The flowers James did for my Mom were amazing. He saw our vision of what we wanted and got it perfect. My boys wanted pink roses for their Grandmother and it was beautiful. I highly recommend them. My picture does not do justice to the arrangements.

James is amazing. We are not from this area and needed to make arrangements for a casket spray for my mother-in-law's funeral. Based on the recommendation of the funeral home, I called James and gave him a vague idea of what I wanted. He asked me "Do you trust me?" and I said absolutely. Best decision I made. The casket spray was absolutely exquisite and better than I had imagined. Thank you, James, for the amazing job you did. You are a true artist.

I needed some flowers delivered yesterday for my daughters birthday and The Flower Shop was probably my best experience of all time. James was very helpful and courteous throughout the entire process. Best of all, he sent me a text to let me know the flowers had been delivered which in my many flower purchases experiences is amazing. That was a first for me. The last time I purchased flowers(not from The Flower Shop) I called to confirm delivery and they had forgot about my order. Consider me a customer for life. Thanks again.

I called James (owner) at 8:30am and asked him to prepare an arrangement for a funeral service at 3:00pm the same day. Not only was he willing to entertain my request, he did it with grace and kindness. He explained what he had available and what he could do in the time period he had and assured me everything would be taken care of. In a time like this, being able to have someone take care of things for you with kindness was much appreciated. I’ll be using The Flower Shop again and recommending it to others!

I can't say enough about James and the The Flower Shop!!! I called from out of town and was delighted at the hospitality, I could feel it through the phone!! A beautiful arrangement was sent to my friend's Mom after she had surgery. She was overjoyed and they definitely made her weekend!! This is a fantastic florist! They do excellent work. I recently needed a standing spray for a funeral. It was done exceptionally well, with careful attention to just the right colors. The flowers were fresh and gorgeous. I will be using The Flower Shop again when I have floral needs, and I highly recommend this establishment to others.

We had a memorial service and columnbarial for both of my husband’s parents at The National Cemetery in Montevallo this week. The funeral home recommended The Flower Shop and James was so helpful. He chose white and green flowers for the standing floral spray that represented them both so well. It was full of roses, delphiniums, lilies, spider mums, bells of Ireland, and lush greenery. We could not have been more pleased with how beautiful it was! James, thank you again for your professionalism and empathy at a time when we were grieving and needed guidance!

This is a wonderful flower shop and they do beautiful work. I have utilized this flower shop for many, many years. I have never seen a bad looking flower ever. Elizabeth the owner will give the most beautiful arrangement. She also has reasonable prices and is very caring about her flowers. She knows the rules of the National Vet cemetery and most of the cemeteries in the area. I would not chose another florist at all. Matter-of-fact I have used The Flower Shop to do business with even for flowers in my own state of Maryland. It seems as though there are very few within my area.

After buying flowers for 10 years from this shop. I stopped to get the usual fresh flower bouquet for my wife for the National Cemetary. It usually takes about 15 minutes. But today they did not have time they were to busy. I know it was a busy flower weekend with Mother’s Day being on Sunday. But really that’s two days away. The lesson learned. I found another flower shop in Alabaster and was able to purchase the bouquet with no problem. I will not be returning to this business. There are many alternatives and I’m sure they will not miss my 6-7 purchases per year. You lost a repeat customer for good. I encourage any Veteran to look elsewhere for flowers.

They could not have been kinder when helping us decide on flowers for my Father's arrangement. So helpful and knowledgeable of what would work for us since service would be local but burial would be a good distance away...Mr Smith even offered to call me if any of the flowers we requested were not available so we could decide on areplacement.

Elizabeth and staff did a beautiful job with the flowers for our wedding. We described what we wanted and they were perfect...better than our description. What made it even better was the price...very, very reasonable.

They were very helpful when I called to order flowers to be delivered to a family member's funeral service. They knew the rules of the Alabama National Cemetary regarding permitted flower arrangments and were able to help me pick something nice that would work there, and for the price they're delivering a very nice arrangment. Would use them again.

Beautiful arrangements, outstanding customer service. Stopped by to take some flowers to my in-laws grave at the National Cemetery. The store was closed but they saw us look in the window; as they were in the shop they made us an arrangement on the spot.

Not the friendliest place. Walking in, only one employee out of two greeted the customer, and that greeting was given from the back of the store. The second person never said anything and never looked up. The flowers were just OK. They didn't have much in stock, and didn't have single boxes for long stemmed flowers.....wasn't upscale....could have gone to Walmart or Publix for the roses and a nicer card.We came in last year and the same younger woman didn't speak and wasn't very friendly.The positive reviews are most likely from friends or long-time Montevallo residents who know them well. Won't be back again.
