I ordered a cake and was told it would cost $59.95 for the larger cake or $29.95 for the smaller one. I ordered the larger one but when I went to pay for it I was charged $79.95 plus tax. Plus the cake was very dry and very little filling between the layers. Very disappointed. For the amount I ended up having to pay, it should have been perfect. Will NEVER order that cake again. BTW, I had to take the cake although the price was more than I was quoted because I was on my way to a birthday party and I was asked to bring the cake.

Whoever is decorating the cakes needs to find and different job! If someone is spending $60 on a cake it shouldn’t look like a 10 year old decorated it! Very disappointed! I gave a whole week in advance to have this cake made. It doesn’t even look like the picture! Don’t waste your money!

I love the grocery store, but I will not be buying anymore chicken from the Deli. If it is marked "Plain" then it should not have spices on it that are hot. It should be plain. The last two we have bought have been so spicy I could not eat them. I'm sure I'm not the only person who cannot eat spicy foods.

The only local place to buy a Mardi Gras King Cake! The store was busy yet the aisles gave plenty of room. The floral department was filled with beautiful flowers. I didn't shop the whole store this visit,just the departments near the bakery. Everything was clean and bright. I was in a hurry and used the self checkout. The employee was courteous and smiled. The king cake was wonderful and fresh! The bakery department had inviting displays with prices clearly marked. I plan on returning when I'm not in a hurry to explore the whole store. I did notice some items were higher than my regular shopping preference, however items my store doesn't offer were available there. Next shopping trip I plan to include a leisurely trip through Publix to explore their offerings.

We have always loved and recommended Publix chicken, but the last couple of times our experience has not been good with the deli. Both times they informed me that fresh chicken was not available. The first time I was told that it would be over two hours before they cooked some more chicken. Tonight I called at 6 o’clock and asked if they would be some fresh chicken out around 7 o’clock. The gentleman that I talked to said he was not cooking anymore chicken tonight, but there was some chicken already out.In the past the people in the deli were very accommodating if you ordered some fresh chicken. Something has changed.It’s not the same!

My wife ordered a cake 2 days before for pickup Christmas Eve. No problem, they took the order. When I went to pick it up, they didn't have it and asked if my wife had called the right store. I told her we live in Pell City and don't use other Publix. She then said it happens all the time. I called my wife and told her they didn't have it and what the lady said. My wife then said, "I went in person, so I know I went to the right store." So I went back to the counter to get a red velvet, since we needed a cake, the lady asked if I found out what happened. I told her my wife came in person, so she had the right store. She apologized, but it still didn't change the fact that she made the assumption we didn't know what store we were at and that they didn't have the cake.

Beautiful environment, very clean with a wide assortment of items, some of which you might not find in other supermarkets. A little pricey for me but go in when Im in the area for their produce, cereal and a few unique single beers.

If you want it, Publix has it. Great selection, great store personnel. Down side, usually costs more than other stores.

It has always been a good experience so far with the quality and quantity of the food. Reasonable price and great customer service. We always get whole chicken and fish from here never disappointed. But I have one concern when it comes to butcher the whole chicken into small pieces. You guys do a good job with that but it's just that there is lot of bone fragments. I would suggest if the chicken was cut using a machine it would not have the bone fragments in it, its just my opinion.

The Custer service is spot on everytime. I love coming here. I know I will find what I need and get out in a timely manner no matter what. The smiles will turn a bad day around for sure.

Very nice staff. Clean store, but it should allow bagger to get tips if a customer feels they want to tip. Tried tipping a guy he refused to take because he would get in trouble with managers, but it's my money and I want to give it he should of been able to receive it.

I love this place. Sometimes pricey but if you use coupons it helps allot and they do plenty of those. Huge selection and the staff is awesome. The pharmacy was surprisingly cheaper than most and the ladies there are very patient and extremely helpful.

We found everything we were looking for and made it to the register fairly quickly. Got a laugh out of the creative way the staff were asking for donations. The staff were wearing laminated signs that stated thigs like "I'll meow for a $1 donation!" or "I'll give you a high five for a $5 donation!" Got to love a fun twist to get donations for a good cause.

Love Publix and their deli, but the pharmacy I have always had an issue with bc they can't seem to keep the main medication I take in stock and it's very frustrating. I have never had issues like this before until the past few months. There was an issue about a year ago with all the pharmacy techs being very rude but I believe there's a new staff bc I haven't had an issue out of this crew just not keeping medication in stock doesn't make sense.

Clean grocery store with so much more. No matter the time of day, busy or not, I get great customer service. I love their produce section, buy 1 get 1, and deli. I also love the help to get my groceries in the car on days when I am super tired!

I went to the deli and got a pub sub well actually a wrap and Mercedes killed it! She is so awesome!!!! It was seriously the best wrap I have ever eaten in my whole life. She chopped all the ingredients up for me and was so patient and polite.

Staff is always super friendly and the store is always neat and clean. We purchase most of our special occasion cakes from either here or the Rainbow City location because the cakes are delicious and their designs are always exactly what I ask for. Never had a cake from them that doesn't get completely eaten.
