I liked the renovation but their produce area was small.A 5 plus goes to their employees. One woman walked me to where the cheese cakes were. I told her I could just find it with directions. She was awesome!

Of 9 items I intended to purchase 5 were priced incorrectly. People do not have time to police price changes. Don't worry, I probably will not be back but poor folk spend less so you aren't losing much.And please spare me / us the generic response.

Went into the store to pick up a few Gro n a couple nice Ribeyes . Went to meat dept n looked in the display case found several porterhouse ribeyes already cut sealed prepared to be sold for $21+ a piece but dept was closed .so I walked back to the front n found the manager on duty n politely asked if someone would retrieve a couple steaks out of the display case for me n He quickly said that the meat dept is closed n no he can't again I asked n said they are on display to be sold n again a more angry voice he said I said no their closed n I'm not doing it. I walked off. Manager on duty is very Rude n unprofessional al .won't shop there agai

It's decent. Clean and has great prices and variety. Some employees are amazing, some are dead inside (usually high schoolers/college students). The only issues I really have are other customers who tend to be very rude. They will block the aisle/product, and if you politely say excuse me, they look at you like you insulted their mother and refuse to move.

They have everything you'd need. They have a decent meat selection and a great deli. The deli usually has great options on food to eat but the deli only stays open from 10:30 til 2 so you have to catch it before its too late.

Why can we not have a decent grocery store??? We went in to buy fresh grated Parmesan cheese. They did not have any. When we asked an employee he said he didn’t know and didn’t even bother to try! The place smells bad, the meat is tough and poor quality. The only consistent item that is good is when you have fresh local produce! I would love not to have to drive to Publix or Walmart to shop!!

Went down hill after the last manager left. This is a Very sensitive thing to speak of but, a few others and myself have caught the American American manager looking at his young female employees and young female customers in an inappropriate way. By any means this is not a review about racism but, of a fact about what has been seen. Also, I have found expired foods and the floors are not kept up like it used to be. The good thing about this place is the prices are not bad on a lot of things.

I really enjoy shopping at Luckys. The staff is always friendly and working hard! I never see them just standing around. The selection is good and the prices aren't horrible. I do wish they had a larger produce area with more of a selection though.

I will NEVER shop here again. I went two days ago and bought 125 dollars worth of stuff. Upon getting home, I’m putting my things up and notice there is a hole in the bottom on my bread, then I had also bought I believe “food club” brand pizza dough. Oh my god! Made two pizzas and the crust was DISGUSTING! they both of them in the trash. My whole family was disappointed! Then on to the THIRD disappointment, I bought a red velvet cake is was 14 or 15 dollars. It’s mine and my oldest sons favorite. I gave my son a piece who comes back and says something is wrong with the cake! So I got myself some! When I tell you that this cake taste like what I’d imagine mold would taste like! I’m about to vomit thinking about it. And the smell! Oh my lord it stinks so bad! Checked the expiration and it says 9/14/21 so according to the label it’s not expired. I will never be back to this store. EVER

1star for your closing Managers terrible Customer Service at the register. When you bag an order, you do not leave it behind the counter and walk away after the transaction. We had to go behind the counter by the register to retrieve our bag of items. We were never greeted or spoken to either. This was at 7:30 pm. Bye bye un Lucky's, we will take our $$ elsewhere.

I was blown away with this supermarket.Large selection for a fraction of the cost of Walmart.It was clean and well stocked.Most of the employees were friendly, my cashier was less than warm but overall the store was awesome and I'm recommending it to everyone!

Don't care for this grocery store , it needs updated desperately. Selection sucks, store always has a funny smell. And prices to high wish they would have kept the store they had in alabaster. The pic n save has alot better selection and prices. And everyone there is always friendly and courteous.

3 out of the last 5 visits I have been overcharged. Once for cereal, once I didn't receive the advertised special on drinks, and most recently on toilet paper. Two of these times, the product wasn't recognized when rung up. The cashier simply guessed a price she thought was fair and I was overcharged compared to every other grocer. I'll never return. Get this store together. I shouldn't be punished because your management team cannot load prices into the system or even put them on the wall with the product. Just one more reason to make the trip to Walmart where it's already substantially cheaper.

Management is rude. Bathrooms are gross. Meat is questionable. There are wines, coffee, and dairy products to name a few that are half the price over at Pick n Save.

I have bought milk so many times...... 85% of the time .... the milk is bad. The date on the container is good .... however the contents in the container is bad. Maybe its their mode of transporting the milk.

Lucky's has been in Montevallo for many years. The prices are what you would expect for a small town with little competition. Lucky's post their ads on their website and facebook, but questions / comments are never addressed or answered. Watch your receipt, I have personally noted mistakes at least 90% of the time, always in Lucky's favor. UPDATE- Over ring on 2 items in Lucky's favor, I spent around $80 dollars and there is always a mistake. The African-American man wearing a wedding band sacking my groceries did not speak to me or acknowledge my question. When I was unloading my groceries, I noticed he had put heavy things on top of my vegetables like tomatoes, cucumbers, squash and bell peppers which makes me very angry. I was made to feel very unwelcome, but it's all good, Sav-Mor is only 2 blocks away.

Had an amazing experience today at Montevallo FoodLand. Trey was excellent, he helped me reach items on the shelf that a person my age shouldnt be reaching for, he pushed my grocery cart to my car and loaded my items into my car for me. He went out of his way to make me feel welcome and foster all the unnecessary needs I have even though they arent included in his job description

I sure the same experience as the person who said had the uneasy feeling someone was following them I had someone follow me around the store into the bathroom and out in the parking lot so I go now to the other store down the road where Piggly wiggly used to be besides the way I look at it the reason it's called Lucky's it's cuz you're lucky if you have any money left when you come out that place

This store has gone downhill fast.cant keep any stock.I tried 2days n a row to get plain old icecream sandwiches.they get enough sale items for bout 1/2 the demand on a regular basis.I feel they look out for themselves ($) rather than the customer
