The New Hope store is the best by far I have been to. It is my go to store. The shelves are stocked, and employees are always ready to check you out. I don't think I've ever waited for someone to come to the front, which is the case in most of the other DG'S.

I shop here every single day. Some of the staff are rude at times. One of the cashier's are very rude I would include names but hey it is what it is. I wished it was more diversity in the area that I live in. I don't let it bother me because I have no choice. I've called corporate a few times to ask if they would put black hair and skin care products in this store which I've been at this for 6years now but still haven't gotten anywhere. The store interior and exterior is clean and always stocked.

Store was stocked and as soon as I walked in I saw several employees available for assistance if needed.! The staff was very friendly with the exception of the tall young man who waited on me at the register! Didn't catch his name but he seemed impatient and very short with me.. But overall.. Very nice store!

Love this store. They have a good selection of items especially if you don't want to go to a big store. Sometime it take a few mins in check out but they always try to get you threw quickly...

Love this Dollar General. It is always clean and organized when I visit from out of town. I always make a special trip here with my grandkids. They even know where things are located in the store, because it's their home town, and it shows how well they keep the store organized. Normally, I don't have to wait in line long, before they get another cashier to open a register. I don't see this at other Dollar General stores, and I visit lots of them. So, this store gets my top rating!

Most of the time things run smoothly, but some of the cashiers up front need to stop gossiping amongst themselves and wasting customers' time! I'm not interested in what her tattoo looks like or where she's going on Saturday! This usually happens on Sundays, when there's a rush of customers coming in and the checkout line is 12+ people and there's 1 cashier who moves at the pace of turtle and 1 who just doesn't know how to run a register. Fortunately, there's a young man who works there who is incredibly talented, fast and gets you out the door in five minutes or less! Wish stores would teach the importance of Urgency to their new employees! When my total shopping takes 13 minutes but have to wait in line for 28 minutes, that's not a store I want to come back to. Also, the coupon machine glitches on several occasions.

You can find what you need most of the time but there are some rude people that work there. Alot of the time they are texting on their phones, eating or talking to each other. Usually there is only register open & the line is always backed up. There have been a few times when I've asked for help & they acted like I was bothering them. However lately it seems like they've hired some nicer people so hopefully the atmosphere in there will change. Still wouldn't go in if you are in a hurry tho. I try to only go when I kno Miss Pam is working, she is always nice.

It's doller general...if you can afford to shop somewhere better, you normally do. But it does have a decent arrangement of the necessities. This one is kept pretty clean and has gas pumps outside which are both major pluses for me in particular. Just don't expect them tonalways have everything you need to get.

Definitely better prices compared to Piggly Wiggly. It is great that they have fresh meat and produce available. Piggly Wiggly sells old food and Dollar General sell fresh food. Great selection of food. Aisles are small and meant for one cart down that aisle.Overall, better prices at Dollar General.

I love this store. I'd rather go to Dollar General than I would Wal-Mart. They have a digital coupon app that saves me a bunch of money. Absolutely one of my favorite stores to shop at.

First and last time I will shop the Dollar General in New Hope, Alabama. Waited in line long time then cashier's register locked up. He told me that is why he uses cash. Very rude. Had to go to another register which also locked up when I entered the digital coupons. After waiting an exorbitant amount of time I finally left without my $65.39 worth of merchandise I really wanted and spent MY time chosing. VERY DISAPOINTED!!!

I THINK THEY SHOULD CHANGE THEY NAME BECAUSE I HAVE NEVER SPENT JUST A DOLLAR OR 2.00 ? I THINK THE STORE MGR. LESTER & THE EMPLOYEES ARE HELPFUL, AND NICE ! Selection is OK, but prices were higher than what I expected to pay in what is supposedly a "discount store". The guy who checked me out was nice.

Always im mean always have item in the isle way .. this place is a trip hazard.. carts with items to stock are always in the way of foot and cart traffic also step ladders. Unsafe environment for handicap and children.

This might very well be the best dollar general I have been in and I've been in over 100 different ones. This location was in New Hope, AL. This was also the first one I have seen with fuel service

This dollar general is strange and buying gas there is a hassle to say the least. I love the dollar store for many reasons but i wont be getting gas at any dollar store ever again. Ugh. Such a hassle.
