This is our local grocer and we have been shopping here since it was the Piggly Wiggly. The best kept secret? The butchers put out fresh meats throughout the week and I have gotten some excellent deals. The staff are always kind and I enjoy shopping while listening to the 80s music they play throught the store.

I thought prices would be cheaper, I took note of prices of several items and they weren't any cheaper than other "major chain grocery stores". But if you factor in having to travel a ways to the nearest big grocery store I think it's perfect for the area!

The store always has what I'm looking for. I like to get caffeine free diet Cokes and 2 l, and they seem to always have them when I'm in there which is great. They also have really cheap bags of ice. Usually the lines are not bad either when you're checking out.

Burger King in Calera AL, please avoid this place at all cost, Really bad service, cold food, and with the owner paying eight people plus the cooks and folks in the back, to work, it should be a very good experience, but it wasn't. Everybody standing around, or sitting in booths either talking on phone or playing on their phone , bad deal

I was surprised to find some food that fit my normal shopping habits, which are picky. The prices are definitely right. Most everything is budget oriented. But their fresh produce is surprising, as well as many other items which might not be expected. It won't replace my normal shopping trips. But it's well worth a visit to get to know. And the staff is really nice.

Better prices than Lucky's on some things after you add the 10%. Decent fruits & veggies. Great price on some of the wines. My fave is nearly $2.00 cheaper than Lucky's! The staff is Super friendly!

I was standing in line and this cashier (Audrey R.) came over to get me to check out in her line so I wouldn't have to wait. She saw that I had trouble finding an item so she walked new all the way to the back of the store to find it. I lost a $100 bill and walked back across the store to find it. She saw what I was doing and found it for me. When I thanked her, she said the other cashier found it and turned out in. It's rare that I come across anyone anywhere with honesty and work ethic like this young lady (Audrey R.) We could all learn a thing or two from her.

Love this little grocery store. It has great prices and the employees are very friendly. The butcher does a great job. The cuts of meats are better than many of the higher priced grocery stores.

Sadly, Piggly Wiggly in Montevallo, Al. has been closed for years. They were a great store with a very nice meat selection and the only store where I could get Mince Pies by Sara Lee for my Mother's Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners.

The store was a little dirty and the prices are a little more than you think they are because they do add 10% to the marked price. The staff was not very pleasant. The selection was not great. I give it to stars because it's not the worst I've ever seen.

There prices are great and the check out people are real nice . Only thing I could say negative is the younger gentlemen that I guess would be the attendants boss is rude let's his extra key holder spot go to his head and is rude. But the store is awesome

The butcher in the meat department named Brian is very helpful and extremely nice and courteous. He takes customer service to another level by going the extra mile walk to get you the best cut of meat for named your money.

Three stars, and the reasons are as follows. One they have the needed items and usally quick about getting you in and out. Two they are conveniently located next to Fred's. Three their meat is good and consistent but not top quality. The negatives are that they have no selection of cheese, among many other items. I myself prefer to drive a little further to Sav Mor in Calera.

A good store for those not able or willing to travel to a more populated area. A mix of high and low prices. Selection is serviceable but not very satisfying. Most of the staff are friendly.
