Piggly Wiggly is great for food, but Ace is stupidly overpriced other than nuts and bolts. Charcoal grills up to $4000? Coolers up to $500? Kids cheap garbage toys starting at $20 and getting stupidly expensive beyond that.I guess they charge stupid prices because some stupid people are willing to pay stupid prices.Ace shouldn't be selling anything other than hardware if they can't keep their prices reasonable.And what is with those land sharks? I can't walk anywhere near an Ace aisle without being accosted by over-aggressive sales associates. We will come and find you if we need help. It is nice to have associates available and willing to help (unlike Lowes or especially Home Depot), but your associates are just a little too aggressive.

Ace Hardware inside Piggly Wiggly in Clay is always a great place to find most of your hardware, yard, etc. needs. It's close, so we don't have to travel to the big box retailers such as Lowe's or Home Depot. Very customer service oriented staff is always helpful. PLUS, the grocery store is well stocked, clean and well staffed. A grocery store and hardware store together is a great concept

I lost my receipt 2 hrs after I bought an air compressor that didn’t work properly for what I needed it for: to blow up a pool for my 3 children during quarantine. Went to return and ace hardware said that was fine... manager said no. I asked if they could kindly look up on my debit card I used or issue a store credit: nope. Horrible customer service. Just a mom trying to blow up a kiddie pool. Thanks super rude piggly wiggly manager. No reason at all to not issue a store credit. Awful way to deal with customers who were coming A LOT. No more.

Do not use these people to fix any of their products! It does not take over a week to replace a spring in the trigger and housing bolts over the cover of a gas weed eater!
