your tickets online you have to stand in the concession stand line to enter. It really defeats the entire purpose of the app and wastes unholy time. The line was out the door. I showed up 30+ minutes early and barely made showtime. I'd give it zero stars if I could. There were 5-6 staff members present, 3 were handling all ticketing and concessions, would have been cool if other employees could have helped during the evening surge. Its interesting that most of the positive reviews are historic and most of the recent reviews are harsh. Similar to other reviews my theater fluctuated between uncomfortably hot and freezing cold. The movie also froze up many times, though it eventually came back on. This may have been the worst movie experience of my life.

I enjoyed my visit to AMC Classic Prattville 12. The movie was great! I just wish that I had known that the movie would start 45 minutes after the time that we purchased tickets for. Overall, The staff were wonderful! We've never had a bad experience.

I visited the AMC in Prattville with barely any expectations, and somehow it still fell short. I ordered my tickets and concessions online, and when I got to the cinema I still had to stand in the concession line. This was the least of my worries it turns our. Once I got to the front of the line, I had to remind the concession boy that I ordered two large popcorns and a drink. He proceeded to give me two small popcorn and claim that they were larges. When I pointed this out, his response was to pick of the bag of popcorn and dump it into another one of the exact same size bags. I didn't know how to handle that interaction, so decided to just head to my theater. The theater was dingy and unclean, as well as the bathrooms. Overall a terrible experience. I typically enjoy the AMC experience, but this experience has left me unsure of the quality that AMC will provide in the future. (Also, the seats don't recline).

Everything was fine until we got into the movie theater room six. The air conditioner doesn’t work in that room and they don’t tell you that before hand. It’s literally a 20 degree difference from the hallway to the entrance of that room. Unless you want to literally sweat your butt off and turn red I don’t recommend. When I asked a staff member about it they said “we have had so many complaints about that I’m sorry our Gm is “working” on it” and then told us the fan was broken that they couldn’t turn it on either. Left before our movie ended because I was literally about to pass out. If they have to keep room six open then they need to offer free water or personal hand fans for the customers. Also they should refund you if you need to leave because of the heat, I don’t think it’s fair you spend so much money on tickets and can’t watch the movie because of it being so uncomfortable! If not a refund they should at least credit us tickets for a different day and different film.

Went to see Sound Of Freedom. The theatre was nice & cool. The restroom was clean but no hand towels, so we got some napkins from the popcorn cart to dry our hands. All in all a good experience.

The movie was great but do not go to a late movie. My popcorn was cold. They had no hot food period. They should keep hot food available until closing time. We went to the last movie which started at 10:45pm. This is the second time I came here late and received cold food stop being sorry and keep the popcorn coming and the other hot foods ready. Your still open showing movies it’s like they shut down early. Popcorn was nasty and cold. Oh yea the bathroom was filthy nasty.

They had a very brief 'brown out' while we were watching the movie. They were unable to restart the show in a reasonable amount of time. We did not get to finish our show but were given readmit passes. What a waste of time and the cost of snacks. They should have all essential equipment on a battery backup.

The theaters are FREEZING. Might as well have just sat outside. It was uncomfortably cold. The concession stand was lacking. The drink machines weren't working so all they had were the icees & bottled water. Seats were ok and the screen was ok. Nothing special. I don't plan on returning here.

Worst experience I’ve ever had. Walked into our movie theatre and it was stupid hot. I went out and asked someone if the could possibly turn the air on. The guy behind the counter said “ manger is really picky about turn the air one.”I’ve spent over $100 there to see a move and now I’ve got sweat in the theater. I’ am happy about the guy telling me the truth and lying to me!I just don’t understand why the manger is picky about turning the air down to make everyone comfortable.I mostly won’t be going back.

This place is so outdated. The theater smelled old and musty. The popcorn was stale, and it was “fresh”. The room we were in was HOT, I don’t get hot easily and I was sweating. This place needs some major renovations before we ever come back.

This is a very clean theater. It is small but never too busy to get your ticket quickly and get to your seat. The bathrooms are close as well so you don’t have to worry about missing to much of the movie if your kid “has to go”. 😂
