After going to Columbus Home Depot (which was awful) , I appreciate the one that's closer and has better customer service. They are always nice and greet you in Phoenix City, they offer assistance and have helped with projects.

I’ll never order from them again. I’m in a bind with a lost card and they not have 500 on a cashapp account in the meantime. I made a $460 order and they cancelled it a couple hours later and I won’t have my money back for 3-5 days now. Seems strange to me cause it surely never takes them that long to take their money when I make an order. I’ll now be nearly a week behind on my work or when my replacement card shows up (whatever happens first). Essentially I just loaned them all my money. If I got my order today I would have more money today. Instead I’ll sit here with nothing money or material wise. They screwed me, bad. Home Depot lost a customer, I guess I’ll try Lowe’s out

Bought a Weber S-335 gas grill. It had to be ordered and I asked that it be sent to the store and assembled before delivering to me at home. Our salesperson, Tina was very helpful and if she did not know something she went and found the right answer. Jerry rang us up. Well the unassembled grill was sent to my house, I told them to take it to home depot which they did with no problem. Jerry personally called me to apologise for the mixup and told me when it would assembled and delivered. Well they had a problem with the delivery vehicle on the day I was supposed to get. Guess what? Jerry personally delivered the grill in his personal pickup truck. All outfits have problems and when those problems are rectified quickly and courteously it gives me an even better faith in the company and their personnel that if there had been no problems. I was very happily surprised by Jerry's personal attention and solution to the problems.Jerry, you deserve a raise!

Purchased a refrigerator to be delivered and installed that was in stock. Stopped by after work and waited 30 mins to confirm it was gonna be delivered the following day. Was told that they would deliver between 8 am and 6 pm. Stayed at home all day and 330 came around and they haven't showed up yet. Attempted to call the store with no one answering the phone. After the 8th attempt someone finally answered my call. I was informed that they didn't even have the refrigerator that I purchased that was listed " in stock". Why didn't anyone call and inform me that it wasn't being delivered? I was there the evening before ro make sure everything was good. This is the only Saturday that I have off for the next 2 weeks and I wasted my time waiting for something that I bought and they didn't even have. Never again home depot, ypu lost a loyal customer. Lowes here I come .UPDATE: called Lowes this morning and someone actually answered the phon and they have the same Refrigerator delivered and installed this Sunday also was way cheaper than HOME DEPOT.

Sam and Sandy , Homer and Jordan. Homer made sure I was welcome coming in and going out. Jordan, helped me find tape without making me feel stupid and with a beautiful smile. Sam and Sandy are great duo of beauty and hospitality. I'm visiting from out of town., but I will go out of my way to come back here because of their amazing service.. Names worth remembering because they all gave service I'll always remember. God bless.

I have 5 star experience every time I go here, and for the record its like 20 years!! this last time i did a online order and opted to do curbside pick up! I am not a lazy mofo, I just had some foot and ankle issues this week...so!I waited 30/40 mins, no one came out, I did the whole online thing of checking in picking your car color blah blah blah!!! We do a Walmart pick up like once a week, its easier with kids!!!!anyway....I finally went in stood in line again waiting for another 15 and then got my order from the counter.if you cannot deliver on your promise why even offer it???? makes no sense to me

I love this HD. Jason in doors knows his stuff. Although, while waiting for Jason to show up, I shopped. It was a good hour, which meant the loss prevention guy followed me around because, apparently, I looked suspicious. I don't know what is suspicious about waiting for a guy. Anyway, I worked intel and I can tell you that the dude gave himself away. He isn't as good at his job as he thinks he is, acting like he was shopping light bulbs. He could've made a gal feel real uncomfortable, and seemed like a stalker. What an uncomfortable shopping experience for a veteran with anxiety too. Thanks HD. (Eyes Roll). I know you have a job to do, but do it better, jeesh.

I've had many experiences with this store, most were average or below. This time I went in for one item I needed for a project over site. After going to the section where I thought the item would be, I encountered an employee sitting on a stack of materials "on their phone" and asked them where the item I was looking for was. They barely looked up from their phone and said no and continued what they were doing.After asking three other employees where the item I was looking for was, I finally found one that actually knew what it was..... It was a field drain pipe, found in the garden section.I thought this plastic pipe was way overpriced, considering it was made in china... but this is what you pay when you are in a hurry.

Would like to share with you our experience with Home Depot, Phenix City, Al. I have waited a long time to write this review hoping it would get better. But apparently it hasn’t. Here is my story:It has been ongoing for 10 months now. I cannot express my frustrations enough for the poor service we have experienced. No one calls you back when you leave a message. The project consisted of all new windows for the whole house. So it was not a cheap job. Cannot get in Touch with Home Depot corporate. This whole experience has been a joke … never again!So if you are looking at a new windows for your home you might consider looking somewhere else.Frustrated customer!!!!

I do not like self check out, especially with lumber and wire. It is always hard to find help and some of the workers have bad attitudes. But once in awhile we get good service.

Home Depot is one of those stores you always have to go to. The one in my area in Phenix City is beyond slow. They have a lot of women working. The registers are always full. There is a lack of men working that can help with pick up orders. Every time I come to Home Depot a young woman or a woman in general has to help me load my truck. Most of the time the objects to me should be handled by a gentleman. I've had to wait an hour for my product just to get home and still didn't get my entire order. Very understaffed.

Went to Home Depot in Phenix City looking for kerosene could not find it, asked a gentleman, at the desk by lumber he said it was by the front wall, Halloween decorations was there, he asked another gentleman that worked there he said yes it's right here he took me to paint thinner acetone and lacquer thinner, he asked the gentleman at the paint station he said it's on a pallet on the top shelf, ok good can I get a gallon he said sure give me 5 minutes, 20 minutes later I asked the gentleman at the paint station where did he go, he called him he was off somewhere else, needless to say I never got my kerosene and I guess from now on I will shope at Lowes because home depot will never get any of my business again

One of the cashiers (Beatrice) really rude. She always treats badly. I am not sure if she is racist but that is what it looks like, cause she does not do the same to other customers. If she cant treat people the correct way, she should get retrained or consider another job.

Went around 8:30 this morning to look for stove. Found one and had some questions. 2 other customers were asking for help also. Finally someone stopped and told us that the people who worked in appliances didn’t come in until 9:00!!Why open early if no one can help you in certain areas(i.e. appliance)?Poor customer service!!!!!

Awesome shopping experience. The staff was very friendly helpful and very accomodating. The prices were great too! I was really impressed.11.05.2022Home Depot is a great home improvement store with massive inventory but just not enough employees. However when you do get an employee it is usually one with vast knowledge in their area and they do not mind sharing it with you. I like that. I am preparing to purchase a front door and have them install it so I will post another review once that is completed. So far so good...😀06/17/2023Another great shopping experience. I am learning to ask for help at the front desk instead of trying to figure it out myself😉...I told the front desk rep what I needed. The employee came right away and got me exactly what I needed. The whole transaction took less than 10 minutes and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. Definitely my go-to for these type purchases.😀
