To expand on my rating from earlier in the year, Dr. Young is amazing and is now the doctor for all of our furbabies! I recommend him to everyone I know. Our cat had a serious medical condition that a previous vet made worse, on top of being rude and overcharging us. Dr. Young was immediately attentive and treated us like intelligent people, listening to what we told him about our cat's condition and taking every bit of it seriously. Because of his proactive and insightful approach, he was able to quickly diagnose our cat's issue and quickly schedule him for surgery. Dr. Young is a doctor who listens to his clients and also listens to his gut feelings, coupled with an obviously vast and modern knowledge of veterinary medicine. He is also great about educating pet parents and helping us understand how to do what's best for our pets. Even now when we drop by to buy food or medicine, he remembers our cat by name and asks how he's doing (he is doing excellent!) A doctor like that is worth his weight in gold!***Also, our cat was placed on prescription food. Their website gave us the ability to set up auto shipment once Dr. Young approved the order, so we don't have to rush to make the 40 minute drive to Piedmont each time we have to buy cat food.

Ace Vet , is the best ,most friendly and professional animal care in Calhoun county and the surrounding counties. My German shepherd loves going there and because of the great staffing. I would not take my animals anywhere else.

I have been here before..but I took out puppy today and she had fear based aggression.. I honestly went to get medicine to sedate her get her rabies but .. wow.. the staff and vet was soooo good it blew out minds! He sat on the floor with her and didn't give her eye contact..fed her treats... He picked her up on the table...and gave her the shot..this is Def not normal by any means for her...he did such a good job

My chihuahua was limping and screaming in pain. This veterinarian dropped what he was doing on a Saturday and met with us at his office. Absolutely the most caring veterinarian I have ever seen and I will never take my dogs anywhere else now.

A couple of weeks ago. Our Dolly Girl gave us a scare. She was very sick. We called Dr. Young’s office they were about to close. They told us to come on so they could see about Dolly. We didn’t leave until after 8 that night. Dr Young and his staff took excellent care of our sweet girl. She stayed in the hospital for 2 days. This Vet team was amazing. I have to brag on my veterinarian and his staff, Dr. A. J. Young My husband and I have had many visits since he opened one in particular, was our little Missy was attacked by a mean dog, and she could’ve died very easily, and Dr. Young took the time, and his staff also to help her in every way to recover, and she recovered fully thank God for his kindness and his knowledge. We have also had to say goodbye to a couple of our very old dogs this year it was tough, but they made the visit as comfortable as they could for us, which I am thankful for. Didn’t mean to say this all in one post, but I recommend this office highly for your sweet pets needs I assure you they will be taken care of the best they can thank you Dr. Young and to your staff for the great work you do. ♥️

Excellent customer service! My dogs went in today for their yearly vaccinations and for a grooming service. Out of all the groomers, and offices I have taken my Husky mix to they cleaned his coat the best! No muzzle needed either which I appreciate because he hates being muzzled.

Wishing could give him 10 stars Dr young is the best he will actually listen to you about your animals an not just act like you know nothing about animals like the older vets. Also his staff are also very caring an also willing to help any way they can. I won't take any of mine to anyone else my little man he was having seizures due to his condition an he did prepare me for the worst. But he did all he could when I wouldn't give up an thanks to Dr young we made it threw it an now my mini Chihuahua is back to his old self thinking he's a Rottweiler.

Brittany does an outstanding job grooming dogs. Not only did she groom my Yorkie like I wanted, Brittany made my dog feel comfortable and my Yorkie wasn’t terrified when I picked her up like she was at a previous place I carried her. Go see Brittany when you need your pet groomed!! You won’t regret it!!

Today was my first time bringing a pet to Dr. Young. Unfortunately it was for the worst thing possible. My husband and I had to have our cat put to sleep. From the first phone call yesterday until we left the office today everyone I spoke to was so helpful and understanding. Dr Young spent 20 minutes or more talking to us about our cats sickness before starting the procedure. He eased our minds about having to have it done. He will definitely be the Dr. that sees our other cat from now on.

⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My dog must have ingested something he shouldn’t have and became very dehydrated and weak. I rushed him to Dr. Young who quickly administered IV fluids and gave him medicine to stop the nausea and vomiting. He kept Toby overnight and the next day I got my silly, jumping, active dog back. Highly recommend.

AJ and the staff are amazing with my furbabies and to me. AJ treats my babies as if they're his own. He tells you everything before doing anything, explaining costs and is very detailed and also extremely knowledgeable. He knows how to explain things in a simple way that makes sense. He won't do anything that isn't necessarily needed unlike some veterinarians will. He'll always get approval from you before proceeding, and he is an overall wonderful person. I will not use anyone else for our vet needs.
