I've known and been doing business with Gordon and staff for almost 40yrs. Wonderful people and more helpful than one can imagine. Not at all like those franchise stores who scare your fish to death just trying to catch and bag them, only to die a couple of days later. I will always rely on Gordon for business and hobby tips. Clean, very knowledgeable, just a remarkable place to shop for all your aquarium needs.

Just left the place. I was wanting peppermint shrimp and green chromis. There were no price on the fish, and before I could get help they helped the 2 people that came in after me. May be better for the people that bought the pleco that came in after me. I rather go where the place has the fish and the price posted anyways. Personally won’t come back here.

Owner is very sweet, store is very nice with many good items in stock for many kinds of pets. There is also a sweet quacker and a much bigger bird there to greet you. A very pleasant experience and will be shopping for my pet birds there more often!

Could use some cleaning, tanks, rugs, and signs were dirty. Some of the fish in the tanks weren't priced. However, the person who helped us was super nice. The prices were very reasonable.

They are also very professional and knowledgeable about the fish. They have been in business for a very long time. I also just found out about the grooming services and will be taking both my dogs here. I don't think they are overpriced and they treat me with kindness every time I go.

I was visiting this shop while in town from Georgia. In my short time there, I found the staff to be knowledgeable and friendly. I like small family owned shops over big retailers. Although I only bought a little thing of fish food, I still appreciated the conversation I had with the employees and the owner. That means alot to me as a customer. Wet Pets in Montgomery has an amazing selection of fish. Well worth the hour drive. Gordon and his wife were fun to talk to! They had an awesome selection of South American cichlids. Their selections to choose from are much better than the big box stores and Gordon even gave me a free jewel cichlids with my purchase of 3.Also, Gordon really trusts his customers as hobbyists. He seems to understand that the aquarium hobby is a learning process and that mistakes WILL be made and learned from. I admire his trust in me as a fish hobbyist as opposed to other stores that treat their customers like they don’t know anything about what their doing.Thanks you!
