If I could give a 0 star review I would. If you are choosing a pharmacy it is best to look elsewhere. This organization has lost my business, my family's business and whomever I can inform about them. I'm absolutely appalled by the way they operate. I should have read the other reviews here before choosing this organization for their services. I WILL NOT be making the same mistake again!

Currently waiting on a prescription for a toddler boy that was called in hours ago. They are the SLOWEST pharmacy I have ever been to. Do not recommend. 0/5 stars. If you have insurance that can be used somewhere else, do yourself a favor and go there instead!!

Absolutely refuses to answer the phone regardless of the time of day you call. They let the phone ring and ring until you get tired of calling. I had time to drive there while calling them repeatedly from Vincent,Al just to find out that my prescription wasn't at this location and it was supposed to be.

Walgreens has been great so far!! They have been extremely helpful and nice about everything! They do stay pretty busy so plan ahead!

My prescription has just vanished over night and they are blaming the computer. This has been a problem for year them being out of stock on narcotic grade medicine. Although the supervisor answer is I don't know as a supervisor she should know and confirmed there is a way to delete medicine out of people's fill after it is filled. They have a drug attic stealing medicine and treating customers like its thier fault.

I am so frustrated right now I am in tears. I have a sick child who desperately needs medication. I go to pick it up and find the pharmacy is drive through only. That is inexcusable. There were 16 yes SIXTEEN cars in line. So after waiting for 40 min with 3 hostile children one of which is miserably sick. I gave up and now have to go back AGAIN and get the medication for my sick child.There's no reason for this. Absolutely NONE

I called in a refill prescription at 9am and it said it would be ready at 11:30 am.I waited until 3:30 to come pick it up. I waited in line for 20 minutes just to be told it was not ready and I needed to pull back around and they would get it ready. Just to pull back around and be behind 4 more cars. I wish it would allow me to give zero stars.....

I went to the Pell City Walgreens last night to fill prescriptions for my son who had spinal surgery yesterday afternoon. When I arrived at 740, the pharmacy tech with multi-colored hair was behind the counter on her cell phone. It took her a few minutes to acknowledge that I was standing at the counter. When she finally came to the counter she looked at the prescriptions and said it would be tomorrow morning before they would be ready. I told her that he had surgery and could not go all night without pain medicine. She told me they still couldn't fill them because there were 100 prescriptions ahead of his. She suggested that I take them to CVS because she got off in 20 minutes and they weren't going to fill them. I explained that I have been a nurse for 38 years and this was poor patient care. If there was a lower score than 1 star I would give it. They deserve a negative 5. The CVS pharmacist happily filled the prescription. My recommendation is for this store to close if they have this little compassion for their patients!! Or do a complete staffing change and start over!! Absolutely pathetic customer care!!

This pharmacy is the worst. Took a prescription for pain meds in after oral surgery at 4pm. Was told they wouldn't get to it til tomorrow. Couldn't fill 12 pills in 4 hours? Person at counter says " you can see we're busy". No, I see only me here and 2 other employees standing around talking about b.s. I went the next day to get the meds ( when I needed them the night before) and waited about 25 min to be helped with only 1 person ahead of me. I know Slowgreens doesnt care, but I'm switching pharmacies. These people are rude, dumb, and uncaring. If you're that busy, hire some people. Shouldn't be difficult, since you set the bar so low.

Pell city Alabama… lady @ the drive through asked for her medicine & the cashier says to her “the doctor just sent it in, we’ve only had it 10 minutes & it won’t be ready till 11am) and she drove off but the cashier continued talking & says “10 minutes, just 10 minutes, she just left the doctors office 10 minutes ago, the nerve she has to think we would have her prescription filled. The nerve of her, the nerve of some people.” I took the issue to the store manager and he said they act like it’s all me me me & he turned to deal with it before I got to finish what I was telling him. He was annoyed beyond annoyed. I don’t blame him. I’ve come to the pharmacy with a prescription when I’ve been sick and wishing they would fill it fast cause I’m so sick & just want to feel better. I thought they might be busy when it took a bit of time but after listening to her complaining & her heartless & nasty gestures, I realize it’s not how busy they are, but how selfish they are. Walgreens is a big box store & they will be just fine without me but I am leaving. I just want a small town pharmacy. I want a caring inconsiderate staff.

I left my prescription the day before it was due I go to get it the very next day well it's not ready the girl at the window was very very hateful I don't appreciate that at all I assume when you leave a prescription the day before it should be filled I didn't come to get it till after 12:00 the next day I don't like paying somebody that's going to be rude to me that don't get it with me. The the person at the window the first time I went around was the pharmacist she was very rude if I knew some other place that would fill my prescription I would not come back

I hate this Walgreens and stopped doing business there years ago. Today I used the drive through to pick up a prescription for my niece, at 1:30. There was one car ahead of me and after waiting 10 minutes 2 cars pulled in behind me. Shortly afterwards I decided to call Walgreens to find out what the problem was. I was told that the pharmacy closes from 1:30 to 2:00 for lunch!Who closes an entire department in a retail store so everyone can go to lunch at the same time?I was completely boxed in and couldn’t leave until approximately 12 people finished their lunch break!The only sign with that information on it was taped to the far end of the drive through window. The only person that could see it was the driver in the car ahead of me. This behavior only confirms my belief that no one within this company gives one darn about their customers!

I placed 4 prescriptions and your staff only gave me three and when I called they were very rude and inconsiderate. If you mess up you fix it and they were not even compassionate I had surgery and need that medicine can be life or death don’t trust these people with your family’s care. Worst customer service ever. Everyone support our LOCAL PHARMACIES from now on!

Prices are a bit high, and the pharmacy is so slow, even when they gave me a time to pick up my medication, I still had a 8 to 10 minute wait.Then they have a attitude,if you question why your having to wait.

Avoid this store, cashier doesn’t come to the register then they overcharge you for everything when the sales are advertised and then they say oops. My purchase was twice as much as it should have been. Stopped in here to be quick not take forever on 4 items and argue the price.

Just had a frustrating experience today. I ordered a in store pick up and received a confirmation. When I get to the store to pick it up, no one knows anything about it. The amount was debited from my account. I called the corporate number and I was told to call the store to cancel the order. I cancelled the order but still no refund. I called customer service and they said the order was cancelled and the charges were reversed. I checked again, still no refund. 0 stars.

The worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with! The locally owned pharmacy I was using closed so 2 months ago I moved my prescriptions to this Walgreen's. BOTH TIMES, last month & this month, I've gone to pick up my script the medicine was out of stock which means I have to go DAYS without it. Not only that, it pushes my fill date back which is supposed to sync up with my doc appointment... & the staff are not caring or sympathetic.... it's just a job to them & clearly doesn't phase them AT ALL... The least they could do is apologize for the inconvenience but no... cant even do that... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!

Terrible pharmacy. They always advertise 30 minutes to fill a prescription. When you wait 45 minutes to and hour to pick them up they are still not ready and then they tell you it will possibly be another 30 minutes before it’s ready. It is just ridiculous time management and they need to do better.

Other area Walgreens are a pleasure to shop with. The girl checking us out today left a lot to be desired. She barely said anything to us, then had to inquisition us about our return, and gave us looks. Only gave 2 stars because the store looked good.

I’ve been using Walgreens pharmacy for four months and not one time have I had a pleasant experience. I would call to see if my meds where ready they will tell me a certain time but when I would get there they would tell me it’s gonna be three more hoursAnd again when I would get there I’m told it will be another hou!r or so. I’m not happy with Walgreens so I’m taking my meds somewhere else. Thanks for nothing Walgreens but a waste of time!

Everytime I use the automatic phone serrvice to order refills, there is always a problem and at least one isn't filled and I have to wait for them to fill it or have to come back!!! On Wednesday August 24, 2017, I called automatic phone service to order my desvenlafaxine and the recording said "we recently tried to call you to see if you wanted your armodafinil its due to be refilled" I said yes, so it was to be ready after 11am that day. I got to the pharmacy and they said that I didn't have anything!!! I told her what I had ordered so she said I'll get it fixed, it will take a few minutes! When it was ready, she said she only had part of meds in stock and would have to order it!!!! I took the partial prescriptions and left. Thursday I called and asked were the meds in and the lady said yes. I got there and only one was available. When I questioned her about the other medication she said it didn't come in. That night I called and spoke with a lady and asked her what time my meds would be there, cause I was going to Florida at 9am the following medicine, she said it would be after 10am. I told her I was leaving to go to Florida at 9am the next day. I then asked "why is it taking so long after you ordered it to come in? She said it's because it's a narcotic. So I went on to Florida. Now I had already received 5 pills, and you would think that they would have been on the look out for it!!!!!! so when I got home Monday I went to Walgreens to pick up meds, GUESS WHAT?????? NO MEDS!!!!!!!!! She had not explanation on invoice of why meds did not come in!!!!! And now I'm being told it will be in tomorrow.....we'll see!!!!!!!Update: I called to check to see if my medicine came in and the lady said no it still hasn't come in!!!!!! She said I'm going to give it one more day...I interrupted her and said tomorrow makes a week since you first ordered it and she said "it's because it's a narcotic (?)!!!!! I'm not a dummy, I don't know what they are doing but I will be changing pharmacies!!!!!!!

The bald shift starter/manager with the gray goatee told me I needed to "take my change accross the street because we are NOT a bank" then grabbed the 2 things I was purchasing and walked off I guess to the back or through the photo lab area door. I mean I know that's not ideal... But even as kids we are taught to save our change for the tough times... I just needed to buy my mother a birthday card and a soda. Wasn't like I was buying a cheap over priced drug store pair of glasses or anything.

I mean the store is clean and my pictures turned out great, but staff is not the friendliest. At least smile to your customers instead of acting like you don’t want to be there or we are bothering you. You don’t have to work here.

Pharmacy phone hangs up on you when you want to talk to pharmacy and the front of the store phone never answers. After 3 calls and 20 minutes of waiting for the phone to be answered I gave up and will take my money elsewhere.

I could not make it without the fine people at WalGreens especially the pharmacy department. My prescriptions are always ready and if I need information on a drug it is easy to get. I recommend them highly!
