The room was nasty and bathroom was doomed. Please remember to bring ur own cleaning products and don’t set a high expectation because you see the bed was made. You can honestly do the same thing a home but I really had to scrub the bathroom walls, tub, and the toilet clean before using it. There was still hair left from the last person who was in the room but it’s unsanitary, and if you have children and you care about them, you might want to think twice. And was charged extra just so they correct the reservation they got wrong why when you already planned and booked everything and I’m not going to let an attitude mess up my trip so I paid it and get horrible serviceRooms: You will need to bring some cleaning products

Ok I’ll start off by saying I’m not a picky or spoiled guy so I don’t need to stay at a four seasons but this room was just gross. There was hair in the bathroom, you couldn’t walk in the room without shoes bc the floors were nasty, and the room smelled disgusting. The mattress was very uncomfortable. Lastly the hot water lasted a total of 3 minutes. I didn’t even want to risk shampooing my hair bc I was worried the hot water would be completely out. And keep in mind this is almost December so the weather was a bit chilly. Do not stay here if you have any standards whatsoever. And I paid 160 a night so it wasn’t exactly cheap either.

I stayed there because it was the closest I could find to the Auburn campus. I stayed there after a night football game. I got in late and there were several people checking in that were ahead of me. The clerk got us all in checked in very quickly which I was happy about because I was very tired. The room was nice and clean. I had to wake up early and leave and I accidentally left my driver's license in the room. I was three hours away before I realized I didn't have it. I called the front desk and asked them to go search my room for it. They called me back soon letting me know that they had found it and would mail it back to me. Customer service is great. I will be staying there again.

We were terrified when we saw the exterior and even more terrified to find how unclean the room was. We were exhausted after the game so had no other choice. It is not safe. Our television also didn’t work and no one knew how to fix it so couldn’t watch the games. We hope we didn’t get bed bugs! We paid $300 for absolute disgusting night with a horrible cleaning smell trying to cover up some other smell.Rooms: Do not recommend

I stayed for two nights. The check in was easy, the rooms were clean. It looked like my room was recently painted. Nice cold ac, clean bathroom, and room. Refrigerator, and microwave worked great. This hotel has so many more channels then most hotels. The only negative that I have is there was no breakfast but the clerk told me before I checked in. No problem because they were doing renovations to the dining area so that's understandable. No noise at night, there is a Chinese restaurant right next door it's served great food. A little BP convience store right across the street, also a dollar general that has sandwich meats and microwaveable meals. I enjoyed my stay at $79 a night. I honestly thought it was going to be a dump by the price. It wasn't I will stay again when I'm back in Opelika. Hotel staff was very nice and courtesy.

Let me start off by saying upfront that they were kind enough to refund our money and I do appreciate that. The room was $176 a night and it was hands down the most disgusting room I have ever seen. The rooms on the outside smell so much like cigarette smoke it was unbearable. They gave us an option to look at a room inside and it was filthy. The walls had handprints all over them. The floors with filthy and the bathroom was shocking. I travel for work and stay all over the place. I am not picky. I just want a clean room that doesn't make you feel like you need a shower when you walk in them. I wish I could express how shocked I was when I walked into those rooms. I chose to drive four hours home rather than sleep here.

I cannot emphasize how uncomfortable we felt in this hotel throughout the entirety of our stay.The AC was littered with mold and you could SMELL it in the air. The bathroom in our room was NOT clean. The floors were sticky (even in the hallway?) I am talking hair, dirt, mold, and dirty caulk throughout.The stained sheets were another fun surprise that we had the pleasure of dealing with. You can tell that management cares very little about the upkeep, maintenance, and cleanliness of their establishment.You know that feeling when you don't even feel clean after taking a shower? That's how I felt staying in this hotel. I would 100/10 recommend staying ANYWHERE else.Also, the Wi-Fi doesn’t work.Somehow narrowly escaped without bedbugs.I have NOTHING good to say about this establishment. They clearly take advantage of guests by false advertising “suites” online. Please avoid at all costs.PS: Please note that most of the photos of this establishment are added by management themselves. I'd take a look at the ACTUAL photos posted by guests. You've been warned!

I checked in, went to the room for 2 minutes and tried to figure out how I could possibly stay there, returned to the front desk and let the woman know the room was unacceptable and I wouldn't be staying. That was understood and not a problem. Like all hotels in the area, they were astronomically price gouging 400% rates for the football game and would sell out no matter what. Gross.The room was filthy, literally ripped up (floors and walls), mattress needed replaced 20 years ago.I was charged the full amount for the 2 night stay I booked. I was then also separately charged the full amount with a refund for one night noted. Choice hotels has reached out to the property. I have called and emailed. It's been 4 days with no indication that the $700+ in charges is being refunded. No communication from the hotel regarding the refunds.Will be taking further action.

Stayed here when my mother was staying overnight in the hospital. Checked in at night and the lady at the front was the only redeeming factor to this entire stay. She was nice and had a good personality. Checking into the room was almost exactly as expected... dirty. The chair had stains (obvious ones), the floor was dirty and uncleaned behind the bed, the air smelled of strong cleaning chemicals (especially of bleach when the shower was on), and the shower was dingey and there was a leak under the tub. Thankfully, after checking for bed bugs, there weren't any signs thereof. It's not worth the nearly $100 per night price tag. Save your money and go elsewhere.

The floors were tacky and dirty. The one lamp had a light bulb that was flashing. The remote wasn't working so I was feeling the edge of the TV for the buttons and the back of the TV felt very dirty and nasty. The toilet backed up and we called office but no one came and I had to go find someone to get toilet plunged. I spent $96 on this room and was not impressed at all.

You get what you pay for. Staff was friendly, hotel was quiet, close to several restaurants, shower water was perfect, and the room was in good shape. That being said the halls need to be updated, the halls and room smell funny, the floor in our room had a small sticker from someone’s clothing on it, the floor needs a good mopping, could use more towels in each room (they only provide two), the bed blanket had so marks on it like it needed to washed, and they left a half used shampoo bottle for us. For the price we paid it was great and I felt safe but there’s a few basic house keeping things that need to be taken care of. The breakfast was basically non existent. Might be willing to stay there again but only time will tell.

Dog hair(small black hairs) all over the comforter and bathroom floor, walla disgusting, floors disgusting like they were half swept and never mopped. Microwave not clean and smelled, walked in and could barely breathe from the musky mold smell. And on every lamp shade there was moldy green residue. Called choice hotels and told them to refund or I would not book through that site again. Front desk called the room after and yelled at me, even though I was polite after a terrible work day. She later calmed down. Was told I would be given a refund by manager if I walked out immediately and gave the cards back. I never stayed but maybe 20 min just to talk on the phone. And they shorted my refund by $148. After the notes say “nothing was found”. Everywhere was booked and I had to stay an hour away and pay double what it was here that weekend even though this place was five min from my job so I had zero reason to lie. Was never told about them keeping any of the refund considering choice hotels has them on recording and told me I was fine. I’m still waiting to hear back about final money due to me.

I stayed here because a friend invited me to the Iron Bowl. Thanksgiving and the Iron Bowl were in the the same week so most hotels were either full or outrageously expensive. So, I tried to find a "budget hotel" that was simple but clean.You check-in at a desk behind glass like at a gas station in bad neighborhood and it was not a warm reception. The hallway carpet was very dirty and stained. The outside of the door looked like it hadn't been wiped down in a decade. Once I got in the room, the bedroom itself wasn't too bad, like it had been cheaply remodeled in the past few years but never really deep cleaned. The mattress was OK and the sheets were clean. In the bathroom, the tub was grimy, the tile grout was dark, and the corners were grimy.I would not stay here again.

Well at least our room was clean. I guess the vacuum stopped working because the halls had not been vacuumed for days. Not the nicest employees but when all the other hotels are booked and you don't want to sleep in your car, you should give this place a try. Set your expectations low and that way you will not be disappointed.

I ended up changing from my first room because the A/C didn't cool the room down. It didn't blow cool enough air.I took a shower while I was waiting for the room to cool down and noticed my shower shoes made the bath mat black after I got out due to walking on the dirty carpet before I stepped in the shower.The second room was cleaner and had a working A/C unit which cooked the room down quickly. The bed was okay but the pillows weren't so fluffy.I would spend a few more dollars and give another motel in the area a chance next time I need a room in this area.Too bad all four employees I came in contact with were friendly.

I had a smoking room out in the "L" as they call it. It had been mostly updated, bathroom and TV were obviously new and pretty nice. Microwave and fridge we're oooooold but still functional. Room was very clean, no bugs of any kind. Biggest gripe would have to be about the AC. Needs replacing, it took forever to get the room cold, but it did manage eventually.Overall, fine for the price. No real issues.

Our stay was good until they put whoever across from us that was partying and loud all night and earlier it took them forever to bring towels an face towels. And when I call the front desk to complain no one answers the phone. I believe the person at the front desk, leaves, or no one works the front desk late nights. I won’t stay here anymore especially if it ain’t no one working the front desk when u need them it could be a real emergency.

Although our room was partially updated, the bedspreads were older and dingy, the carpet in hallway outside our door was disgusting...looked like someone threw up and it never was cleaned 😫 We stayed at this chain all over, last month we were at the one in Auburn on College Ave. Very noisy, but much nicer - I'll go $10 more and stay at another big name. Also a few shady characters outside when we were unloading our car, didn't feel 100 % safe

WiFi did not work. Microwave was gross. $20 a day pet fee ( which is fine, I don't understand why they say no pets). They just charge you and that's it. Not that big of a deal. Not the usual place we'd stay at. But, we evacuated due to Hurricane Irma and this was the only place that had a room left. I am thankful for finding it. Rooms were decent for the Economy lodge and what we were going through at the time.

This was the worst over night stay anywhere. We get into the room and it instantly looked clean and smelled nice. But was muggy so my husband turned on the A/C. It was kinda noisy and never did cool the room off. Next there was no remote for the tv, so he called the office and they told him to come up there and get one. He goes and gets the remote, all it does was turn the tv on, you can't change channels or anything. The bathroom had mold around the edge of the bathtub and mold in the soap dish. The blanket on the bed looked exactly like the curtains and felt like the curtains so I think it WAS the curtains . The bed was so hard it was like sleeping on a concrete slab. So we spent the night hot, muggy and uncomfortable with no tv.

I should have read the reviews prior to booking my non cancelation reservation. This is so over priced. I did not feel safe at all and the room smelled really bad. Will never go there again.
