Hannah was amazing, extremely informed about Hermit crab behavior, and patient with us considering I had a gazillion questions about proper Hermit crab care. She entertained them all and we never felt rushed. Just added a third hermit crab, and she was there again to address all our concerns. We had a great shopping experience with her. I visited the store to explore options for fish and fish food. They offer a great variety, and the store is well-maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. While I found some aquarium accessories to be a bit pricey, they do have a wide selection to choose from. I also looked at the dog puppies and felt that their prices were quite high. Despite this, I would still recommend visiting the store for its diverse range of pet-related products.

This was a far less than ideal experience, and we have a LOT to tackle.I was never acknowledged upon entering, much less throughout my whole shopping experience. Your employees were too busy snickering and giggling behind the counter to even offer any assistance; not a single soul ever spoke to me.The first thing I see upon entering are VERY bored, chunky cockatiels. Birds need enrichment, and these have zero opportunities for doing so. The only food I saw available was millet spray- a treat. Not ideal to say the least, but definitely far from the worst thing here.Upon entering the fish and reptile area, you see a very large koi constantly swimming back and forth in a small tank. I know they’re there temporarily until sold, but wow. I will applaud you on the hermit crab enclosure, but please do not recommend small plastic bins for their permanent home.The reptiles are what made me write this review. This is atrocious and unacceptable. Your enclosures are in horrendous condition, truly lacking proper husbandry. I’m surprised your animals are still alive. Their temps are wrong, humidity is way off, feces is piled high and visible in all enclosures. It seems that something is rotting inside of a ball python enclosure. Absurd.Do better.

Looking for a Zoomed 50 gallon low boy for ages. Can't get them around here. I've had a couple of stores say they could get them just to back out. Petland Montgomery got the tank within three days. They are awesome!

Madison is the BEST! She helped me pick out my son’s bunny for his birthday present!! She’s the sweetest and helped me get everything to my car (even helping me rearrange to get everything to fit🤣) she told us tips and tricks and was the sweetest to the animals!! The next time we are at the store she’s who we will be looking for! 🙂 ❤️

Neat, well kept store with a variety of both pets and the things needed to care for them. Lots of parakeets in many shades of blue and green. Consistently available young cockatiels. Bunnies of various breeds and markings/patterns. Rodents , gerbils, and guinea pigs are available and sometimes ferret. Lots of puppies, all vet checked, and the picture of health. More small and medium dogs than large , but husky and german shepards can be found there. Popular poodle mixes, Yorkie, Boston terriers, and mini schnauzer can be seen with great regularity. English Bulldog from time to time. To sum it up, availability seems to keep up well with popular demand. I don't want to forget the fish and reptile corner, so if you are a fuzzy or feathered pet owner you don't/ won't even know they are there ( not easily seen from the front or puppy areas) . There are plenty of choices, but fewer bettas than some other chain stores. You won't find kittens here. The puppies would make them too frazzled, I'm sure. But , again, the chain stores do kittens and bettas.... these guys do all the rest and do it well. You can play with any pup save ultra new arrivals who haven't yet seen the vet, in generous sized play box areas with built-in benches that will hold the whole family plus your favorite canine.

Fun trip with the grandkids. Birds, guinea pigs, ferret, bunny, puppies and fish. Well stocked with pets and supplies. Pets are way over priced, but fun to visit.

I only have experience with the fish from here, and so far so good! I've purchased a betta (still alive and well two years after purchase!), several tiger barbs, four total fantail goldfish, and six lyretail mollies from this establishment.Generally, the fish are in good health and transfer well to my tanks. I've had minimal problems. Of course, fish can be hit or miss, but I've had consistently good results from here.The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and especially assisted recently with a goldfish problem I recently had. They have reasonable return policies and are helpful in getting what you need.

I just love the critters in this pet store! So cute, so playful! From Puppies to Ferrets, birds, bunnies and Rodents. Tons of fish as well. Just one drawback is the price! Maybe I'm just not the $3,000-$8,000 puppy kinda guy but my car isn't even in that price point. 😅 Maybe one day! 1st world problems right? LOL

I really like this traditional and well stocked pet store. The staff was courteous and actually offered to help locate an item we were looking for. Excellent customer service which is such a rarity these days.

Wonderful to walk in and see the animals to buy, but the prices for a dog were rather expensive. I think I would rather give my $ to a rescue dog. The choice of animals was great though, we enjoyed the various fish as we are planning an aquarium soon. Overall, if you would like to come in and get quality service and goods, this is certainly the place to be. If you want a hamster, gerbil, or bird, they have you covered. They will outfit you with everything you need to take care of your new pet that day.

Fish health was pretty good. Not a great selection of aquarium plants, and what was there was pretty mediocre. (Holes chewed in the leaves, wilty, not very healthy) the staff was very friendly and pretty knowledgeable regarding the fish.

This restaurant is Awesome. Your food is fresh,hot and doesn't take long. I am very happy qith this restaurant. I qill be coming back over and over again. I travel about 80 to 85 miles to get there and it is worth every miles.

Love the fish selection. Cute animals.... loved the puppies, but the adoption fees are insanely high to me. Was looking for a ferret but they didn't have any and didn't know when they would get more. They DID have a waiting list. They will contact me once they get some in. Staff was friendly. Loved the fact I could play with the puppies in a enclosed area. Over all fun visit to this store.

Went into the store to get things for my snake. Received not a welcome to the store. All three employees stood at the cashier area talking about their day and never came back to assist me in finding what I might be looking for. I would not recommend this place. The only solace to the situation was the manager I guess who answered a question that I ask of him.

Most excellent in supplies and choices of fish. Not thrilled with the dogs being sold there. Price is too high and they look like they need further attention, grooming especially. If you did not sell the animals, you would have gotten a 5 star rating.

Let me start by saying the puppies were ADORABLE and oh so cuddly. Otherwise and honestly, the organization seemed to be in disarray a bit. It may have just been the time of day but there appeared to be a significant surplus of staff that were huddled up or just standing in place. There were some areas that seemed to require a bit of tidying. That said, every member of the staff was friendly. Though the cost of adoption was shocking, to say the least, I suppose it's comforting that only VERY serious and financially stable persons need apply. Though the cost is $4,000, we were informed that financing options do exist.

I came there to look at the dogs that this store sells, look around and to buy our Oscar some treats. It's an amazing dog store and a nice employee helped me to find our family member some good wet food to eat as well. I asked her about different dog food for our lovely animal. All of my questions were answered and I brought our Oscar some treats, as well.They also gave me a free treat for our dog as well. This is also another good pet store to shop for your dog as well.

We went into Petland in Eastchase to purchase my grandson a pet for his birthday. When we entered the store we were completely ignored. All of the staff were eating or joking around with each other. Not one of the sales staff offered us any assistance. I have never experienced such a poor display of unprofessionalism. I am so happy we have choices about where we spend our money. The workers at that store could stand some serious lessons in costumer service. Never Again....

When looking for a dog we tried several different options before making a decision. We went to several Humane Shelters as well as adoption events and pet stores, looking for our forever pet. In the end we found her at the Humane shelter. Petland was one of the stores we visited. We looked at an adorable long haired dachshund puppy, but something didn't seem right.She really wasn't well socialized, and not interested in people. Then we found out they charge thousands of dollars for dogs here. The little dachshund was on sale for around $2,000. The pups were all in small cages and it was so sad. I recommend going to a shelter or reputable breeder for a puppy. And even a breeder will charge less than two grand. I hope all these babies find good homes.

We go to Petland with our two pups because the staff is amazing. They will even allow us to make sure collars fit before we leave. Our pups pick out treats, receive love from the staff and always leave happy. We also rely on the staffs expertise on our tropical fish. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable and really seem to love their jobs. Thank you for making us all feel welcome.

It was a little crowded but the animals looked well taken care of (outside of the dogs, most looked miserable being trapped in those cages). Though I don't know much about animals, they looked healthy, and the fish tanks were clean. The store merchandise itself was a little pricey for my taste so I didn't buy anything but getting to see a variety of animals was an experience in of itself.

Great customer service! I recently talked to Isabella about a bunny rabbit for my children, and she was just down right the sweetest person ever! Very informative and knowledgeable when it came down to the animals and what they need she was just very sweet and honest and I appreciate that about her great job!

My latest experience has always been pretty amazing . The staff is pretty good at helping you as soon as you walk through the door 😊The way they great you makes you feel so warm and welcomed. Like you are meant to be there . I have 4 Dalmatians and my Daisy just had a litter of 16 puppies so I can't wait for all of their Petland experiences . 💓🐶
