I like the guy who works there, but he offers very low prices for some pretty good valuables. And the dog is harmless guys, don't be afraid of a big dog just because he barks at you. I've been there multiple times and greeted this gentle giant dog numerous times. Only downside is you don't walk out of there with much cash, no matter what you have to sell or pawn

So I was on Google trying to find a pawnshop looking to purchase some earrings. I came across Pawn Royale along with a few others. Since I was in Northport, I decided to go there. I called my husband and he said if it's the one by Northport DCH don't go there!! He had a bad experience and felt like they didn't care to have his business. Well I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt and I went there anyway. I walked in and the guy was on the phone the whole time. He never acknowledged me in any way!! As I started to leave, you would think at this point he would at least say something to try and get my business but he didn't. Trust me I will never go back in there again!! It's sad that we still experience this in 2023.

Loud obnoxious dog greeted me because the guy working this place was outside smoking! Prices are excessively high! I had questions and the guy had no answers- I am in the market for a new pistol but I won’t be buying here! The dog barked at me as I left but at least he spoke. How do they make enough money to survive?????

They have a dog named Clutch who is in the store during work hours. He barks at every customer. Very disrespectful and unprofessional. Plus they close at 5. How does this place afford to stay open?

I walked in with intentions to make a specific purchase and the manager/owner never even acknowledged I was there standing in front of him at the counter(yes he saw me). I was the only customer in the entire store at the time. If it wasn’t for Uhaul rentals they would probably be out of business because they sure don’t have the least bit of customer service.19 Total 1 Star reviews(including mine) out of only 30 should be absolutely embarrassing.

I have been going there for years now and always had a great experience. I can't count how many times I was in a jam needing extra cash and pawn Royal and there Employees was always there for me when I needed them the most!! That is the only pawn shop in town I will go to!!! And will continue to keep going there.

Whenever I have walked into this place I wonder how they are in business. Rude staff, half the lights don't work, and they actively let you know they could care less if they sell anything. I wonder what kind of front this business is used for because they clearly do not do enough business to stay open legitimately, 90% of their items have been in the store for 2+ years.

Very strange pawn shop. many of the guns are not for sale and the ones that are tend to be very over priced. Some of the guns that are for sale they wouldn't show me even though I was a serious buyer. The manager is very rude and doesn't seem to care about his job. Every time i go in they seem to have the same over priced guns and no customers.

Went to look at machine guns, owner was rude and lacking in knowledge.Was goin to purchase a 15,000.00 dollar gun and would not let me hold it. So he tried to take it apart so I could look at the internals but did not know how. After telling him how and looking I Then called my SOT FFL to ship it to and was laughing when he joked to me in phone call about the guy was like us and maybe did not want people touching them and I laughed about that, then the guy comes out and says he heard my phone call and was not goin to sell it to me....what a idiot. Would recommend staying away from this guys shop after reading other reviews here .

There is a manager (owner?) that is very rude; acts like you are wasting his time by walking in the door, and it's immediately obvious that he wants you to leave without buying anything.He refused to show me certain firearms (I guess some are just for display?), gave short one-word answers whenever asked a question, and when I politely pointed out that a certain firearm he is selling has a faulty hammer and wouldn't be functional, he got visibly angry and snapped at the salesgirl to take it from me and put it back in the case. Basically telling me that he wouldn't sell to anyone who questioned his merchandise. He also told me that their store policy is not to accept returns on firearms that don't work, even told me it would be illegal to do so (not true, every other pawn shop in town will take them back if faulty, I know from experience). To make matters worse, the prices are ridiculously high. Not a little high, but ridiculously absurdly high.I'd advise everyone to take their business elsewhere. Wades or Southern Jewelry will treat you soooo much better, and their prices will be fair.

This is one of the worst Pawn shops I have ever been in! The fat guy manager in there is a total D-bag. He thinks he's in charge of the world. I was interested in buying a firearm and we had already made a deal on one. Right before I was going to pay for it he changed his mind and refused to sell it to me. He said he thought I looked suspicious (btw, I was wearing a button up and slacks). He was acting like a tool the whole time but I'm not sure why he did this. I am an upstanding citizen in Northport and there was no reason for his actions. Oh well, I guess I'll take my $1000 cash elsewhere.

DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT RENT A UHAUL FROM THIS COMPANY. THERE ARE TWO LOCK BOXES FOR AFTER HOURS. We were provided the code which is the same for both boxes....the code worked for one box and not the other....our box was the other....OWNER DOESN'T CARE IF YOU'RE WITHOUT A VEHICLE AT 9PM AT NIGHT!!!!!! SOMEHOW this is on me because apparently I don't know how to operate a box.....Well I was able to operate one box!!!!! THIS COMPANY AND UHAUL DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CLIENTS....WILL NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN.....THIS NEEDS TO BE ALL OVER THE NEWS THE WAY THEY HANDLED THIS TRANSACTION!!!

I started shopping here when they first opened and it was great. In the last four (4) years however they’ve gotten way worse. Every time I go in they have the same stuff they had the YEAR before. They are very overpriced on pretty much everything they have and WON’T negotiate with their prices. You’d be better off buying the stuff new because it’d be the Sam price as here.

This is the worst pawn shop in the history of a pawn shop. The young kids that work behind the desk have no idea what something is worth. Btw if your on the clock don't complain in the background about your pay as an employee. If you don't like your job find another one. No one wants to hear that...
