We purchased new carpet recently from Wheat’s. When visiting the store for the first time, we were greeted by Christian. He was very helpful assisting us navigate the many different options and choosing the right carpet for our home. We took samples home, and with the help of a decorator friend, made a color selection. The carpet was ordered and arrived in just a few days. The installation was scheduled with David and Juan arriving on time. It happened to be an extremely hot day. These two men worked nonstop and did an excellent job. Jamin, the store manager, followed up to ensure everything was satisfactory. We are extremely pleased and highly recommend Wheat’s.

I had an excellent experience choosing new bedroom carpet at Wheat’s. Tracy Gooden listened intently to what I wanted, looked at photos of my rooms, and led me directly to the carpet of my dreams. She has excellent taste both in carpet knowledge and in decorating as well! My carpet arrived within a week and I was scheduled for install within three days. Andres and David were the most polite, professional, neat, and efficient carpet installers I have ever worked with. They moved my furniture without a scratch or a ding. They brought dust to my attention fearful that it could be termites. Fortunately it wasn’t but I so appreciated them letting me know! These people are why we choose to use local companies for our home upgrades.

Sophia did an excellent job helping us create a new master bathroom and dressing area that we love and was within our budget. We are in out seventies, and she listened to what we had in mind and showed us we could create a beautiful bath that we would enjoy and make life easier. Sophia knew we wanted to have some gray in the shower and she pulled together the marble look tiles with streaks of gray in them for our shower. She would ask questions and knew we wanted a bench and an niche to put our hair and skin products. She was concerned to see that we were hurting our backs bending over our vanities to do simple things like brushing our teeth and recommended new vanities that were higher and would not require so much bending over. It is amazing to realize the benefits of something so simple. She encouraged us to let her design cabinets that allowed for more and easier storage and we love it. She incorporated the gray by using slate gray long tiles on the floors and smaller tiles in shower floor. She was very helpful in picking out a sky blue color for the walls.Finally she listens and comes up with great designs as can be seen in the photos below. She continually keeps in touch and has on site visits to check on the progress making sure everything is done correctly and that, we, the customer are pleased. The only regret we have is that we didn’t do it years ago. We would rate Sophia a “10”. She’s the best!

Glenn Hawthorne at Wheat’s Carpet One was very helpful to us in choosing our new LVP flooring that Wheat’s also installed for us. When we mentioned to Glenn that we were planning to replace our kitchen countertops, to have our kitchen painted, and to install an HVAC system in a small shop area, he handled that for us also. We are very pleased with all of the work that was done for us.

Never ever go here. They have the rudest team working. No one can answer your questions. Worst experience. They say they will order your tile- charge your card and never tell you tile wasn’t in stock or ordered. I will never go back. I wanted the manager - Jamin to correct and make good on my order however he was not even sorry. From order date to attempt pick up was 4 WEEKs. Not even a phone call to say- hey this tile isn’t available! So after my bathroom was demolish then I hear no tile. No credit for all the “damages” they caused dealing with repurchasing from a different store (I had to take day off work to find more tile, and contractor sitting waiting). Note- I purchased something that DID come in… but I think Jamin should have given the item to me at cost. As far as customer service this is is the bottom of the barrel. Picture from team member desk. Not how I envision good service. If you go here- make sure you triple check your order… and know you probably won’t talk to a manager if something happens. Also Lowes had everything for about one- fourth of the price. I understand quality of tiles might be less at Lowes- alignment, thickness, but I wouldn’t waste my time, energy, money at a place that treats people like this- even in Covid times.Edit to the owners response My tune never changed. You actually were not available for most of the day- to even know my tune! Someone in the store should be left in charge when you are not available- maybe you have trust issues with your employees? So again my tone never changed. I was very upset to have to revisit your store 4 weeks later to pick out new products. Who tone would be good in this situation? While my bathroom was demolished and no tile- yet I had paid for tile! When I found same product at Lowes (in stock… I had to wait for your product to come in) there was no need for your services. So yeah- I wanted a full refund plus honestly any interest my money could have gotten else where. Your right I should have asked for a full refund. Returning all of my order. I guess you will still be out of money sitting with the discontinued bullnose tile that I have- reason I wanted to have a discount. Which you should still honor in my opinion. Yes I have worked with you prior. But this experience with your staff (attitude), and this product issue I will not be back. I will also tell others not to use you. I hope this review helps others make the decision not to use you! Your staff needs to take classes customer service. Your employee needs to hide her sign on her desk- she is not always right- customer service 101, the customer is… the one spending the money in your store! This business will not last long on these current terms.I see you comment on most reviews- I couldn’t wait for your comment. Note- when they have to comment they are wrong. If they treat customers like this you don’t want to use this company. Covid or not- this store failed… they had an employee to leave- they didn’t follow up with the employees prior transaction. This whole situation falls on the owner- they should have checked all transactions when an employee leaves- for situations like this! They should have simply been nice too. But they were not- not a sorry or anything. So go elsewhere.

I had the best experience at Wheats. Tracy was so patient with helping me find a match to my existing flooring. I must say it was perfect! You can hardly tell the difference when it was installed. Speaking of installation, Andres and David did a super job. They were great and answered all of my questions. After they were finished they cleaned up so well you would not have known they were there installing flooring in three bedrooms! Wheats just installed some amazing blinds in my house after over a year of me agonizing about which ones to pick. They are so easy to do business with and they genuinely want you to be happy with your selection. I've used them for floors, tile and now blinds. I won't go anywhere else. Jamin is the best - and once I made the decision, it was just a few weeks before my blinds were installed. Great quality and everyone in the process is just super friendly and helpful. My wife and I made the decision to have carpet replaced in the entire home. We had 4 companies come out and measure and Wheat's not only offered us the best price but they were also the most professional.Once our carpet arrived an installation date was set and the installers came the day they were supposed to and arrived on time. There was a mix up from the measurement to the plans and 1 of the 4 bedrooms did not get ordered but they ordered it and setup a second install. They also did not charge us for the mistake and assured us immediately it would not be on us to take care of.Our installers did such an amazing job for the first 4 rooms and 4 closets that we requested for them to send the same crew for the final bedroom and closet and they did. My wife and I never once had to come behind them and ask them to fix a mistake they made. They were very professional and extremely good at what they did. I want to thank the team of Mike, Shane and Austin for outstanding work and customer service. I HIGHLY recommend Wheat's and will use them again!
