One of the worst experiences at a WalMart tonight! With already having to deal with no cashier, the male employee supposed to be watching the self check out area was more interested on what he was playing on his phone.We had moving boxes that didn’t scan correctly and locked us out from finishing our purchases. And the other two customer in self check out also became locked out at the same time so all three of us could not finish checking out. Several minutes went by after hitting the help button, then finally my wife went over to the guy on his phone and said we need some help. By that time another employee come all the way across from the other side of the store to start assisting me.ST#00853 terminal #28336663.3/21/24 21:12:30.It’s sad because this used to be the best Walmart in Mobile.

Over the years this Walmart has gotten A lot better. Management and Customer Service here WAS horrible but they have gotten a lot better. The store is a lot cleaner and the associates is willing to help.Good Job Walmart

Not much to say about Walmart that hasn’t already been said, written or reported online. This isn’t the worst Walmart you’ve seen but it isn’t the nicest either. This is a fairly large store and tends to be well stocked. It’s also quite busy but isn’t in the worst neighborhood.

Exceptional floor layout with everything being easy to find and easy to access. The staff is friendly and always willing to help you with finding a certain item or checking to see if they have what you're asking for. Without a doubt the best Walmart Supercenter to go to here in Mobile, AL!

I placed an online order on 1/15/24 through the app to pick up my groceries at the Walmart on685 Schillinger Rd S, Mobile, AL 36695I got there, and there were no open pick- up parking spaces so I kept circling for 20 minutes and finally parked in a non pick up parking space. Called to let them know the situation but they never picked up the call. So I go into the store and speak to customer service and was told they couldn't do anything. So I finally leave without my groceries after having 40 minutes invested in waiting.I reschedule the pick up for the next day, arrive at 5:25p.m., got in a pickup parking space and let them know I'm there and the parking spot number through the Walmart app. I wait for 20 minutes then finally call the phone number on the pickup sign and the lady I spoke with verified the parking number to me and I told her yes that was the spot, then she proceeds to tell me I wasn't checked in!!! How in the world did she know what space number I was in??🤔 Perhaps she doesn't know how the app works when you check in. She told me they would be out in about 5 or 10 minutes. Another 30 mins go by, nothing. Call customer service and they said they'll see if they can get someone from that department to pick up the line,I waited for 26 mins before giving up entirely. Never again

Thanks GOD Aldi came to Mobile, in addition to prices going up and up every cple months, always watch your receipt when scanning in walmart, happen a lot that prices at machine are higher then shown on item, for ex. Today, soil shown at 5.47$, the self service cashier was showing 7.47$, staff and manager did not want to take liability even if I went take picture and showed it to them...false marketing and misleading pricing is not legal Walmart!!

Curbside pickup is horrible! I ordered a pillow and waited over an hour to get it!There also is a number you call when you get into the spot and no answer! Good straight to voicemail every time! I would not recommend doing curbside pickup at this location! I eould have just went in and got it myself and saved half the time! Very disappointed

Good place to shop. However, they run out of sale items quickly. Supply chain issues just like everyone else. Very low staff for assistance. Not every department has personnel to help you. Managers must be paged to unlock various product cases. No training for product sales. You have to know what you want. Price checks seem to be a hassle, and you are told to use the application software. Don't want to get started on what it's like to work there.

Common sense would tell you if the store manager had any , to increase the amount of spaces needed for your pick up section. Common sense is not common. You can tell when the store Manager is weak they are not smart. Move the section and increase the spaces common sense people. Horrific store management

So frustrating shoping at Wal-Mart on Shillinger road in Mobile, AL. So often they are out of items on the shelf that I often stop for. Went in for only 6 items tonight & of the 6 they were out of 3 & have been for the past 2 weeks. Items were 1 gal. G.V distilled vinegar, G.V. tuna in 5oz. Pouch & G.V. 2 L. Diet twist up. Ugh!!!

I love the products they sell, especially if you're a college student, but I never see cashiers. This is why I rarely go to Walmart anymore. One plus with this Walmart (and why I'm being nice enough to give it 2 stars) is that they have security in the parking lot, day and night. Other than that, the employees never seem to do their job, because I found a bad mess on the laundry isle that was neglected. I don't like shopping at Walmart anymore unless I absolutely have to. Cashiers are being replaced with these self-checkout lines that are not even optional anymore. Now, customers have to do the job for themselves. I'd rather go to Publix, Winn-Dixie, Rouse, and Target if I need anything, because at least they are hiring cashiers and giving people jobs.

I like this Wal-Mart store. They have plenty of basic groceries and household items for decent prices. They also have some decent basic pet supplies. I like the self check out lanes. It can be a little bit busy since it is a good popular store for so many items for your household and gifts and holiday supplies. They also have good cookies and desserts in bakery area.

All the parking spots for curbside pickup are ALWAYS FULL, and it's mostly in-store shoppers parking there to be closer to the door. SO FRUSTRATING. Management needs to figure out a solution.

Rarely has shelves stocked, isles are always cluttered with pallets that haven't been priced/stocked, all employees around self checkout are overly suspicious, wasting time & energy scrupulating my skills at THEIR job. They could've just checked me out the first time instead of rechecking me after I've done it once. If yall lack that much trust, just go back to check out w/ employees. Gash!
