I am sharing and upgrading my current review of 1 star from 7 months ago. I must give credit where credit is due. This store has picked up since then and I must state the following. Floors were clean enough to move around with other shoppers. The meats were neatly stacked or iced properly. There were no foul smells within the isle nor near meats. Cashiers and customer service was timely and courteous. Security was also provided inside while shoppers carried on their day. I enjoyed the fair priced products and US meats. Great turn around. I often wonder why my parents love's this store, but when I begin to shop there I see why ,the place is clean and the staff is great there I just can't complain! Love this store!! Prices are reasonable.

Not a bad place to shop. Their meat is excellent, same quality as super foods and Foodland, wayyyyy better than Walmart meat. Just be aware there is a 10% surcharge on top of your 10% sales tax.

The store is very well organized and appears to be fully stocked with lots of different grocery items. The vegetables are fresh. The staff is very friendly. The only thing is the size of the packs of meat compared to the high price.

Their store brand Peanut Butter smells and tastes rancid. I thought it was just a bad jar the first time so I bought it again a couple weeks later and its just every jar. They don't have apricot jam. They have no cold brew coffee. I went to get a pie once and there were multiple pies growing mold on them, they don't have a bakery and the pies were out on the shelf, I'm sure the pies in the freezer are fine.I shop here every week, the prices are great and the staff is wonderful. Just be aware that there are some things that they don't have or the quality won't be good. I buy peanut butter from them just a different brand. I buy a different flavor of jelly. Their bread is good and cheaper than anywhere else. Eggs are good, oatmeal is fine and well priced, frozen fruit is good and cheap though their blueberries taste like they weren't ripe when they were picked/frozen. I shop here every week and go to other stores once a month to get what I can't get here.

I HATE smelling old meat everytime I walk in this store. WHATS GOING ON? ITS HORRIBLE. The people who work there are nice and the store is neat and the shelves are stocked and all products nice and neat and facing forward. If not for the smell it'll be a 5 star

Food Outlet is not for me. I do not like how the meat department piles on and stacks the meats into the meat case. Unless they have extremely high sales and turnover, I would hate to think how long chicken, pork and beef sits on the bottom of the piles. That is what I mean by the store is not meant for me. 03-13-2023

Food Outlet is where I buy most of my meat. My grand sons like breaded chicken patties. I do too. But I like mine cut up and put in my salad with Honey Mustard Dressing. I used to buy the breaded chicken patties 10 to a bag for almost $+.

I Loveeeeeeee this place!!!!! This the true shopping spot here in my hometown, from the Managers to the cashiers everyone here present a outstanding customer experience for shopping. The store is always clean and during the holidays they have Christmas music 🎶🎼 playing throughout the entire store which makes a shopping pleasant experience.

Great place to meat shop. I'm a big griller and having a place to buy food meat is important. This is the place since moving to Montgomery. If you're familiar with the 4th Avenue Market in Bessemer, AL., this place is similar. I've enjoyed the shopping since being told about the place. Take a look.

I needed to pick up a few items and some chicken. Entered the store and was greeted. Store was stocked and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Check out was quick. After getting a "thank you" I was invited back and told to have a good evening. Great service and the price is good.

I like their meats, that's really all I buy from there. I don't like having the 10% surge charge and then the 10% tax. I'm 65 and live off of disability. So every penny counts. It ccx would be great if they would give seniors a discount. The employees are all really nice.

Neighborhood store that has good produce, great meat selections, and very good prices. Actually, they have a structured pricing of their wholesale cost plus 10%. So, they're only making 10% to cover all their operating expenses. They're probably only clearing 2% to 3% in profits at best. They do not have the selections of a larger corporate store, but they have everything you need. Love my neighborhood Food Outlet!

Great improvements to the store! I love that they have a fresh selection of produce and meats. They also have a nice selection of flowers outside if you are interested in gardening. I come here frequently to get bang energy drinks, which they have one of the lowest prices on!

The store smells really bad and there were definitely flies just laying on top of the packages of raw chicken.The cashier was extremely pleasant. I wanted to give 5 stars just for her, but I couldn’t go higher than 2 because of the dead flies

Always open lines and super friendly and helpful staff. They're always cleaning and showing safe, sanitary practices.Same fast service, food is fresh with many selections. Still shop there frequently. Even with 100 degrees Temps, you need a sweater!😁

The best! the meats everything and the employees is very nice and helpful.went this morning and got meats I will be grilling to tomorrow morning if God willing l got other things.the ribs is beautiful and meaty and I Love it and you will to. Still go to there and buy my meats and do my shopping it's little higher but that's all rite with us its a great store and friendly people that work there and very cool.

Pretty good prices. Employees were kind. Store is old so they are limited to changing some of my complaints without remolding the place which is costly & would probably raise the prices. The set up of store is off. It's chopped up to me. Buggy I had the wheels where messed up & with floor ... well you could hear me 5 rows over. Store is cluttered, feels gloomy, dark & dirty. But it's clean, just old. However when I shop for food, I like to be in a bright, cheerful, clean environment. Their selection on some items is limited, but they do carry their own generic line of products. Check out system is old school... which means there's a cashier & bag boy who...are Kind, Appreciative, Speak, say TY, Come back, Yes ma'am/Sir & don't ask but just push your bagged groceries to your vehicle & place in them the way you like. (Without holding their hand out for tip)So just decide what is important to you when you shop.

Great store, very reasonable prices. Everytime I visit this store they always have a great sale on their meats. They stay well stocked and the friendly staff is always there for help. Outside is very clean as well as the inside. Quality food with quality service. I have nothing bad to say about this store.

It was a well organized store, clean and neat. Prices were below where I usually shop. I was not familiar with some of the brands and where things were located. If I shop there regularly, I will find it easier to navigate. I will go back even though it's a little out of my way.
