I'm rarely in here but it's as good as other places. Their real draw is the meat department. Many cuts that you can only find here, especially odd cuts of pork which I love. It's weird though to see that a quarter of the store is wine, not exaggerating. I don't understand that concept since customers seeking neckbones aren't usually also looking for a particular vintage of Pinot noir.

My review of Fresh Value will start with the employees. I have had numerous opportunities to interact with employees in various departments in person and on the phone. Every employee has been very helpful and friendly with the exception of one lady who works at the front desk, who has been disinterested to the point of rudeness towards my needs as a disabled person.Next, It would be great if the store could be brighter, cleaner, and fresher smelling.I primarily shop at Fresh Value for their meat, cheese, and eggs. They have great sales on their meat products and have some items that I can’t find anywhere else. However, I bought some ribeye steaks and they were terrible. I won’t ever buy steak there again. Other meat I have bought from there has been very good! Food Club cheese is great! Weiss Lake eggs are great!!Sometimes they have good deals on produce, too. Especially on potatoes.So Fresh Value has its valuable place in my shopping routine. I would definitely recommend that you check it out for yourself and see if it’s a fit for you.

Really good prices on most items and always have specials. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. My grandson has to go to Fresh Value every time he is with me just to see the Man on the cooler and make sure everyone else sees him too.

First time going into this store and I was disappointed. I went to meat department to get some shrimps stood there for gazillion minutes and there was no associate[it happens] ; When I thought I was lucky, I sought help through another employee i explained I had stood there for gazillion minutes and all he rudely said was "Sharon is there"....I gave myself some few more minutes I got tired of waiting and left without purchasing.; I'll take my money somewhere else. Definitely not visiting the store gain.

nice store i go there very often but beware check the dates on some items they maybe expired or going to expire in a day or so. we have gotten a few out of date items but i gave them a extra star for the ammo machine up front great idea 100% love it and the deer corn

I felt like I saved money shopping here I found a lot of bargains and I haven't felt like that in along time everything has increased in price. And I honestly can not remember the last time I was helped loading my groceries in the car and they even took the cart back ! What what? Thank you Martha, Kelsey and Management for appreciating our patronage!

Busy! Well organized, plentiful stock, variety and quantity to choose from in abundance! Shoppers were moving efficiently, staff was present and helpful.A customer was struggling with a return and the cashiers were concerned for her, even asking a manager to come over to explain the process to her. That personable level of service is rare, I look for many more examples because this store and it's staff are my new favorite go to! Highly recommended.

Nice store. Friendly cashiers, stockers and other employees. Great sales at timesI've never really like the cost plus extra 10%, but I noticed today that they're still charging 10% tax on food with a sign on the door stating that the food tax got decreased to 1%

This place smells horrible! As soon as you walk through the double doors you can smell the old meat they sale. Never buy meat from here!!! If you look at the meat some of the meat is green! Also, if you buy ice cream be sure to check to see if has a seal! I bought a pint size Mayfield ice cream because it was on sale for $2.15. When I got home and took the top off there was no seal or plastic covering the ice cream. I threw the ice cream in the trash because I didn’t want to go back in that stinky store.I will never go back in that nasty, filthy, stinky store again!!! Shop there at your own risk!! You’ve been warned!!!

I used to shop here a long time ago. Just moving around from state to state, I could never really find another store that matched the quality of meats I got here, nor the price.If you're looking to get more food from your dollars, I highly recommend this place.It is older and the place could stand an update but that doesn't take away from the quality of food or the friendliness of the employees either as all are top notch in my book.Check them out, you'll be so happy you did.

Stopped by and got a few things quick, I said quick unlike the big store N. of I-20 that they get you in there and can't check out........ unlike Fresh Value!!!! Check them out if you haven't been in the grocery store👍❤🙏

I love Fresh Value ❤️ they're the only grocery type store that not only sells steamed and seasoned shrimp, but have a good variety to choose from. That alone gets them 5 stars from me lol but they're also always very friendly and helpful whenever I shop there 😊❤️

It was more of a check it out. They did have some good specials on different items. I bought a few things. My daughter bought a lot. She was very pleased with total cost at check out. Just to far to go to get groceries. Only will go back when they have a really good special deal. Very clean and great service.

I love shopping here always find good deals.. Just wish they would go back down on the Price of Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla ice cream was $599 now almost $7 This price was why I started shopping here. I was so disappointed to see it went way up. Also the Employees are so nice !

Hello. This was my mother an I's first time in this store and I tell you it felt like we were on a field trip. All of the employees were kind, polite and very helpful. The store was neat and very clean. I am not a fan of the Cost Plus 10 but we will be coming back. We traveled about 35+ miles to visit this store and we will be back. Shout out to Ricky and Joseph in the meat department for displaying excellent customer service.

Nice clean store, great prices and selection. The manager was helpful in assisting me in finding an item they did not have but he was helpful in suggesting a substitute. Great experience with no complaints and I would patronize it again if I am in the area.

I love this store: the prices, the cleanliness, the friendliness, and the Christian music playing while I shop. The only complaint I have is that it's always so cold. Seriously, I would stay in the store longer and buy more if weren't so desperate to seek warmth. I can't give 4 1/2 stars, and overall I do like it, so it gets 5. :)

UPDATE. Aug 27,2021For a while all was good with bagging my groceries. Today: No! I do wish management would take the time to MAKE SURE the cashiers know how to properly bag groceries!! This has been a problem before and I actually went in and spoke to them about it. NEVER, EVER PUT COLD FOOD IN A BAG WITH NON-COLD ITEMS!!!!!!!!!!I found my cheese in a bag with spaghetti sauce and canned spam! I don't always put canned items away immediately. COLD ITEMS SPOIL if not refrigerated!Other than that, I really like this store a lot. They will never get a 5 star rating from me as long as this problem exists though! Reducing to 3 stars due to ongoing issueThis is a pretty good grocery store!!! They keep it well stocked with a good variety of items. The produce and meats look good every time I have been there. Prices are really good I think. The only real complaint I could see, was that the woman who bagged our groceries last time did a poor job of it! I put all my cold foods together so that I can put them away immediately when I get home. My energy level is low due to chemo treatments so I have to rest sometimes to the next day. I found a can of my biscuits in with the canned vegetables the next day; ruined of course. She put other cold foods in the wrong bags as well but I discovered them in time. Bread should ALWAYS be bagged standing on end in the bag! If it is laid down it will almost always get smashed and I hate smashed bread! I went back and they were nice and willing to make the biscuits good. The main thing I wanted was for them to address with their employees, the proper way to bag groceries. They assured me they would do so.
