Shelves were overloaded with everything Big Lots is known for having!!!! My Matchbox-Hot Wheels addiction that I've had for over 35 yrs now is what brought me to this location after having a haircut at my awesome barber shop near here and I was glad I stopped by this location and each and every staff person was an absolute delight, eager to help, answer questions I had it was just an awesome shopping experience at this Big Lots so if you are every in Tuscaloosa make the 10-15min drive to Northport on McFarland Blvd/Hwy 82 and see for yourself how awesome!!!!!!

(Its Not the price, it's the principal.)🤔 Big Lots over the weekend (within the "sale dates")a drink rang up @ $2.69 . I said its supposed to be on sale for $0.99, Cashier said "You have to buy 5". Sign says "limit 5" (not minimum). So I said "keep it" it was just a random grab anyways. I went back & look the pic, went & showed her & she looked like she didnt understand. BIGLOTS Do Better! Dont false advertise!

Staff didn't seem to care or help. Sales signs (40% / 50% off)were everywhere, but items were not really on sale, and it was hard to tell the prices of items. After going it reminded me of why I never go.

Great place to run in and pick up necessities or quick gifts. Too many times though, cashiers will stop scanning items to reply to a text or to another cashier regarding non work related subjects.

I went in to buy some plastic storage totes and a mattress protector. The store is huge and no workers in sight. I crossed the floor twice looking for help because the matress protector I wanted was all the way above my head. I found one person all the way across the store who claimed that some manager was supposed to be on that side of the store. I went to customer service/checkout and had them paged. No one ever came. Finally, I found a sturdy thin object and used that to knock it down. Towards the front of the store were the totes at the price I needed and again, I wasn't supposed to be lifting anything. I had to get 8 totes, and I had to pull them apart and then lift each one over the high cart. I got to the counter to pay and she asked me how I was. I told her how unhappy I was that no one showed up to assist me and she apologized. Tell that to my breaking back.

I don't have a Big Lots any closer than 2 hours from me. We were driving by and there you were. I told my Fiancee we had to stop. Your store was laid out very beautiful and well stocked.

Couches and chairs seem overpriced, but maybe that's me. A guy in the back was welcoming and helpful. He came to us, asked if we needed anything, helped us find an item, offered to get us a cart, and even though we said we were okay, he still brought a cart, which did come in handy. The cashier did not try to help move the boxed item we had to find the code to scan. She just said she couldn't see it and waited for me to pick it up for her. She was nice other than that, though.

I found microfiber bedsheet set for $14 and the material is super soft, light and airy! Also, if you look at the snack isle they carry more gluten-free & keto items than Dollar General & Walmart. Their prices are very reasonable and the store is always stocked, organized and easy to navigate. They don't sell cigarettes or beer.

The store was clean and well organized. Employees all seemed nice and helpful. The store is large and offers a wide variety of products. There are a lot of options of toys, foods, leashes, and accessories for dogs and cats ! The patio furniture is decently priced and there are so many options. A lot of items are priced at $5, which is good for some items but a little steep for others. Overall, I had a good experience !

I was able to get multiple items today including blue ray/ DVDs, Tide laundry detergent, K-cup coffee boxes, and several Sterilte-style storage containers - all at very reasonable prices. And I had a coupon for even more savings. I am a really big fan of the specialty items at Big Lots for the outdoors and patio which often times are very different than the big box rsetailers. Great store, great prices, nice customer service!

Went in to look for a chest of drawers for my daughter in college. She needs 5 + drawers. They had several to choose from, around $159 to $500. They do have a lot more furniture now days than they used to. We didn’t find exactly what we were looking for this time. We also looked at desk chairs and a chair for her room to put in the corner for a friend to sit in or her Mimi to sit in while she visits. We found a cute upholstered blue and gold paisley design chair for $79 that may work. We will take a picture to see if she likes it.

Big lots has got good furniture , that don't fall apart and the sectional , and recliner we have purchased there is fantastic! It's been a year and sectional still looks the same as the day we bought it. Recliner is still looking marvelous and my husband loves his chair.

Sometimes you can get good deals, but you need to price check because you can get most things at Walmart for less, same products. Big lots will price match. Check dates on food items, sometimes out of date or close to it. Veterans receive 10% off everyday.

It was against my better judgement to give less than one star, but that was the lowest choice available. The check-out lady was rude and rushed me through the line and she didn't help me with my bags which I had just bought. You could look at me and see that I could use a little help. I do not need Big Lots in Northport Alabama any more. Do not go there. Thank you.
