Visited this Dollar General a few minutes ago and I gotta admit this one wasn’t the cleanest but the employees was super nice so that’s the reason for the 5 starsThe employees are doing the best they can at this location … The bathroom was cleanThey are fully stocked but boxes are everywhere, lolI’ll definitely visit this location again in the future

Angie is VERY rude! I asked for a price check on a small bag of potting soil that was outside. She said it was $6, so I said I didn't want it and she literally "snatched" it out of my hand and said "Well, let ME put it back!" I stood there questioning whether or not she was being rude as I watched her "shove" the front door open really hard to put it back! I then knew she was actually being rude! I had other items on the counter that I was going to purchase but when she came back in I told her she didn't have to be so rude and that I wouldn't shop there again. She told me sarcastically to have a nice evening. A lady approached me outside and told me that she had been rude to her too. WHY employ people like that? There are DG's around every corner. I won't shop there again as long as she's employed there.

This is by far the worst DG I’ve ever been to. It is always so nasty. The floors look like they haven’t been mopped in ages. It’s junky and unkept.

I like this dollar general, it's always clean and has great service. It has great things to choose from, definitely not the best one I've been to but Is the one I visit most often. The people never stay that long because they get new staff all the time but they're always nice and friendly.

Dollar General has all the convenience of Wal-Mart without the crowd. This particular location has friendly and attentive customer service during the evening & night but during the day you'll find NO ONE at the register and likely be subjected to squeezing a rubber 🐖 pig in order to call for a cashier. (I take it they're either too busy or understaffed.)

Store isn't very big compared to other Dollar Generals. The building is simply too small for everything to be squeezed into it. This leads this location often being a disaster; the store is hardly ever recovered properly and much of it is under stocked. Because of this, the store looks much worse than it could be and is dirty.

I went to this location at 7:45 am the associate there was pulling items outside of store and quickly informed me “ We not open we got 15 minutes before you can come in”I’m thinking ok I’ll just go to the location near my house within that time, but as I was backing up I see a lady and her to boys walk straight into store nothing ever saidThis customer service is unacceptable I’m trying my best not to believe it was the color of my skin that made this lady turn me away but let the other family go right on in, if she has issues like that she don’t need to be working in no customer service area

Staff was kind, but there were boxes in every aisle, I could not even go down the aisle I needed to. But, given the circumstances of 2020, this most certainly looked like an issue due to understaffing... Too much to do, not enough people to do it.

It's great having a DG so close to home. Most of the employees are so nice and willing to help you. The ONLY negative is.... it's so unorganized, but I honestly believe its because they are running out of room in the small unit!

Love the odenville location. Everyone there is always friendly and eager to help. Prices are great. I can just about anything I need without having to drive all the way to Wal-Mart. Tried the digital coupons last week for the first time saved quite a bit.

Verta is a very unhelpful and I think cognitively diminished human that shamed me in line when trying to make a Western Union transaction. I called ahead to make sureI had everything needed and she misinformed me then proceeded to make my DG experience very negative. I do not want to support this store in these times if treated this poorly.

The store in odenville Alabama is very busy . The store is small and its shelves are always empty. Long lines 1 cashier... Boxes from truck every where and no one putting up stock....

People are very friendly and helpful.. Pretty convenient location. I just with they would stay stocked on certain bathtowels i lime to stock up on. Other than that its a good experience

Cashier was rude, didnt bag my bread separately, put two one liters on top of it. Didnt give me my receipt , and when I ran my card she bent over and was playing with something in the floor. Disgusted

Looks like they need a delivery to get some stock in and have for a while. Also for a while has been the least organized and clean store in our area.

I was here today and the cashier was on her phone texting behind the register the whole time. She didn't even put my merchandise in a bag, she handed me my receipt and went back to what she was doing.

Great place for inexpensive items! Sale prices are wonderful and the selection of items sold has really gone up invalue! No cheaply made stuff!

This location is very unorganized. Items always need to be stocked and crates are out in the aisles which makes it hard for customers to shop.

I usually visit 2 of them...on Hwy.78 Riverside ,AL..MR.STEVE WAS@THE 1ST 1BUT MOVED&IS NOW MNGR.@THE 1NXT.TO 10%STORE FOOD OUTLET...HE IS A VERY NICE MAN&MY EX NOW,MY HUSBAND SAID HE'S A WONDERFUL MANAGEMENT-HE USED 2 WORK 4 HIM...WISH HE'S STILL@THE 1 CLOSE 2 TRIPLE T'S THO!!!😢
