I would give this Walgreens location 0 stars if I could, their pharmacy is horrible. They are slow, even when you order ahead, don’t want you to wait, are terribly rude, and one of their pharmacists have caused a family member to go without their prescribed blood thinner. That’s literally life or death medicine if not taken in time and they do not care because they think they’re smarter than a MD. It’s absurd. This pharmacy should be shut down.

AVOID! Made an appointment for Covid shot. Upon arrival, I am told they are behind schedule because they accept walk-ins and they are short-staffed. You would think if they are short-staffed they would NOT accept walk-ins. I asked if I can be called at my appointment time and ahead of the many walk-ins, and was told "no". What's the point? The one star, which I HAD to give, goes to the nice gentleman whose unfortunately duty it was to share the Walgreens' nonsense policy to allow walk-ins before appointments.

This is not my usual Walgreens. It is the one I use when visiting family, and every time, WITHOUT FAIL, I am astonished at how bad this location is. Shame on me for using it again, but I do not understand. I stood in line to pick up a prescription for over 30 minutes with only 5 people in line. Each customer, it took them over 5 minutes to even come back with the med. I find the technicians never know what they are talking about. When I talk to people around Huntsville about this place they all say the same thing, “ That one is the worst!”Walgreens at large needs to look into this location and consider better training of their pharmacy employees.

Horrible time management! Took 1 over hour to get my mothers shingle shot. Only 5 people in the pharmacy area. Techs claimed “only 2 of us here” and kept talking about personal conversations instead of waiting on customers. We waited over 30 minutes to get the paperwork for the shot. When asked the tech responded “sometimes it’s quick and others it’s not” This is place needs to get it together! I personally worked in pharmacy and know how it works. What they claimed was nothing more than excuses. CORPORATE NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS LOCATION! ASAP!

I would give ZERO stars if I could. Incredibly rude staff. After I waited for 15 minutes on hold, the pharmacist on the phone was incredibly rude when I asked her to look up my prescription. I will find out her name and report her. Completely unprofessional and rude. If you don't like your job or your job is understaffed, DO NOT TAKE IT OUT ON YOUR PAYING CUSTOMERS. Absolutely unacceptable.

Absolute worst pharmacy ever, if there was zero star option.. that would be my choice. Extremely unorganized and rude pharmacy staff. Lengthy waits whether you go in to store or wait in drive thru for over an hour. Only to get to the window to find that your prescriptions aren’t ready, even though I dropped them more than 3 hours prior, and now, no pharmacist on site to fill the prescription. And it’s only 630pm. Do not waste your time with your pharmacy.Edited to say… this is not monthly prescriptions that can be done ahead of time. Antibiotics that are needed when dropped.

This is the most poorly run pharmacy I have ever seen. Prescription sent today: they can't get to it until tomorrow. Prescription sent over yesterday: they haven't filled it and have no estimate. Prescription sent over 2 days ago: still not filled but will be ready "soon". Prescription sent over 3 days ago: Sorry, we don't have any prescriptions for you. I have signed up for text messages multiple times but haven't received any from this location. There is always a long line in the drive thru and in the store. The staff is extremely rude and you can tell they are understaffed and poorly managed. They really do not care that some people need their medicine to live. I mentioned it to my primary care doctor's staff so I could change pharmacies and they said, "they have constant issues with this location" and recommended I use literally any other pharmacy in town.

I am transferring my prescriptions- I can’t seem to get any service during my trips to the pharmacy, either inside or at the drive thru. I always have to wait an unreasonable amount of time, even when there is no one ahead of me. I rarely write poor reviews, but this is just consistently poor service.

I honestly don't have any issues with Walgreens, just the pharmacy staff. I've tried to refill my son's prescription for 2 days now. I called twice and staff picks up the phone but all I hear is them talking on the background about their personal lives and then I go back on hold. Even if someone tells me "Can I place you on hold?" would make a difference. I've even have gone to the desk and they said to come back in 2 hours, we did. And they had nothing ready.

I have been using this Walgreens since the first day you opened. Never had any issues. Always nice employees. The last few times I have been in the store, the employees are rude and not at all nice....until today. Jessica was such a delight. Very nice and energetic. She seemed to enjoy being there. This means so much to customers. They want to come back to see and be Around that joy! Bless you beautiful Jessica for making my day.

Today was the third time I have tried to pick up a prescription I have been out of. Various reasons/excuses from the staff every time I have waited in line over the past week. The female employee at the window today was on her phone scrolling through Facebook or whatever she was on and would never look at me through the glass. I was told last week they would have it ready for me in two days. I go back today and am told it will now be February 3rd.I give up on this location and will be moving my prescriptions.

Update: apparently they have a new manager in the pharmacy. It's been a remarkable change in service. Let's hope they continue with this progress!Pharmacy Review Only: Dont call .... they dont answer the phone. Ive been in the store at the pharmacy counter and the phone is ringing constantly and no one attempts to answer. Some are on the phone doing something, but trying to get service by phone is next to impossible.Service and drug availability at this location has dropped off significantly in recent months. Half the prescriptions sent to this location cant be filled in timely manner because they dont have stock. It took 4 visits (after useless phone calls) to get my daughters medicine. They promised 3 different times we could pick up the meds and it wasnt ready. at one point, the app showed the script as being cancelled.I think the area has grown so fast and there are only three pharmacies in the area (if you count Walmart!!!) so this location is pummeled with prescriptions. We are going to try a different location to see if its more reasonable. Driving further to get more speedy service seems like a good trade off to us.

Worst pharmacy, RUDE staff, ridiculously LONG wait times and lines.Editing: This pharmacy gave me the wrong Rx with albuterol ticket attached. I'm struggling to breathe and their accusing me of already picking it up when they literally gave me the wrong Rx 5 mins prior. These are BIG mistakes!! The level of incompetence is dangerous!! Officially going to CVS.

They do not sync with the app. Prescriptions get lost when called in. Specifics (notes)on prescriptions are forgotten. Im sure its nice people and maybe they are too busy to do a good job. we need another choice of pharmacies in this area. This use to be a good store when they had Rite aid as competition. Maybe all pharmacies are like this now.

Considering all the issues each and every employee ar thus location has to deal with, they are all saints! I have always had excellent customer service from the pharmacy techs to the front end cashier. Kudos to each and every employee here for doing their very best.

Their pharmacy is VERY slow! When people are getting their meds filled they should be told to pull around and wait not make everyone behind them wait 30 minutes for their meds to get filled. I waited in line 40 minutes waiting for the person in front of me to get theirs filled and to get my meds.

Update to the update, the Express Pickup is not valued at this store so be aware, might as well get in line and wait like unless you want to yell at the people who already don't care about customer serviceUpdate on 26 October 2022, this store has issues taking calls. I stayed on the line for over 30 minutes and gave up because they don't answer the phones. I think it is time to find another place to serve my family needs for prescriptions.Rude PHARMACY Staff, I understand issues happen during the day but no reason for the staff express their frustration out on customers. I was with my wife tonight when we used the Walgreen app to see if the prescription that was called in from her doctors appointment earlier in the day and the attendant at Walgreens was annoyed that we were using the app to track our medications and the disrespectful response she gave to me and my wife was uncalled for. Just because technology failed today is not a reason to treat others with disrespect and furthermore if Walgreen Pharmacy staff is frustrated how the app is displaying prescriptions to the user is no fault on the customer, take up your complaint with the Walgreen app designer.

This Walgreens is the worst! They never have what you need. The drive through is a complete joke! They will have you waiting for long periods just to tell you that they don’t have your medicine. Even getting a simple passport photo takes forever, and that’s when it’s working. It’s sad that I have to go to other Walgreens just to get what I need and better service.

Don’t use this store unless you have lots of time to waste. At any given time, there are 6 or 7 people in the pharmacy but they are extremely slow and act like you’re bothering them. Also , NEVER try to call because that’s a waste of time. I’ve been on hold for 10 to 15 minutes and no one EVER picks up. If you have a question, you better drive down because you can’t get them to pick up a call. Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with!!

The staff are all rude. They are slow & seem to not care. Seem to be inconvenienced by any question or request. Today we finally move to a different pharmacy after being unhappy with them for 2 years.

This place is the worst. They lost my Christmas ornamnet order and the employee was very rude about it. Also I dropped off a prescription to be filled at 5pm. They told me to pick it up at 7. I came at 830 and they said it's not ready yet and I can wait for 20 min! Again the emplyee was rude and unprofessional. Needless to say we are dumping them for another pharmacy.

Called the pharmacy and was on hold for 17 minutes. Staff kept picking up and placing me right back on hold. Went to the pharmacy right after the call and there were SEVEN people on duty behind the counter. They didn't fill my prescription because they said it was illegible, however I could read it and when I took it to another pharmacy it was filled in 15 minutes. Pitiful.

Pharmacy is the worst. Constantly out of Rxs, line is longest I’ve ever seen, and rude techs. Will be making the drive to my old Walgreens on Whitesburg. Extra money in gas is worth it.

I have always had a good experience here, been coming for 2 years. The pharmacy is always slammed but they have a respectful and tired (rightfully so) demeanor. The front counter gentlemen are also nice. Don't try the COVID phone line, you will get stuck in an automation loop. Also, the drive through is painfully slow, but it is due to the "drive through" COVID tests, they take a while to peform.

I swear you can just walk out of this store with whatever you want. I waited at the counter for almost 30 minutes before an employee eventually came up. This isn't the first time either. Very slow service, and you can never find anyone for the photo area.

I have circled through the drive through 4 times and I still don't have my prescription. Really?! Lots of excuses, we haven't received your prescription yet, please circle the building. Your insurance will only pay for a portion of the prescription, please circle the building, we haven't filled the prescription yet, please circle the building. I sit in the line of cars with high hopes that this, THIS time I will be able to pay for my overpriced medication and be done. They will not beat me, I will cut a trail through this God forsaken drive through. I don't understand how such a large franchise does such a poor job. I will try my very best to never have to do business with this pharmacy again. Fill up your gas tanks friends and get ready to circle the building!

I wish I could leave a "zero star" review for the pharmacy but thanks to Google's rules they are receiving one star. The pharmacy is horrible ever since they bought out Rite Aid and we were transferred here. It doesn't matter how far in advance a prescription is called in you will have to wait on it. I called this morning and was told my prescription would be ready after 11. I stopped by after work at 4:45 and was told it would be 20 minutes because they hadn't filled it yet. This is absolutely ridiculous. We will be looking for a new pharmacy with better service.
