I dont use plastic bags for environmental reasons- every saturday i take in a reusable bag; fill it and pay self checkout or via cashier.As im shopping (wasnt even trying to leave/headed4door) a dg moores employee mill approaches n says hand me ur bag or im calling the cops. Accused me of theft. They changed policy . U hav2 get cart or basket now. Thats fine but no signs r up stating such policy &ive done this for 2 yrs w no comments every Saturday n use a coupon. I wont b back to this one but if yall go to this one and dont use bags, be aware or youll b humiliated as i was. Corporate being called. They need to lead with"maam are u paying for those items? We require a buggy or basketNot IM CALLIN COPS ON LOYAL PAYIN CUSTOMERS OF2YRSJust wanted to make everyone aware. Plastic bags are blowing around on all our farmland getting microplastics every where. I deeply care about this issue and was criminialized for it . I understand their position but they shouldve conveyed it differently. Just thought everyone should know

I was in there today to buy a few things and the lady checking me out was not friendly. Never got a hi or how are you doing. Nothing. Didn’t get her name but she has red hair. I was putting my stuff in the cart after she bagged it and went to put my milk in the cart and the bag ripped and of course it fell and busted. She never said it’s okay or grab another one. So I grabbed another milk and was about to leave and she said next time you will have to pay for the item. That is $4 we have to cover when you dropped it. I said excuse me the handle ripped and she said well you dropped it and now we are out $4. I was furious. The guy that was checking out behind me told her well maybe you should have double bagged it. I shop in this store all the time at least 2-3 times a week and have never been talked to like that. And the sad part is nothing will be done and customers will continue to be treated like that.

This is the cleanest and most organized Dollar General I have ever shopped! The manager and staff are friendly and helpful! I willDrive the extra miles to give them my business! Thank you for a job well done!

I went in last night after work, I was craving my kinder chocolate bars. I looked around for a few and I couldn’t find them, and the lovely lady asked what I was looking for so I told her true Kinder bars.. she said I think we’re out but hold on, she goes and comes back with a BOX !!!! took her nothing but a minutes and I wanted to cry y’all ! I’m pregnant and I was specifically craving those nonstop and it felt so good for her to actually care enough and go grab me a box. Mind you she was already busy organizing stuff and it’s just the fact she dedicated time for ME, to please me.. one customer. Means a lot !! Super pleased w the staff and customer service ! She needs a raise !!

The only reason I gave a star is because of the cashier. I was in today around 2 and I saw a young lady stocking shelves and cleaning. When I went to check out the light was on for register 1 so I went to it and put all my items on the counter and waited for a cashier. After about 5 minutes I looked around and 3 other people were in line behind me and still no cashier. I went to look for the young lady that I had seen and she at the same time noticed the line and came up front to her register which was number 2.She called out to the woman in the office that she said was her assistant manager and said are you coming out to your register. She mumbled something but never came out. So I had to load all my stuff back in the buggy and move it to the other register because she can't get into register 1.I allowed everyone to go in front of me because I had 65.00 in merchandise and they had already been waiting just like me. The cashier was so embarrassed by the situation that even my granddaughter noticed but she did really well and apologized twice. I told her it was not her fault but that it was really messed up to be in management and not care anymore than that about your customers and employees. I never leave reviews and try to give people the benefit of the doubt but it was so blatantly rude to everyone that I will not shop that store again. To the cashier I am sorry you had to deal with all of this.

Wonderful place to shop, has nice people working their, they welcome you not the store. Great prices. This place is clean. The only thing I would have to say is wrong is probably the wait in line, I would suggest maybe, get more people in to run both lanes, it is the time of yr where everyone is going to be Christmas shopping, so you will need both lanes open. Thanks.

This is one of the better DG. It is larger, the aisles are wider with products on display easier to find. Only issue I had is at the front where the checkout counter is located. They have a large rack the front which is good for going through the checkout, but it's too close to the end of the regular aisles making it hard to turn the large shopping carts.

Honestly, the best DG. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The manager and assistant manager are super nice. The additional staff is all nice. I like shopping here. The store is clean and organized. Great job!

Truly helpful. I had a coupon for 5 free little ceasar for my dog. The dollar store near my house couldn't figure out how to use it and they said they knew how & took my coupon. They told me even how they did it so I can tell the store near my house

Nice clean store in the middle of the woods off the beaten path. Beats going to Walmart. And the people here are friendly. Better than Walmart. But it doesn't have everything like Walmart. So just up to you if you go here or not. But it's a nice store

The only thing I couldn't find that they didn't have were original potato sticks in individual bags,they were also out of packaged sandwich meat,but all in all great place to shop!!

Brand new location. Staff are friendly, and helpful even though they were very busy at the time I was there. You wouldn't expect to see one where this is located. However there is a large number of homes just near by. With plenty more going up in the near future.

This place is so wonderfully they do a great job with the animals I have a german shepard an she is 7 an not very friendly but she didn't have any problems she let the vet pet her an check her surgery wound with no problems they know how to make your animal there friend an feel comfortable an the staff really cares about your pet
