I only go to Lowe's if I have a gift card.I had an experience about a year ago that pushed me away from Lowe's.A young acosociat convinced me to get a credit card saying my purchase would be 100.00 off. This was not the case.In front of the manager, she said she told me that. My wife and I both heard her.Emailed Corporate, "Sorry" No credit, no anything. The person still works there but not sure where.I gave three stars as people were nice when I used my gift card.Update: I received a response to this review and was asked to call Lowe’s.I did so, and after a short wait, I spoke with Cameron. She was very friendly and very sincere in wanting to help me.I was very impressed and pleased 😀Cameron did resolve my issue and made me feel important and cared about during the process. I will be shopping at Lowe’s againThank you, Cameron!!!

Our fridge went out so we bought a refrigerator from this store because they said they could deliver it in 2 days (Thursday). The morning of the delivery I got an email saying I needed to reschedule. Called store and got absolutely no help or explanation. Rescheduled it for Saturday. Friday afternoon I got a text saying it would be delivered on Monday. Finally got to talk to someone in the delivery warehouse and they said they didn't even know if Monday would happen as they didn't even have this model in inventory and was waiting on supplier. Lowes sold and quoted me a 2-day fridge delivery on something they didn't even have!!! Should have gone to Home Depot. Will NEVER shop here again!!!

bought a new samsung washer with warranty. It has been out of balance from the beginning. Repair man "not in your area for two more weeks" and the store says no exchanges. Would I be able to do my laundry at the store?

I don’t know about other locations, but this Oxford store is absolutely horrific. Bought a brand new stove/refrigerator set and waited two weeks for it to be delivered. Delivery guy was extremely rude and impatient and tried everything he could to keep from having tobring the refrigerator in the house even though he was paid to do so, simply because he had to come up 3 stairs and it was a tight fit. Gets it in the foyer and refuses to install it in the kitchen like he was paid to do and leaves. My wife and I installed it ourselves and guess what? The ice maker doesn’t work and there is no water to the door. Lowe’s refuses to do anything about it because 48 hours has passed. Has their delivery/install people stayed and hooked it up like they were paid to do, they would have seen right then that It didn’t work and they could have swapped it out. Now the GE repairman has come out and had to order $1200 of parts and we have to wait another 2 weeks for them to come in. Also the freezer has quit working and all of our food has thawed out. Lowe’s refuses to swap it out or do anything since it’s been over 48 hours. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE. They are rude, impatient, and simply hard to deal with. Will never order anything else from them. Like a billion dollar corporation could care but still, I won’t.*** Also, they brought the wrong stove. We called them to let them know and guess what they did? Said oh, that one is more expensive. We will have to run your card for the difference. Should have just kept my mouth shut instead of being honest.

Got email at 1:10 p m that my order ready for pickup. Arrived at lower by 1:20 p m but order was not ready for pickup. Finally picked up order at 2:35 p m. Waited at Lowe's for 1 hour 15 minutes for pickup that was said to be ready at 1:10. Unacceptable will think about that if when I order another appliance from Lowe's. Maybe home Depot can do better.

Very bad service, I bought a riding Lawnmower, was notified it was ready to be picked up , I drove 45 miles to.pick it up , it wasn't ready , I was told they couldn't get it to crank , after a 2 hour wait with my pregnant daughter waiting in the truck , they finally told me it would be 15 minutes. After another 45 minutes later , they got my Lawnmower ready but they did offer me a bottle of water for my troubles, very disappointed.in the service

Customer service is non-existent. Recent products I've bought all had missing pieces or broken material inside the box. It's really just a waste of time & money going to Lowe's now.

I am going to fill in a little for Austin Kirby. Two days after the awful delivery experience, Lowe’s sent out their install people to check out the ice maker. After looking at the hookup that my son had to do, they advised that it was installed correctly and that Lowe’s would just have to send another refrigerator out. Lowe’s own employee advised that he would advise management that a new refrigerator was needed. I was there and witnessed his statement myself. That was within 48 hours of the delivery. We thought problem was handled and, based on the person Lowes sent out there recommendation, the refrigerator would be replaced.We called a few days later to see when the unit was going to be replaced and were told that our request was outside the 48 hour period to report problems and have the unit replaced. That started all of the GE repair deal and while waiting on the unit to be repaired, the freezer and refrigerator have stopped working spoiling everything in the fridge. I purchased a separate standup freezer, from Home Depot by the way, to keep their frozen goods from ruining.Lowe’s called our number last night and we could not get to the phone before they hung up. Left no message and when I called back, no one knew who called. Waited on the phone for over an hour total before finally speaking to someone. After speaking to that manager it was apparent that the account had not been notated with all of our calls and events that had occurred.In my opinion, this is completely unnacceptable way to run your business and if the problem is not remedied with a new unit this next week, Lowe’s will be getting a demand letter from my office. I didn’t go to law school for nothing.

This store wont refund my haul away fee for an appliance they never hauled away. We ordered a refrigerator ,it arrived damage twice. So we cancelled the order all together , now they don't want to refund the entire amount.

It's organized and easy to find products. I used to always visit this lowes but I will buy my products from Anniston from now on if i need help. I pressed the button for help and waited 15 minutes and two employees walked by and turned the help button off while I was waiting to be helped and walked off.

I want to start off by saying first of all I love lowes... but the manager named Brian at the Oxford location needs to be looked into. I have spent about 1000.00 at the store in the past 2 weeks doing some improvements on my home an yard. The first night i was there i found a sink faucet on clearance so I brought it to the front desk for a price check the box is torn a little and on the box was written guest bath. After the manager got there he acted like i had torn the Box myself an wrote on it saying all the parts are here this wasn't on clearance... After assuring him i diff would do that. He just said i can give u a small discount.. Like he was doing me a favor?? So i just let that go put it back an left... With my remaining item's... I went back a few days later.. I was shopping an found some faucets on sale so i had a employee come help me make sure it would fit my measurements an if he any anymore good deals ect. I asked to see the display an everything but i was told bc its on sale now they took the display down already. So i decided to buy it. Well when i got up there to purchase this with all my other things i was told it wasnt on sale.. okay at this point I had known where I saw it was a sale in the middle of the aisle in a cardboard box with a bunch of them there the price And all.. (Pics added) so I asked the manager to come back with me so I could show him as we got back there he said that was for a different item the other thing that was sitting there beside which they were both 3-piece sets and it says on their bathroom faucet so it's false advertisement.. hey told me they could price change anything in Alabama that he didn't have to have a certain price or a tag on anyting. So rude to me hey you're not care that the price was definitely wrong and would not give it to me before they correct price and I saw we need to have better management here at the Oxford Alabama location and maybe I would spend money there as well as my family who ownes businesses.. And spend alot of money at lowes. Also if u look below it does say 3 peice set but shows both items as a 3 peice set.. Also both barcodes are on the box an everything with one price??? Plz if anyone things i seen this wrong do reply..

If you need something Rodney will find it! The store website showed there was plenty of inventory but only one of the items I needed was on the shelf. Customer Service and Rodney were so helpful - he searched an area of at least 75 boxes and in just a couple of minutes was able to find exactly what I needed. Such amazing service! It allowed me to finish my new floor project and cover my vents.

What can I say its a big box DIY store which is good they have a large variety of goods to enhance you home and its environment, from basic landscape,to ever expanding smart home technology. I always learn new things with every visit.

I have been trying to locate my receipt to do my Lowes survey but can't find it! Anywho, the Customer Service was AMAZING! Everyone was so knowledgeable, friendly, caring and patient. Especially Xavier, Kevin (maybe it was Kelvin) and Ms. Karen! I can't remember the name of the other lady who helped us but honestly, everyone there was so nice! We will certainly be back just because we know we'll be in good hands.

I finally found someone at 9 at night, who fixed my problem with the countertops. The person I spoke with was very nice and knowledgeable. If all employees knew Lowes policies this could have been avoided.

Need more customer service Guess they have a employee shortage.Don’t ever buy anything with a warranty here. We bought a freezer with a warranty. Freezer quit days after we got it. Took it Back and was told we Couldn’t. Had to call a number for warranty. Took HOURS to get someone to answer. Took the dead freezer back home and had to dispose of it ourselves. Finally after a couple months got our money back but if I had not kept food receipts of things we bought for the freezer we would not have been reimbursed for our food we lost.

Bianca (flooring) is awesome. She set up an appointment to have them come measure, to give estimate. We have now purchased a luxury plank flooring for our kitchen and dining room. We also finalized a carpet purchase for our living room.Justis (appliances) is terrific. He made sure they had the dishwasher we wanted in the store before we purchased, keeping us from having to wait on the unit being ordered.Both cared about us as their customers.

100 degrees outside and I needed some Creeping Jenny to complete a flower pot. Walked in Lowe’s and looked around. I did not see one employee to ask for its location. I walked ba k up to the register and asked the lady where I could find Creeping Jenny. She quickly replied, “I dont know what that is.” I asked if she could call someone up to help me. She said if you see a lady in a blue hat, she may know. I walked around for quite some t8mw and saw no one. Lucky me, I ran into the cashier again talking to another customer. I then asked if she could call someone for me. She told me I would just have to walk around until I found it! I had made a couple of other purchases and went to check out. A nice girl asked me if I found everything I needed. I told her I did not and explained my issue to her. She said, “Do you want me to look it up for you?” I told her no thanks. What has happened to customer service? Why couldn’t the first girl look it up for me?

Great selection good prices... but don't expect something to actually be IN STORE just because it says in stock online. I love their clearance isle! Lucked up and purchased a FLEX drill kit w/TURBO mode for $119 (originally $249) I've always preferred Dewalt or Bauer (surprisingly) but this FLEX line is awesome!!! 💪

I have been in the process of remodeling my house and I swear I've been teetering on the brink of insanity for a month now, so naturally, I've been doing everything I can to make it harder on myself to clear things lol That also means that I can't just settle for anything, so I've been back and forth between Lowe's, Home Depot, and Ace Hardware because I've gotten to the stage where it's time to choose a color I'm comfortable with staying at forever. I've come to the opinion that Lowe's easily has that most variety in product. However, that isn't why I'm writing a review for this particular Lowe's. The reason I'm writing this is because this Lowe's has the absolute best employees I've encountered since I started my remodel 5 months ago. There was one gentleman in particular that, besides me rushing in 5 minutes before they closed, was so patient, attentive, and helpful that I truly wish I could remember his name to put here. I felt so bad for coming in so close to closing and I knew he wanted to go home, but when I tell y'all he knew I was uncertain about my decision but I didn't want to hold him up so I tried to pick whatever, he made it a point to let me think clearly by actually helping me choose what was right for my project. He even told another employee that we weren't done yet so I'd still be able to check out (15 minutes after closing) without regretting that I didn't just wait until they opened the next day. I'll update my review with pictures because he made all the difference and doesn't even know what his patience did. I'm doing this entire remodel by myself, and this gentleman made a large project a lot less infuriating.
