Great mom and pops place to park your rig and get some home cooking. The owners are wonderful ppl. The restaurant is clean and organized. You can enjoy a cigarette with your coffee. Breakfast was awesome. I ordered the western omelet with home fries , grits and bacon. Best breakfast I had in a long time. Especially the grits! I will definitely come back through this area just for the restaurant.

We enjoyed this little place, such a cute diner! Definitely not like big chain places. Prices are good! No issues with the food, at all. It was great. Place appeared clean. Pretty quiet, weren't many people there at the time.

They call this a hoagie. And charge 3 dollars more for fries. Second item was blackened chicken. The chicken was cold. Come on if your going to serve good food, then do it. Waited 35 mins for this kind of food. Now I know why I just keep on going. You get warm food at a waffle house then this kountry kitchen.

Stopped in on our way back from visiting Providence Canyon, and I was surprised at how great the food was. I got the chicken tender basket and those hand breaded tenders were amazing! The coleslaw was also delicious and the service was great.Be aware that there is a bar inside, and they seem to allow smoking indoors. It didn’t bother us, and we would definitely go back.

Really good, home style food with real southern hospitality to go with it. I had the catfish and baked beans and both were really good! It’s a bit out of th way but worth the drive. We had a party of 11 and with about as many different meals and everyone enjoyed it.

Great place to eat. I normally get the country fried steak, potato salad, and coleslaw. The size of the Country fried steak is huge. Large portion size for a decent price. They open for breakfast right around 5 AM in the morning. Good for folks working at the paper mill just down the road. They have a convenience store just to the right of the restaurant, and gas pumps out front. They do have truck parking truck for 10 bucks a night. They’ve been making improvements to the parking lot area in the last couple of weeks. Patching potholes and such where the trucks enter and leave the lot. After about 10 Pm it’s a adults only bar with pool tables. And as such They sponsor pool tournaments from time to time.One thing I remember is one of the gas pumps may have non-gasohol fuel. Good to use in older vehicles that can have issues with gasohol based fuels. Also non-gasohol fuels are better in small engines such as lawnmowers and weed eaters.I just confirmed it. They only carry two grades of gas. One pump is standard regular with up to 10 percent of Gasohol. The other pump is regular with no gasohol whatsoever.Good to see a station supporting customers with older vehicles. The way the Economy has been going over the past two years we need to save every buck we can. Gasohol can really damage an older vehicle engine if you’re not super careful.

Not a bad spot for overnight truck parking. Very small lot only able to fit a handful of trucks, but if you find yourself low on hours after picking up at the Westrock down the road, I recommend this place, especially since there really isn’t much else in a 30-50 mile radius. They do charge $10 for truck parking, but I feel better about spending my money on a small town privately owned business than a huge corporate truck stop. The food in the restaurant was decent. Nothing really to write home about, but it hits the spot, it’s not greasy truck stop food, and it is very reasonably priced. Not sure why other reviews are saying they’re expensive. A sandwich with fries and two beers only came to $12. The service was good; the bartender and the staff were quite friendly. It is a smoking bar/restaurant so if that bothers you, this is not the place for you.

Ran out of hours. Stopped here. Delicious food. Ordered BBQ Wings and a blackened Chicken Salad. . Wings were off the chain. Delicious 😋 . Salad is for tomorrow. Very friendly atmosphere. Truck parking is $10 for the night but well worth it! They are not open 24 hours.

This place is AMAZING! legit the best southern breakfast I have ever had. It looks run down in a gas station, and is a bar at night, but the food was amazing. I have 4 kids and they downed every last bite, and then we ordered 10 more bisquits to go! Don't miss this gem!

Down home family owned and operated also the Last store on 165 for miles ...the prices are little on the high side expecaly Tobacco products but the food and people are absolutely great and it being the closest store on that side of the county to alot of folks makes up for the prices over all it's a wonderful place to eat and good country atmosphere...Parking: Also have parking for 18 wheelers,Semi,for truckers not sure if it is free or not but they're is plenty of room and a safe place to park for the night...

There is nothing remotely close. Food taste like school food. Do you remember when you ate in middle school and you thought it was decent until you were old enough to drive and have a better variety of choices. This is not the same. Over priced. They charge you for everything. When it states it's a combo that's a gimmick. No such thing. I spent $60 on 4 people.

Great place to end up while waiting for my load from Westrock. Food was good and reasonably priced, and I'm just happy it wasn't the standard truck stop fair. If I find myself in that neck of the woods again I'll be sure to drop by.

Whoever said family friendly its a BAR & grill & it has good food thats fairly priced. Its no atmosphere for kids. There's a little store too that has plenty of what you need in it~;) Its real nice that its up the street from the mill too.
