Love this place! I buy my snake food from them and bought a couple of ball pythons from them as well. Love the friendliness of everyone there. I wish they had more options for purchasing boas, but I understand that they have to accommodate the area market. They also have a great selection of fish and other animals as well. I generally stick to the reptiles.

I looked everywhere for a hedgehog, and if course I wanted one that was well cared for and loved before I got it and Sounds Fishy followed thru. The owner really cares about her animals, she has a wide variety of snakes, fish and other exotics. I took home my baby girl Izzy Luna, and she has adapted well due to her having such good care before I adopted her. Thank you, she really has filled a hole I had in my life, I can't tell you how much I enjoy coming home to her adorable face

After looking at Google reviews, I had high expectations when I visited the place. It was not like I had hoped. A dog was tied outside and constantly barked. There was a five year old turtle behind a plastic gate on the ground too. I was there right at 10 when they opened. It is dark inside and they have three rooms. As you walk inside, the first room is aquariums with turtles, iguanas, geckos,and snakes. It's hard to spot the animals in their environment in such a dimly lit space. As you walk a few steps towards your left, the second room houses three very large macaws, a few parakeets, and some gerbils. Walk out and straight ahead is where the fish are. They have some beautiful cichlids, goldfish, and a tank full of guppies. Not much to look at. Nothing had been fed or cleaned yet. I wondered how the owner and one employee could even get it done by noon with customers walking in. The owner had a product to sell me and was helpful with advice about my algae problem. She also explained that the reason they didn't have much stock or animals was because they just had a spring fling blow out and sold everything.

Honestly one of the best pet stores I’ve been in ,the staff is super fun and helpful just love the environment it is very welcoming.The snakes are priced very reasonable.I 100% recommend this place !!

We have bought two turtles from here a peacock slider and a albino red-eared slider the people are so sweet and helpful well educated on All Pets sometimes we just go here on a weekend just to visit

I LOOOOVE this place of business. The lady who is over this establishment is such a VERY LOVELY and CARING person. Her demeanor is pleasant, warm and welcoming. She's very informative about the animals she sales and give excellent info of continued care for them. I found the largest bunny she had, and named him Happie . He was already potty trained, 😊😅 YES, potty trained. He Loves to be kissed, rubbed and held. And since my daughter moved him in her room, he has become a grown rabbit baby. THANK YOU for your Wonderful Hospitality💌

This place is literally amazing. I can’t rate more than five stars but I probably would if I could. You can find a great variety of reptiles, animals and fish for decent prices. The owner cares for these animals and tells you how to care for them so well. Unlike other pet stores I know. You can even hold some of the animals as long as you sanitize your hands before each one. If you live near this place you should definitely go, it’s super cool the owner is really nice. Sounds fishy is an amazing pet store. And despite the name, it isn’t any lie.

Amazing, kind, patient, knowledgeable staff. Got 3 finches here for the price of 2, and MUCH healthier and cheaper than chain pet stores that mistreat their animals. There is a huge variety of amazing animals, reptiles, birds and fish.It is even more interesting and immersive than the zoo. Sometimes I just come here for fun. They give amazing discounts and knowledge. The two girls are so so so sweet and kind! I love coming here so much. Arguably my favorite place in Tuscaloosa. I did not know they do birthday party events, but reading the reviews, now I definitely wish to do my 20th here!!P.S: smells lovely despite the wide variety of animals. Enclosures are clean and don’t stink. Animals are happy. (I am glad they sell them in pairs rather than just thinking of profit alone.The lady gave us 3 finches for the price of 2 just because she didn’t want the 3rd to be lonely, as he would be the last finch left, and it is so refreshing to see such a heart warming gesture from a pet store ❤️)

I love this store. They have great prices. They are very kind and love what they do. Makes the expectance all the best. Absolutely wonderful vibes. You can have birthday party events and more. Also if you don't see what you want they more than likely can get it. Everything I ever needed they have or gotten. Great with kids and teach or educating people that want to know more. Very friendly workers, they are very organized, with lots of different kinds of sorts of salt water fish, fresh water fish, reptiles, and small animals , the prices are more affordable then other pet stores around also... They also have more one on one time with the animals to start training them or getting them tammed. I will recommend this place over the others in TUSCALOOSA COUNTY. I JUST LOVE STOPPING IN TO SEE THE ANIMALS.

The “exotics” part of the shop was nice and healthy for the animals, but the “aquatics”…. Dear lord. Half of the tanks were infected with Ick and many were cloudy with dead fish floating. An entire tank just had about a hundred dead guppies floating up at the top. It was depressing, and I would even call it animal abuse.
