Great store for any home or farm needs. This isn't a neat clean little store like Target, it where you can buy feed for your animals, work boots, cloths, guns, home and garden items. It's a fun experience visiting here with the family to see the baby chickens, turkey and rabits. Not to mention you get free popcorn and coffee too.

I love Rural King. The merchandise is inexpensive, I like the clothes, and some are unique. I love that I can bring my pet, I love to see the baby chicks and ducks, and sometimes there are rabbits. Such a fun place.

I really enjoyed the huge selections of quality merchandise. The isles are roomy and the employees don't smother you yet are helpful at a seconds notice. The bathrooms and the entire store was clean and great deals in all debts.

The store is big. That's all. I went twice this week in search of turkeys. I came back after a delivery and was shocked at what I saw. Chicks of all breeds in different pens. Chicks labeled as turkeys. Apparently every worker other than customer service was on break because no one could be bothered to speak to me when I was clearly looking for ANYONE to let know of the problem. If you are looking for general goods, you might find it, but don't expect help, at least not if you show up in the morning. But don't go looking for live birds unless you know exactly what you want and what it looks like, and the proper price. Hopefully no one got ripped off and paid $15 for a chick that is supposed to be $4.

You won't last long around here with this type of customer service.02/08/2024 @ 10amI live in Hayden Alabama. I'm 85 miles away from your location there in the Sholes. I call to check on weather you had Red Brand field wire in stock before I drove all the way over there. The female I spoke with said " she was pretty sure they had it" . I asked if she could check to make sure. I said "I was coming from a long way and needed to be certain it was there". The response I received was NO she couldn't that I would have to call back later to find out.She didn't even offer to put me on hold until she found out. I was going to buy over a $1000 dollars worth of field wire from you but, I guess if you don't have time for me then I don't have MONEY for you.So, I took my business to Tractor Supply they are more expensive but, they know how to treat customers.

They have so much Inventory, You can order and pick up items, well trained associates and advise. That is one MEGA PLACE! GO HAVE FUN WITH THE FAMILY!! Something there for ALL!! Time & money spent there is more than worth it! I drove from Jasper = 1.15 hrs. away and I'll definitely go back again.

Had a funny experience the cashier was cleaning her counter and anther casher was waiting to pay for her coke and the sprayed it with 409 lol. So we all 3 had a good laugh

This is a fun place to go, if for no other reason than to see the chicks and rabbits. The store could be cleaner, but they have a good selection, great staff, and free popcorn.

Great stuff here, but unfortunately the things on the shelves almost never match the prices listed on the shelves. If they could get their stocking organized it would make shopping much easier.

Purchased a tractor and all accessories from them and it has been a very frustrating experience. We still after over 2 month have not gotten all the accessories we paid for and last week they called us wanting a part number of the post hole digger we are waiting for. Every time we call no one knows anything and we just get the run around. We were supposed to get reward points and that didn't happen and no one at the store can help with that either. Would not recommend buying tractors or accessories from them!

Have never seen a nastier bathroom! Maybe Loves Truck Stop also in Muscle Shoals is close. You can tell a lot about a business when viewing their restrooms. This place obviously thinks of its patrons as cattle! Do better!

I have received a refund on the below purchase and therefore changed the the rating from a 1 star to 3 star. The original purchase was a 1 star but the actions by the service dept were 4 star and appreciated. Because of the service dept taking action, I will be a return customer.I purchased (160 lbs) Weed & Feed and (200 lbs) of Crabgrass Preventer online to be picked up in store. I had a friend pick the order up because he lives close and I do not. The order was pulled wrong....only (100 lbs) of Weed & Feed (loaded 25 lbs bags instead of 40 lbs bags) and the Crabgrass Prevent bags had been torn and taped up. When I opened the Prevent, it was wet and hard clumped to the point it will not go through the spreader. I would return the entire order if it was not for the fact that it would take 3-4 hours to drive and return. Basically, I should have paid the higher price and went to local Home Depot.

Some of there stuff is at a good price I bought a chain saw there price was good but they don't sell chains for it Husqvarna dealer say its not a common chain so I have to order them wait a week to get them don't understand why rural king would order a small saw with a .325 by .043 by 14 bar they need to tell pple they don't sell chain for them or just don't sell the saw in my book

Best prices on everything they carry. Purchased a battery for my car. Saved $ 170.00 on a battery. Now that is not chump change by no means. Check their prices against any place. And staff is extremely helpful.

It was a pleasant experience for me and my mother the last time we were at Rural King to get some plants for her yard to replace many plants that we happened to loose this past winter due to the weather so bad this winter and we have an actual greenhouse that is heated and I work out in it every day or so during the fall and winter months. They had a nice selection of annuals and perennials to choose from overall. We both actually spent a good bit more than either of us had planned on spending that visit. So job well done Rural King. 😊

You walk in to the store and the smell of popcorn greets you. Most of the staff smiles at you, but not everyone of them. This is because they are busy keeping their area stocked and cleanIf you need help, and ask a staff member, they stop and help you...with a smile. They have a good variety of products too
