This Dollar General has a full grocery section prices are ok not great .Could stay stocked better usually low on inventory.Floor is nasty looks like a parking lot .

I loved this place at first because of the app coupons and the store looked nicer than the other ones in the area. However I started realizing how much more expensive they were compared to Walmart. I now make the drive to Walmart instead. The cashiers look miserable as well. They are low staffed.

Excellent employees here! Every time I run in there, to get 1 or 2 things, and I'm always in a big hurry, these girls at the checkout are so sweet and helpful to me. I really like this place, it has just about all the things you need, including food- even produce! Good variety, as well as selection and it's a pretty big store. I definitely recommend it at any time for any reason and most needs!! Just go chat with the fun people there, it's a friendly kind of spot.... : )

I didn't know these existed! This store was organized by a meticulous person. Nothing out of place. Everything was very neat and clean. They have groceries, fresh fruits and veggies, dairy, along with tons of home decor items. Dollar General on steroids. I can wait to back.

It has a larger selection than regular Dollar Generals especially with food. Also, the store itself has more room so the aisles are more spaced out. The prices are good. Usually I don't have to wait too long in line to pay either, so that's a plus.

Use to love this store but here lately the shelves are always bare, parking lot and store are always dirty and nasty looking. Some of the employees are very rude. Bathroom is always out of order. Wish they would get it together.

Always neat and clean. Much bigger than my local Dollar General. It even has a clothing section! (Think miniature Wal-Mart) I come here if I've seen something in the flyer but my local store doesn't have it. They haven't failed me yet!

The best Dollar General around they have groceries here just about anything you need. The employees are so friendly and helpful and they have a handicap buggy which is great for me because I can't walk I have to shop where there's buggies and I Walmart is always so packed and big and such a hassle. All the time now they have where you can call in and get your groceries delivered to your car so that's kind of cool I haven't done that yet. I worry that they won't get it right but I'm going to check it out anyway one day I prefer to go to the Dollar General Market right down the road from my house.

Never been in a Dollar General market until today. It reminds me of a smaller neighborhood Walmart. The left side is full of fresh fruits and vegetables and meat, and it also has a refrigerated section. I would go back next time I am in town.

Were a few people shopping when I was there prices are okay and the employees were helpful but had to stand in a little line for longer than I liked just had one cashier checking people out

omg This store sales beer and has fresh products and meats This Dollar Store Market is great for a rural area My first time there but there was a lady in the store that said she got some bad Baby back ribs ,I just happen to be looking at meat case whenShe came by they were about 22.00 for the rack of ribs that's was a little pricey for something I've still gotta cook but for the convenience of the store and what they sell was great enjoyed the store better than Walmart there people working at the register's I like that nice you lady at cashiers stand keep up the great work

Much larger than regular Dollar General stores. Had a much larger grocery selection including fresh fruits and veggies. Had a nice selection of clothes and the isles seemed to have more space to walk down.

Great place to do your local shopping. It’s like our own little Walmart. They have have fresh produce everyday. The staff are very friendly and helpfulUpdate : prices are steadily going up. A year ago the strawberries were like Wal-Mart prices $1.98 or maybe $2.50. They are now over $4. Geez a few other items are going up as well. But overall it’s good for grab and go items if you need them

Great prices on variety of items including groceries and fresh produce and fruits. Friebdly cashiers as well. Overall, great place to go if you don't want to go to Walmart or regular grocery store. Excellent buys here if you don't want to spend a lot of money either.

It's an average dollar general market. It serves it purpose, the people change so often that you don't really know any particular associate and it's hit or miss on if they are going to have what you are looking for. There's nothing wrong with this store but there's nothing particularly right about it either.

Never has what I need in stock and when I ask a certain worker she acts like it’s a hassle to find out if they have what I need. I’m a paying customer that’s your job!! I see others say staff is helpful. Maybe it’s just I ask the wrong one. You work at the dollar store dear, you’re no better than anyone else.

The dollar General in centre on main st next to Wal-Mart..has the most wonderful employee ...he is always smiling and greeting the ppl that comes in ...this man is awesome...i do not know him personally..nor do I know his name but he deserves a raise and a promotion ...he needs to b in charge of training other employees..............oh I know this post has nothing to do with the piedmont store ..i can say about that store is it's clean ..the employee was friendly ..

I get a lot of my cleaning supplies here. Can't beat the price. I also pick up a cheap toy as a gift to the kids in the neighborhood. They love it.

Great job to the manager of the Piedmont Dollar General because they had a clean store, friendly people working and everything was easy to find. The only negative was not attributed to the staff or the management and that was the prices. One 20 ounce Doctor Pepper costed $1.49 and there is no reason to charge that much just because it was cold! A 2 liter is about the same price it was not just the 20 ounce drink, either! I agree that Dollar General is much more convenient than having to drive all the way to a Walmart, but why do their prices have to be almost double? It almost makes a person think it's worth the gas money and time to drive out of town and only use Dollar General in an emergency.
