We went to dr berrys clinic to get our pups ears cropped as they were the only place around who could do it. (We should’ve done more research of the place before we brought him) The vet tech said she would pickup our pup so he didn’t have to walk. She picked him up ONLY by his collar as she does this he starts whining and she proceeds to say “he’s just a big baby” NOT ACCEPTABLE! My boyfriend and I didn’t say anything as we were in complete shock to what she just did. We come to pick him up the next morning and dr berry actually did a great job on his ears but the next day they were so swollen and infected which wasn’t a huge deal because he did just get them cropped. We go back two weeks later to get his stitches out and our pup was scared to death of these people! Trying his very best to get away from them. He isn’t like that towards anyone there is no telling what they did to our baby while we weren’t around. They told me to come back to get his ears posted within a week that they need time to completely heal. (keep in mind we are still going to berry at this point because he did the surgery and we figured he knew best about his work) So we go back for posting the vet techs put these popsicle sticks so far down into his ear with so much glue!! Not to mention they wrapped his ears way too many times with the tape where he couldn’t get any kind of air flow into them. Now his ears are swollen, green, and all around just infected!!! They didn’t tell us his ears weren’t healed enough to get them posted they just proceeded to do it anyway and didn’t send any type of medicine home with us!! They do not treat people or animals with respect. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE!!

Can I say Love ❤️ I love this veterinarian for my multiple dogs! Every interaction has been positive I love them! They care about my babies and I know it sounds insane to travel an hour and a half for the vet but when they care like this, they have a customer for life.

Got there an hour before they opened and glad I did! There was already a line. Super popular place with fellow pet parents. Dr was professional and didn't try to sell me a bunch of treatments and stuff we didn't need. Examined my fussy feline, diagnosed, prescribed, and got us out the door quickly. She is now all better and back to her normal self. Will most certainly be coming back with the rest of the "kids".

I really don't know how to rate this place, but I can tell you I was very upset. All the ratings are very high on their website. However I guess my visit is just one of those situations. I dropped my dog off to get spayed. She was clean and smelled good when I left her there. When I picked her up the next day she was muddy on all four legs her belly and tail, and had crusty fur and the stink was unbearable. I don't know where and how they kept my dog overnight. When I picked her up I was pretty disgusted on how she looked so dirty and how she smelled so bad. Plus she had small scratches and red spots/small wounds all over her legs which I don't know what them are from. To have your pet end up like that after a surgical procedure makes you wonder about how clean it is where they work on your pets. I guess the only good thing I can say is that they are very reasonably priced, I guess that's why they are so busy.

My son Todd and his wife Belinda praise this Vet and hosp any time they are mentioned. They have the upmost respect and confidence in them. They are amazing according to them. They would never go anywhere else. Anytime vet is brought up Todd and/ or Belinda will tell them about Berry. Not only great with animals but they show sincere compassion to the pet owner. I know I would go there if I ever need to. Sincerely

We love Dr Berry, and so do our pups!! This is a true country vet, he cares and works long hours to make sure his customers are all helped! Also, he doesn't try to oversell you on procedures and stuff, which I've had other vets do. I drive quite a ways to get to him because he's an excellent vet with very affordable rates.

After being disregarded in an emergency situation in Rome, Ga, we rushed to Dr. Berry with a head injury to the face and eye to my American Bully. She was kicked in the face by a steer. Dr. Berry and staff rushed her in. They were well equipped for large dogs with drop down exam tables. I was able to stay by my dogs side during exam. They asked appropriate questions about aggression and how/what happened. After an overnight stay (that was reasonably priced), we got her home next day. We have a long recovery, but she will live. Thank you Dr. Berry and staff for treating my baby like she was their own! I highly recommend these folks. They aren’t out to break your wallet and actually see animals for more than money. ROME GEORGIA, your pets aren’t safe there. They're treated as income. I will NEVER go back to CCW

My frenchie was bred on September 7th and 9th, after confirming she was pregnant through ultrasound, I booked an appointment for her c-section. I was told that she would need a reverse progesterone test to know the exact date the puppies should be born from my initial vet. Dr. Berry insisted on scheduling for 60 days from the first breeding date which would have her due on November 6th. I am no expert, but thought he was. We arrived November 6th, my dog showed no signs that she was going into labor at all, we figured that if we had to reschedule great, and for them to let us know. They performed the c-section, my dog gave birth to 9 puppies. The puppies all died 2 days later, they appeared to be premature. He sent us home with antibiotics, no pain meds, and no after care instructions. We relied on the help of our breeder and the vet that performed her ultrasound and additional tests prior to. We couldn’t make any appt with the vet that oversaw her, so we chose Berry Animal clinic. Dr. Flynn performed the procedure, did not tell us whether there were any complications with either my dog, or the puppies so we assumed all was well. I have been attempting to get in touch with a doctor for the past 2 days, the receptionist says she keeps leaving notes but no one has returned my call. The communication is piss poor, and since I’m unable to get in touch with anyone I feel obliged to leave a review and report to the veterinarian board. I have recorded phone calls stating how Dr. Berry prefers to take the pups based off of bred date and not a progesterone test. I do have plans to sue because the emotional impact of it to me and my fiancé, as well as my dog is a lot and the practice does not seem to care or provide answers. I also asked if there were any notes, any signs of mastitis, etc. I should have gone with my first instinct to leave after smelling the foul odor (unlike any other of most vets) and the presence of roaches in the restroom. I understand he may be good at other things, but the care of pregnant dogs shouldn’t be one of them. Just wanted to let anyone who is deciding to have their dog seen for prenatal care. Also, most vets usually ask for shot records, past records, and it may have been helpful if they actually cared enough to know how many puppies she was having but no questions were asked. Just quick to butcher a dog, collect money, and send folks about their way. I would not recommend this practice to my worst enemy. Further more, she is now panting, whining, and digging…clear signs of labor. I do not understand why people are quick to make a buck instead of caring about the well being of innocent animals. Just sad all around.

They made sure my dog was comfortable the last week of his life, while also trying to save it following a misdiagnosis by another animal clinic. The staff was very compassionate and willing to give me updates when I would call 2 to 3 times per day. Would recommend this clinic.

Love this place. They take wonderful care of my fur babies and when one has to be put down they were wonderful too her on her final moments. My one single issue with the place is that it's hard to get them to answer the phones

I've been going here for 8 years and can't imagine going anywhere else. Dr Berry provides excellent care and truly cares about the animals.The one blemish on this establishment is how it is nearly impossible to get through on the phone. When finally getting through I am often placed on hold for upwards of 20 minutes. I have even had the phone just disconnected while waiting for someone to come back and answer a question. This is not a reflection of Berry himself, but the staff. May be a good idea to get a second line, or even better: have an online portal for refilling medications.

They are the most amazing veterinarians I have ever came across in my entire life. The vet actually cared enough to take extra time to make sure that my dog did not have any broken bones or anything dislocated. And I was amazed the service that I got. I thought I was gonna have to pay a lot more than what my bill came to. So if you haven’t visited them, please go the next time your baby needs a veterinarian. There was quite a bit of a wait but I love Dr. Berry. He treated my boxer for tetanus which is very uncommon. He knew exactly what it was and treated her. She's home now. Saved her life. He also comes out to treat the farm animals. Very reasonable on price. I highly recommend!

Very busy, very nice,and caring. Dr Berry helped me with my end of journey for my girl JuJu. I was sad, but I was able to stay with her and love on her while she went to sleep. They let me cry and love on her till I was going to be ok. All the staff were nice and understanding. I still drive from GA to the vet for all my animals.

Only had telephone contact with them, but I was very impressed with their compassion and empathy. Searching desperately for someone to provide at home euthanasia for our 10 year old 200lb Great Dane. The clinic manager took time to listen and tried diligently to help me. The veterinarian herself called me after she got out of surgery. She was kind, knowledgeable, and took time to listen well and try to explore options with me. Felt like a very good clinic choice for someone's beloved pets!

I've been using Dr. Berry for 39 years and have been very pleased with his treatment of my animals. He has always been very knowledgeable and has always asked the right questions in order to diagnose a problem. He's always been right, even when 2 other vets had misdiagnosed a particular animal, prior to me finding him. The only issue that I've ever had is that sometimes the office doesn't smell as clean as I would like, but that has nothing to do with his professional abilities. All In all, I wouldn't want to use anyone else! 😉

Mr Berry is amazing I took my Pitt in not expecting her to make it. He was very upfront and honest about everything. My baby was so sick and swollen she could hardly walk. I picked her up the next day she looked like a different dog. That was about 2 weeks ago and thanks to Dr Berry and his Staff she is walking shes alot smaller and she's got a fighting chance of making a complete recovery. I drove from out of state to save my baby and I'd recommend Dr Berry and his Staff to anyone they really care about there animals as if they were there own

Berry Animal Clinic of Piedmont is a great place to take your animals. They have very reasonable prices and even see farm animals and large outside animals (cows, horses and goats). Extremely nice staff!

Dr. Berry was very honest with us about our dog and sadly we had to euthanize her. Thank you for being honest and taking care of her. She will be missed.
