10/10 recommend KRoberts K9! Braden and Kellen were a great help, and we were happy when we found them. Training with them was an excellent investment for our two dogs.They are a great resource to have in this area and were able to take a difficult situation with two dogs and return to us calmer, more focused pets. Day-to-day life is now much more enjoyable, and everyone is a lot happier.We looked forward to the weekly visits, and they each did a great job of coaching us on the proper techniques to use with the dogs. Braden worked one-on-one with me. He was very thorough during the training session and gave clear instructions for handling and walking with the dogs. He immediately showed me how to handle and respond to her so she would stop pulling and correct any nervous behavior, such as barking and growling. Braden always addressed my questions in a friendly manner, always very kind and professional, and has been super responsive and supportive even after taking our dogs home.I want to thank Braden and Kellen for all the work they have done for us and the impact it has had on our family. We recently moved into an apartment complex and realized Theo was extremely anxious and aggressive towards other dogs. He got into a fight with a dog in the park and we knew we had to get things under control so that we wouldn’t get kicked out or have rehome our dog Theo. We heard about Kroberts K9 from a friend that put their dog through the advanced obedience program and had nothing but great things to say about it so we reached out to Kellen and decided to put Theo through the program. This was the best decision we could have made for Theo and ourselves. Kellen did a great job in explaining why Theo was acting this way and how to correct it as well as the things I could do better to help Theo be successful. Theo before and after training is night and day and I can’t thank Kellen enough. He gave us the tools we needed to make sure Theo knew what was expected of him and help with his anxiousness and aggression. We are continuing training everyday after Theo returned home but he is a lot more confident and calm now that he has completed the program. It’s helped with his quality of life because now I can take him to more places with me and dont have to worry near as much about his actions because Kellen taught me how to keep control. Again I can’t thank Kellen and the Kroberts team enough. If you are having trouble with your dog or just want to have a great and obedient dog then this is the guy to take them to!!

Where do I start? If I could give 100 stars, I would!Our dogs went to Kroberts with quite a lot of reactivity issues to both dogs and people, as well as some aggression issues towards each other. We were absolutely at our wits end with how to handle our two dogs, Bruce - a german shepherd mix, and Olaf - a pitbull. Their reactivity had gotten so bad that it was escalating into fights between the two that we were afraid one day couldn't be broken up. We rapidly realized within only about a week of Olaf and Bruce being with Kellen and Braden that our household did not have nearly enough structure that these boys required. We were letting them get away with far too much and Kellen and Braden helped us realize that while still helping and showing us how to fix OUR behavior towards the dogs.The initial training session that we had with Braden and Kellen was a little nerve wracking because we didn't know what to expect, but they were both very thorough with their explanations of how certain things were going to go, very open to any questions we had, and very good at explaining why they made certain corrections once the training session began.Both Kellen and Braden have very calm energy when explaining how they train, why they train the way they do, and what end result they are working toward for the betterment of the dog and the owner. And of course, they celebrate when things go right because it's kind of a big deal!We've gained a lot of confidence already in leading our pack and they've only been home with us for a few hours as of today. I can't wait to see where this amazing training takes us. I can't say enough good things about this business and the family that runs it. They have truly changed our lives for the better.So, a massive thank you to Kellen, Braden, and team for helping us with our boys and teaching us how to be better owners. Thank you Kroberts K9!!! Kellen and Braden did a wonderful job training our 4yo shih tzu, Spike!! Spike had some fear aggression and was never friendly to other dogs, cats and "strangers". He spent 6 weeks @Kroberts and we are impressed with his transformation. Spike is more obedient, patient and so much calmer. We are able to take him out off-leash without worrying he will run away or attack our neighbor's cat.Braden was very professional and sent us regular updates on Spike's progress. They also provided tools and home instructions for smooth transition and continued training. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So glad we chose KRoberts K9 LLC for training our Murphy. It’s was a positive experience. Now I can go out with Murphy and he obeys commands. He’s sleeping in his crate at night. Before training I wouldn’t dare take him out without a leash. Now I can take him out in the yard and not worry about him running off!! I can go on and on about all the positives. They are the best! We can't say enough great things about our experience with Kroberts K9. We trusted Kellen with Bandit, our 7 mo old Belgian Malinois because from our very first conversations we felt we could trust him to help us better handle our situation. We also appreciated that he had experience with the breed.Bandit came back almost a completely different dog. We say almost because his personality was there - just with better "manners". No jumping, no chasing cats, and an all around well behaved pup.Kellen also gave us some great info (training us too!!!) on how to continue down our path to success... We would HIGHLY recommend!!

We did a significant amount of research before choosing a trainer for our boys Olaf (Pitbull) and Bruce (Australian Kelpie Mix). We began having some behavioral issues after moving here from Arizona. They were beginning to fight each other and fixate very negatively. Their reactivity was out of control. We couldn't go anywhere without being pulled to the ground with their reactivity. Leash walking was impossible. Being in public was more impossible. Then, the fighting turned violent with Bruce losing a piece of an ear during the final fight.Enter Kroberts K9, LLC. Kellen and Braden - the Subject Matter Experts - took these anxious, misbehaving boys and turned them into more calm and controllable, happier dogs. Their 6-Week Board and Train program is intense - and it's HARD to trust the process - but TRUST THE PROCESS. DO THE WORK. Let me repeat - TRUST THE PROCESS and DO THE WORK. It's worth it in the end. It's a lifestyle change for us as humans too - one that is beneficial for everyone and every dog involved.Kellen and Braden set up a group chat for us and kept us updated periodically through their training. They endlessly reassured us as a family that this was the right thing. They offered resources and suggested books for us to read to retrain ourselves while the boys were being trained. We gave them permission to be tough on us because we knew that WE were the problem that enabled Olaf and Bruce to get to this point. They were tough, direct, and very pointed in their training of us - but always kind. They answered every question - sometimes multiple times - with patience, kindness, understanding, and thoroughness.If you're going to spend this kind of money, you need to be committed to the process. The program works IF YOU COMMIT TO IT. Don't expect that you're going to be able to continue the same home routines you did before training. EVERYTHING has to change - and I. DO. MEAN. EVERYTHING.We will be continuing our relationship with Kellen and Braden for future training and boarding if necessary. They worked a miracle with these boys and we're all going to be so much happier for it.💜

Just writing to once again tell you thank you. Kroberts K9 and more specifically, Ashten, transformed my Allie Grace. She is a changed dog. She is so obedient and so smart. I notice that when I take her outside I sometimes forgot to give her the command “wait” when I open the door, but she knows better than to rush outside. Instead she will back up a step or two, sit down, and look to me for the “break” command. She’s now officially smarter than me!! We have been on multiple long off-leash walks. We started on secluded areas where I had little worries of encountering cars, people, or critters, but she’s graduated now to Choccolocco Lake park and other areas where we have encounters but I’m not worried. When I give Allie Grace the recall she immediately returns. When I put her in the down position, she stays. When I give her the “place” command, I’m confident she will stay there until I release her. I know Allie Grace is happy too. She knows she can control her emotions and actions. Labor Day weekend we had my oldest son, his wife, and all three of our grandchildren over to our Jacksonville house for a pool party and grill out. My son invited three of his friends and their families with several young children. When it was time to eat, I gave Allie Grace the “place” command and she went to her place bed without hesitation. With a house full of humans, some of them tiny humans, all getting food from the smorgasbord we laid out along the kitchen counters, Allie Grace stayed on her place bed and minded her own business. That could not and would not have happened before she trained with Kroberts K9. I will not stopping talking to other dog owners about Kroberts K9 and have recommended them to all of them. Best money I ever spent…I’ll say that again in case it doesn’t sink in, BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT!!! By the way, October 19 was Allie Grace’ second birthday, so I’m including a photo of her with her party hat.

I took my energetic dogs, Huck and Tilly for training because Huck is big and goofy and sometimes hard to control and Tilly is a coonhound and chases everything that moves. After six weeks such a transformation! Both are well behaved and it is a JOY to walk them and to take them different places! I also suspect that Kellen might agree that, so far, Tilly is his most improved student!:) Thanks to Kellen and Braden for all that you do!

We can't say enough about kroberts k9. We entrusted our 6 month old Cavapoo Buddy with Braden. Braden, has been wonderful from the start he kept us updated regularly with video's and texts about Buddy's progress. We also were trained with Buddy. Braden gave us alot of information through articles and books that would give us additional help. Buddy is a pup so he had to learn alot of commands and also crate training. Buddy came home today and he really has learned alot from Braden so have we. Tonight i have given buddy so commands such as place, wait, down, break, here ,zand he listened without any problems. I would definitely recommend Kroberts and especially Braden to train your puppy's Thank You Braden for everything you have taught our Buddy and for training us as well. We appreciate you.

Ashten with Kroberts K9 did a fantastic job training our 6 month old labradoodle! Our labradoodle, Miller, completed the off leash training and Ashten exceeded our expectations with the results! Our main goal was to be able to take Miller out in public and we feel confident that we can now do that! Miller spent 5 weeks at training and we are impressed with the transformation. Ashten kept us up to date with videos showing Miller’s progress and answered any questions that we had. Ashten did a great job of explaining everything to us and made sure that we felt comfortable carrying over Miller’s training at home before leaving our in home training session. We can’t thank Kellen and team for all their help with e-collar training. We had two dogs with different needs. They were already obedience trained and great in most settings. E-collar training took us and our dogs to the next level. We now have a lot more freedom and can easily communicate with our dogs. KRoberts continues to support after your paid training time and hosts weekly group trainings at no cost to those who’ve been through the program.

I wish that we could put into words what a valuable experience this was for Jake to be able to go to training. Jake possibly did not sit down and relax for the first 10 and 1/2 months of his life. He was constantly moving and when he saw another person or animal he could not control himself. He would get so excited that we could barely control him. Now he still gets excited but calms down and can be talked to and at times even petted by someone else. He had so many behaviors that needed to be worked on and it is amazing how Kellen and the others taught Jake how to obey commands. We always felt that Jake was very smart but very stubborn . We realized that he also needed so help to be able to learn to be the best dog he could be. As the parents of a daughter with a disability it was definitely going to be hard to have a dog to take care of that did not know how to behave. We knew that he had to be obedient and much calmer than what he was. Now we can take Jake for a walk without him walking us, he can be in the yard without tearing the yard up, and he can relax in the house on his place. He does not have to constantly be into things and everything is not a battle. Jake turned 1-year-old while he was in training and the best gift that we could give him was being able to be a calm and well-behaved dog. We know that this training will last him a lifetime and we are so thankful. It is great to have a dog that we can have fun with and enjoy spending time with. We are also thankful that the training continues with group classes and answers to any questions that we might have in the future. All of the guys were very patient as they also trained us how to continue working with Jake at home. We highly recommend K Roberts K9 to everyone that wants training for their dogs.

Had a great experience with 5 weeks of training for our pup & definitely feel it was worth the out of state drive!! She was matched with Braden (1 of the 3 trainers on staff, all of whom are lovely), who was an excellent fit both for us and our dog. The whole team took the time to really understand exactly what we were looking for, and completely customized our dog’s training to meet those goals. They communicated with us frequently the whole time, and we could tell on weekly visits that our dog was having a great time. They also took plenty of time making sure we, the humans, were as well trained as our dog and knew exactly how to keep up her progress. They’ve made a huge change in our lives for the better.

Rescued a labradoodle which had anxiety with crate training until he spent a little over 5 weeks with Kroberts K9. We received frequent updates on the dogs progress. They treat the dogs like the dog belongs to them. Took Zeke to petsmart on leash the day after he was brought home and he did great. They make sure to answer any questions once the dog is home. If anyone is thinking about dog obedience I would highly recommend Kroberts K9!!!!!!!

We can’t say enough good things about Kellen and the entire KRoberts K9 team! From our first phone call discussing both Kellen’s and our expectations for Scout, our 15 month old white lab, to our final in home session with Kellen and Braden it was an incredible experience! We wanted to be able to have Scout inside on a regular basis and have friends and family come into our home without him jumping all over them. I can say we’ve successfully been able to do this after our training! We recently hosted our daughters birthday party and Scout stayed in place command throughout the party, all while gifts were being opened on the floor 6 feet from him and kids running around the house around him. The KRoberts K9 team was focused on our learning how to work best with Scout too, essentially training us as a family right along with Scout during the weekly group classes, go home training session and our in home visit a week after coming home. We loved being able to watch Scout’s progress on instagram too, our kids asked every day if there was a new Scout video or what did Scout learn today. We are also looking forward to the continued access to the KRoberts K9 team and ability to attend future group classes to be sure we are all still on track with our training. If you are considering having your dog complete a professional training course I’d highly recommend the KRoberts K9 team we are so appreciative of the work they did with Scout!

We took our 2 high energy German Shepherds Zeus & Roxie who are litter mates to be trained just praying that it would help a little. Well it more than help a little, it was truly amazing the transformation they were able to achieve with them. Before training we couldn’t take them on walks because they would pull so bad they would just about pull us down. We couldn’t let them out of our site or they would destroy anything & everything. Now they are so well behaved and we took them on their first walk completely off leash and they stayed right by our side even with the distraction of other dog’s barking! If you need to have your fur baby trained I highly recommend KRoberts K9! They were so informative and explained everything they did to train our babies so that we could continue their training at home. KRoberts K9 is the Best!!

I left my dog @ KRoberts K9 on March 1, 2024. I was unsure of everything about the training process because my dog was such a serious case.Kellen was honest about his expectations, and he also assured me that there was hope for our situation. He did ask me to wait a bit longer before returning for my first training session with him.Oh, but when I did get there for my first training session... the change I saw in my dog was unbelievable. My dog hadn't even been there 3 weeks and he seemed like another dog.His training began from the moment I left, and it has been amazing since that day. I got videos showing progress after only a few hours on the first day.I know we both still have lots of training to do, but I am so uber excited about our future!!! Lucy spent 5 weeks with KRoberts K9. Lucy is a 14 month old labradoodle with high energy, a strong will, and an even stronger opinion about just about everything! Today we got her home!!! We have now used two trainers for our 1 1/2 yr old boxer Lucy. I have to say that the experience with Kroberts has been a night and day difference from the previous trainer. She has learned more in the few short weeks with Kroberts than she did with almost 12 total weeks with the other trainer. Communication with Kroberts and updates have been much more consistent than with the other. I would highly recommend Kroberts to anyone looking for advanced or beginning level training for their pups!

We can’t say enough good things about Kellen & KRoberts K9. As our senior GSD progressed into his last days & knowing that we’d never be without a GSD, we reached out to Kellen. We’d “watched” him & his business for 2 years. We listened to friends that had used KRoberts K9 & after bringing our Izak (a very high drive pup!) home, there was no one else that we would allow train our guy. In 6 weeks, our almost 5 month old GSD is a completely different dog but most importantly, we are completely different GSD parents. Sure, we were well versed in the breed, but Kellen took every opportunity to keep us updated (practically daily!) in his training but most importantly, embedding in US the effective way of communication & establishing the “this is what we expect” attitude. Braden did an excellent job training our golden doodle, Stella. Before the training she would jump on you and would terribly pull on the leash to the point we would not let our son take her outside by himself. Now, she walks off leash, comes to us when called, and overall a calmer dog. Even our trip to the groomers was a great experience. She didn’t pull my arm off trying to get to the front door or act crazy while waiting to be checked in. She walked right beside me to the door and stood calmly with me while we waited. Braden took his time training us on what she has learned and would give us updates while she was in their care. I would highly recommend Braden and his team.

Before I brought my 2 y/o GSP, Hank, to board and train here, we had a multitude of behavioral issues. It was not an option to walk him off-leash and he couldn’t be around other dogs or people without getting too worked up and typically stressing the other dogs or people out. Very curious of and had/has a high drive to chase cats. He would not hold a command for more than maybe 5 seconds and was not reliable with his recall. He did not know “heel”, “place”, “kennel”, “wait”, “out”, or a “stay” or an implied stay. During this program he successfully learned all of these commands and was crate trained. Hank is doing amazing in place even with my son playing around him & picking up his leash.. plus Snickers (other dog) running around & cooking going on. This literally would have never been a scenario before the advanced training program. He also is doing well with recall into different rooms when he’s on a break. He even held a down position next to me while my son, who was very fussy at the time, took a bath. Again he continued to hold even when my son climbed out and was walking around him and picked the leash up again. Multiple people have came in and out of the house without him breaking his place or barking, no corrections needed. He is even deciding to lay on his place cot when he is on a “break” and is done exploring. Also.. he is NOT going after the cat! I’m honestly over the moon. He’s still pushing his boundaries, as I was informed he would do, but the change is drastic. Kellen was very informative and provided constructive criticism and tips that would help me as the handler. If you follow his guidance you will see the results! I definitely recommend Kellen and his team and would recommend this program to anyone! I look forward to bringing him back for future training as a service canine.

@krobertsk9 was exactly what we needed to fine tune Quimby’s obedience commands and have him off leash. As a therapy dog, Quimby did a great job while working but had some struggles at home. Kellen and his team worked with us to develop the trust and confidence needed to have success. Quimby now has so much more freedom and we have a peaceful home. Thank you Kellen, Braden, and Ashten!

Tripp went to Kellen around 9 months. He is a good dog, but we really wanted him to have better manners with guests and when we travel. I could see a difference in Tripp after one day! I was so amazed! He is been back with us for about 2 weeks or so. We work with him daily on things he and we learned from Kellen! He is much more enjoyable now and listens very well. They are such a great group of guys! We couldn’t ask for better!

Kellen is the absolute best. I sent over my year old male Doberman, Amir, for the Advanced Board and Train when he was about 11 months old. He’s a very high drive dog who was beginning to get out of control with my busy lifestyle. This was the best decision I’ve ever made. I went for weekly training lessons and the improvement from week to week was amazing to see. I just got him back home today and I cannot believe the dog he has become. He can relax around distractions while holding the heel, place, sit, or down command. I’ve been sitting doing work for a hour now, and Amir hasn’t made a sound, relaxing on his place bed. Kellen was very transparent throughout the whole process with every thing that was occurring and made sure to keep me updated with videos of the progress through social media. He also taught me how to continue the training and set Amir up for lifelong success. I’m so impressed with the results and can’t wait to continue bringing him to obedience and protection classes in the future.

Our dog Troy before sending him to Kellen was super energetic and was very skittish and would not listen to us when we were outside. Within a week of checking back in with Kellen we could already see a difference. We could tell Kellen really cared for Troy and his progress which really meant a lot. Troy has been back with us a month now and he is a totally different dog when it comes to listening and performing his commands. We can trust Troy now with any situation.
