Boarded my dog with NPS in February of 2023. The owner was very kind, she was sweet to our doggie, and we felt really blessed that she took us last minute. The facility seemed clean and fun for the animals. We were only visiting UofA for the weekend, but I would board with her if I was a permanent resident.

Liz and Jess were AMAZING!! This was our first visit, but we'll definitely be back! Liz was super kind, incredibly knowledgeable and is absolutely committed to the pups in her care. The indoor and outdoor spaces were well planned to suit the diversity of pups in daycare and were very clean. The dogs are on a routine daily schedule that includes plenty of social play, a snack and nap time.We've used many dog daycare facilities; some are better than others and I'd definitely put Northport Play N Stay in the top tier category. Highly recommended!

My two dogs Leo and Luna have never been more loved and cared for. They are given the opportunity to just be dogs. The owner takes special time to work with each dog to figure which play group he/she will fit into. After my dog had been hit by a car and fractured her spine. She kept her for me while I was at work. Taking time to help her slowly rehabilitate. With Liz and her team's help my dog did not lose the use of her back legs. Leo has come to understand that he can't always be the boss of all the toys in the play yard. It took him a while, but he is much better about sharing all things now. This is a unique place that doesn't just shut your dogs in a kennel and then let them out to run by themselves for 30 minutes. It is designed for dogs. They are pack animals, and this place helps them be who they are truly meant to be in a safe and secure environment.

Great place for your dog! AC cooled large garage where dogs are crated, large play areas where your dog can play, and the dogs are let out to play often. The owner is very kind and thorough. She makes sure your dog plays well with other dogs and vice versa.

I have been taking my dog bryant here for 6 months now. He absolutely loves Liz and gets so excited the minute we pull up. Liz is so great and takes the time to build a relationship with each dog. She has the dogs on a schedule for play time, napping and eating. The dogs stay in an air conditioned facility that is right next to Liz’s house. What makes this place amazing is the huge outdoor fenced in area the dogs get to play in all day. Liz and her workers spend all day playing with the dogs so your dog is not just sitting in a crate all day! She keeps me updated when bryant is there for over night stays. I would absolutely recommend you take your dog here!!

Fantastic place and above-and-beyond customer service. The negative reviews regarding shock collar use appear understandable and caused us to look elsewhere at first, but we learned they aren’t quite accurate. The collars are set on a low vibration setting and don’t deliver an actual shock that hurts the dog, but rather just get their attention so that the staff can communicate with them and actually be heard. It was like getting extra dog training/etiquette class for free for our dog. But they don’t do it all the time or on every dog it appears. Just the regulars and dogs who aren’t responsive to normal commands or are being aggressive toward another dog. We were one-time customers visiting from Louisiana, and the facility’s owner (I think?) was so great, intelligent, and didn’t even charge us (we only came half the day). She even texted me cute pics of my dog playing on the trampolines. It’s difficult for my pup to come to places like this because she’s extremely shy/skiddish, and she seemed like the happiest dog ever playing there. Highly recommend.

Our one year old German Shepherd spent Spring Break at Northport Play and Stay and he came home with open wounds all around his neck. When we bathed him he bled and was in pain. He also had a few other nicks and bumps in other places including his nose. When asked about his injuries, they admitted that they do use correction collars at times, which we were unaware of. Can not say strongly enough how unhappy we are with this place. They were very difficult to deal with regarding pick up and drop off also, which would’ve been nothing if our Cyrus has been well cared for.

My dog stayed 1 night for preboarding. She told me she used a shock collar on him, without my permission. It was never discussed until I picked him up. I do not recommend them.

I got bad vibes on this place, and you should demand to see the facility before you leave your dog, because Liz would not let me see it.Liz had excuses for everything, she is a shady person!!

I take my fur baby here everytime I get back to T'town, its quite obvious Max has enjoyed himself! Liz is awesome! 🐕🐕🐕🐶🐶

This place was great when we went out of town for Thanksgiving. The dogs had a blast and became more socialized.
