Referred by a Home Health Nurse to purchase their catfish and try their Boston Butt sandwiches, I was blessed to visit on my daughter's day off from work, and must say, I was impressed! The staff and I met over the phone as we needed directions. The supermarket was very appealing, clean, shelves neatly stocked, and the meat looked fresh. When the young lady from the meat dept. brought the ground beef out, I picked up one pack, backtracking for a second pack. I enjoyed my visit. And I love the fine and friendly customer service. Down home country goodness. I look forward to returning back. Boston Butt sandwich I must try, during lunch I was told of course.

My favorite grocery store. The prices are the most reasonable within a 50 miles radius. The meat is always fresh. Customer service is great. Very clean.

They have a wide selection of everything. They cut their meat. You can actually get a thick steak with good marbling. Prices are comparable to big grocery stores. I prefer to by my meat from here.

The store is very well stocked, clean, and neat. You can find pretty much everything that you need. The staff is very polite and asked if I needed help. It's a pleasure to shop here.

Nice store out in the middle of nowhere...Seriously though, this is a nice store to visit. Excellent meat prices. Employees are always nice. Super clean store. Always looks like they just opened a new store. Always have a good selection of everything. Even gas things you don't find everywhere. Boiled peanuts, fresh bbq sandwiches...just a good store..

I never have any issues when I shop here. The sales associates are always kind and attentive. I've also never had to wait in a line for long periods of time. There's only one time I shopped there and one of the male employees had this blank and unsettled look on his face. It was as if he was staring off into space. I was uncomfortable because I had my daughters with me, so I cut my shopping trip short that day. Overall it's a good place to shop.

I drive up from Montgomery to shop here. I'm guaranteed to find something I had from my childhood that you can't find anyplace else. It gives you a nice trip down memory lane. The staff is always nice,the store is clean,every day sales with great prices. I love shopping there.

I have been going here since I was a child. The best meat prices in Alabama. Try you one or three BBQ sandwiches because those have also been around for many many years!! The recipe never needs changing! I will always travel to shop here. It's worth the time and gas. The store is clean and the staff are friendly. Thanks Carmacks for still going strong.

Great meat department. Will cut steaks and pork chops how you want them. Most meat is still cut by a butcher. Not many places left like that. Friendly down home staff. Really enjoy shopping at this classic neighborhood grocery store.

I have been a patron of Carmack for as long as I can remember. Their meat is TOP quality, I've NEVER in 30 years had a tough steak from them. Or any meat for that matter. Drive a little, and get a full loin of ribeye steak. Thank me later👍

Manager was rude and threatened me in front of store owner. Store owner said I brought it on myself and did nothing. Horrible ownership. Will be pressing charges and seeking legal counsel.

I like shopping at Carmack love the qualities of their meats. Staff is helpful and friendly. Wish they had a real deli and variety of breads like the and pumpinickle. But overall I though they are small I can find the things I need if I can't find what I want.

Best meat in town!!! Hands Down!!! Best fish around. (Tilapia) Wal-Mart fish has a very strong odor and I dare not to purchase another bag from them. Carmack is the place for meats. Fillet migon is a good price I stay getting every pack they have when I see them!!!
