What can I say. It's West marine... Your going to pay for whatever you buy there. But they don't sale "rinkydinky" stuff there. It's all quality... Furthermore, they are the only boat outfitters in town, that have it on the shelf...

Selection is pretty good. Prices within the norm. Sales person couldn't find our account/rewards and because of that said he couldnt extend us our BoatUs discount. Disappointed as when we got home we were able to access our account on the first try.

Other than all West Marine's high prices, this place is very good, with friendly and helpful people. Better prices would make it 5 stars. One other setback is that it's 5 or 6 miles to any decent shopping. A plus for boaters is one can get full repairs and pullouts with self repairs nearby. A boater on mobile bay can dock and fuel at any one of a number of marinas on Dog River, which are next door to West Marine. West Marine can also order parts nationwide from other WM's w/free shipping. There are two good local restaurants nearby, and a Dollar General 1 mile south. For transient cruiser's someone nearby would be more than willing to drive them to town for shopping. I've seen that happen a number of times!
