When I found a year old pup abandoned on the side of the road, she was in pretty bad shape. And with it being our 1st winter in Opp, I had no idea who to call. I called Opp veterinary and they got her in, gave her a thorough exam, all her shots and informed us of how she got her wounds and how to care for her. Now we aren't down there year round, but we have found a great place to take our pups when we are there.The entire staff was so comforting with her and got her all fixed up for us.

Dr Story and staff are amazing, I know I drive him crazy with my endless questions but he always answers them and in great detail. He truly cares about his clients and their animals, and is always so gentle with my babies plus he handles my craziness well.... It's kind of becoming a running joke!!! Thanks for all you guys do, it's truly appreciated!

Dr. Story saved my Molly!!Her own story (see what I did there?) started at SOS shelter and when we brought her home, immediately she was acting weird, not just adjusting issues. I took her to a clinic in enterprise and the Dr. compared her to another heeler like her, said she wouldn't make it, and wasn't even going to send her home with meds until I asked. He even neglected to tell us she was anemic. Fast forward and SOS took her to Dr. Story. He treated her with the meds she needed, discovered she was in fact anemic, and was completely the sweetest person ever. Will answer all your questions and is very compassionate.I definitely feel safe with my animals, in his care. God bless you for saving her. You took the time to look further into it.Molly forever is grateful for you hooman.

Omgosh this place(beings Im in Andalusia) I'd never heard of!! My baby, child, my EVERYTHING pitbul Reign mysteriously contracted parvovirus("the 72 hr killer) and nobody over here could see her for a few days....😢💔 Had I waited on them : my babygirl wouldn't be here laying with me now after 5 days in ICU and darn near death!!! Dr. Story and his team especially Gust worked an absolute miracle on my baby to ensure she recieved TOP CARE !!! They became like family,first name basis when i called they all immediately knew its Reigns mom, with daily calls updates as to her care- protocols- all the way to options I HAD 100% KNOWLEDGE OF A.L.L. HAPPENING IN REAL TIME!!! I absolutely adore this place and would recommend them a trillion x's over!! Dr. Story knows what hes doing and is passionate about his job which is sadly such a rarity now days!! FINALLY.... A DR THAT CARES FOR OUR FURBABIES AS MUCH AS WE DO!!!! YAL GO SEE HIM...... Dr. Story is patient and thorough. He asks questions and listens to your answers and other details. Both he and his techs were very kind and calming to my dogs. My older Border Collie needed a sonogram, the pricing was low in my opinion for the entire visit. We were not rushed in and rushed out. Great people, Great place, Great experience. Highly recommend. Will return.

Warm friendly atmosphere. My dog, Joe, is as important to me as my own kid's health is. He wasn't feeling too good and the vet-techs made him their friend quickly. Thanks for being kind and taking care of him along with making my husband feel at ease. Thanks to the Doctor who was very patient with our questions. I appreciate his promptness and knowledge. It was worth driving 2 hours to see Dr. Story.And I will do that in the future too.Dr. Story got right to the point..He saw me in person and answered all my questions.No waiting time in the car. His co workers are extreme nice.I live in Panama City and can not find a clinic like Dr. Story's. I love my dogs like my own children and want the best care. If it means 2 hour drive, yes I will

This was my first time using this Veterinarian and I'll definitely bring my pet back again. It's a 120 mile round trip from my house but well worth the drive. The Vet I used for 25 years has now been consumed by the corporate world. I'll only say my old Vet is in Destin, Florida.

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Story and his staff. I have a high volume of dogs due to being involved in animal rescue in the area and he never ceases to amaze me with his knowledge and good heart. No matter what i "drag" in the door we always find a solution and cost efficient treatment plan.You wont find a better vet in this area, believe me i looked for a long time. He is not to lazy to go the extra mile and has his heart in the right spot. He believes in animal rescue and proper treatment of animals.You can tell he cares deeply by how he interacts with them. Also great bed side manners!CAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND

He performed an emergency spleenectamy on my furbaby, to save/prolong her life.Whenever I call, they make time to get me in right away, and everybody is genuinely concerned on how she is doing.We know she has weeks/maybe months, but Dr Story is doing everything he can to make her comfortable.I cannot recommend this clinic enough!

THANK YOU TO OPP VETERINARY HOSPITAL! My Great Dane had an infection come up after a hurricane, this worried us because he was starting to swell in multiple locations including around his mouth, and my local Vets in Crestview were unable to see him because they were over booked due to the aftermath of the storm. Dr. Story got my Aspen in and treated ASAP! I will continue to drive 1 HOUR to return with my 4 dogs including Aspen my Great Dane!!! Dr. Story was AWESOME with Aspen who does not like men or Vets, and his staff played with Aspen and kept him calm and helped him relax. THANK YOU GUYS!!! I will tell anyone looking, give the staff at OPP VETERINARY HOSPITAL a chance, I promise you won’t regret it... Thank you for taking the time and talking to me and explaining everything to me. I cannot say it enough... THANK YOU AGAIN AND Y’ALL ARE AWESOME!!!

We moved to the area a few months ago and didn't have a local vet, the staff at Opp veterinary hospital was very caring when one of our fur family became ill. The news was not good, but the whole staff seemed to be genuinely sympathetic. We will take the rest of our 4legged kids there.

Was referred by my vet. Didn't feel my business was needed or wanted. It was Friday afternoon..I get it but again I was sent there.Thankfully my dog has recovered..I do appreciate the the service that I paid $200.00 for...whew

I had a stray cat give birth in to a litter of 6 in my barn. I was going to have all of them spayed and neutered. I called Opp Veterinary Hospital and they quoted me $180 per female (in my case, I have 5 including the mother). That is ridiculous. Thought I'd do something good for the community, but at those prices, I'll just let them breed until they take over.

Traveling from Maine, my dog got hurt on the way to Alabama. I called Opp Veterinary Hospital the day I arrived and they were able to fit me in that same day while treating me like my home veterinary office. Before returning home, they were able to fit all three of my dogs in for an annual teeth cleaning and get them up to date on their shots. Overall, this was a great experience with a welcoming staff that put me at ease while on my trip to visit family. I would highly recommend them if anyone is looking for a vet or if you’re passing through and need help.

Ok vet one of the only in town . Sometimes the service is a little lacking and the staff could be nicer ....... UPDATE......... Spoke with the doctor and discussed my concerns and was a great conversation and great opportunity to give feedback. He listened a understood my side and was able to give me the reasons behind what I was feeling was wrong .. Great person and wonderful attitude , honestly one of the nicest vets I have ever spoken to. I would recommend him.

I love Doctor Walker, she really does love animals, and is very knowledgeable. And what she doesn't know, she states very plainly that she will find out from someone who does know. She even asked us to call her and let her know how our puppy was doing after he's been treated.
