This store needs better management in place. Their department hours are useless and it's not saving consumers time or money when their traveling in vain. Calling is pointless because I can never get an answer for the life of me. They should not have a money center because it's like pulling teeth trying to catch someone working in the department and other employees just stand around and watch you waiting without ever asking to be of any assistance to you.

Since when they start closing at 10 on Sundays. Online it say they open Sunday til 11pm on the door of the building it’s say the same open til 11pm. I just need to get one thing and that’s bread. Two men one black and one white old told me they was closed. The old looking black police man was rude then tried to come to my car to apologize. I want be giving my business to them no more. I have pictures and proof of everything. That’s false allegations. And bad business. I got there at 10:04pm… it didn’t have no reason they was closing early or anything. I asked the police man why and the white old man… and they couldn’t give me a reason they was closing early. Waste of time and gas. Sad part I checked on online for the time before I left home

It's only convenient at this point. The lines are always long. Conveyor belts don't work. Always gotta park far due to unavailable spots. Customer service sucks especially at the customer service desk 🙄. Where the check machine is always down. Not to mention that items online are never actually in the store. I stood on one aisle for 25 minutes looking for poppyseed dressing. Then they're always stocking and taking up room and none of the workers can ever tell you where anything is accurately.

I was able to find everything I was looking for and I didn't have to wait in line long at all so I was able to get in and out pretty fast.

This place got everything I need, I hate most Wal-Mart, most cause it's crowded and people always walking exactly where I'm trying to walk, not that many people bundled up together, I go in, get some granola bars, Gatorade, energy drinks, just couple of snack, employees are cool and chill and helpful, love this place, it's most close whenever I get off work, I come here to get snacks so I love it 👍🙌

I’m very disappointed in the management at this location, specifically with the front-end. About two or three nights ago, I went to this location on Government Blvd. around 9:30 or 10:00 pm. I was literally like the only person in there, besides the staff. After grabbing a few items I proceeded to self checkout. Before I could start scanning my things, this woman who I can only assume was a manager got on the loud speaker and requested a security scan for the whole store. Now, if there were other people in the store, I wouldn’t think anything of it, for apparent reasons. However, the likelihood of a security scan being called as soon as I walk to the self check out is a bit obvious. I mean, she might as well stood next to me as I checked myself out. She didn’t care to be discreet about it either. I guess she thought I couldn’t hear because I had on my headphones. But it was very much profiling. As long as I’ve shopped at Walmart and used self checkout, I’ve never had this happen to me. And go figure, she was a Black woman. I say that because I am also a Black woman. She then tries to ask me about how I’m doing when I looked her in the eye. She has a blonde, very low haircut. God forbid she has a son. All hell would break loose if someone did that to him. Other than her despicable action, I like this location. It’s very clean and quiet.

All Walmarts are open until 11pm but I guess this one closed early tonight because y’all want to go home?? Don’t we all… sad can’t depend on y’all to be open when I needed to get formula for my newborn. Also, if hours did change then I suggest changing them online as well as the door etc

Don't even think about using this store for online grocery. Chances are your ordered will be cancelled, they'll lose it or if you're lucky you'll get it a day later. The store will not pick up when I call or if they do they hang up on you. No, it's not a phone line problem as I can actually hear store noise before they hang up. My order is 2 hours late currently and neither the online grocery department nor the main number will pick up. 2 managers are aware of the issues with my order and still nothing has been done, not even a call made to me to update me on the situation. Corporate needs to hire mystery shoppers to make them aware of the issues they need to address. Customer service is just as important as low prices. I need my groceries!!

Easy parking wasn't as busy after 5 today I was in and out in less than 10 minutes no long lines either the parking lot looked full I almost keep going but once I got inside it wasn't as bad. I did curbside today so I wouldn't have to deal with the busy store

Was that this Walmart on 4/4/22 my child fell over a stack of water an employee saw her fall she split her chin wide open the employee that saw her did not even bother asking if she was okay. Her father asked more than one person where the bathroom was so he can clean her up all they said all the employee said was it's over by the pharmacy mind you my child is screaming at the top of her lungs didn't ask that the child was okay the only people that were concerned about my child were customers it's rather pathetic and I do stress on the work pathetic that the employee that was supposedly doing stock who saw my child fall kept walking back and forth in front of this child didn't bother asking how she was doing ignored her and the blood pouring out of her face. What kind of employees is Walmart hiring heartless people who are lacking compassion do not care put yourself in my place how would you feel if it was your child or heaven forbid your grandparent who fell and hurt themselves would you not want someone to ask if they were okay? 2 hours later and four stitches at the ER and we are home what a wonderful day but it's rather pathetic that Walmart's employees have no care in the world if a child hurts themselves and to top it off the supposed officer who was sitting at the front door was sleeping didn't bother wondering why she was screaming as her dad was taking her out the door didn't stop him didn't wonder if he could have been stealing my child so why do we even have officers at the door shut the officer of asked questions he should have even asked if my child was okay but no he sat there sleeping this is what you call completely utterly pathetic Walmart y'all need to do better and get some people in there who actually care

On the plus side, the store is usually well-stocked and prices are very good. On the negative side, it can be quite crowded with both customers and stockers, making it difficult to access items for purchase. Also, many times I've been there, there were not enough open registers, making for slow checkouts. My advice is to go early. I've also had a better experience at other locations.

Parking lot could use some TLC. There was trash around, really needs some pavement work done, carts were all over Parking lot in parking places, and cart placement racks were all off center and over line in some places into parking spot. Inside was ok, nothing to brag about. Fairly easy to navigate and find what I needed on first visit to location. I'd say a good percentage of produce I personally looked at was of decent quality. Main issue seemed to be more likely mishandling or storage because it was a lot of bruising or slice/cuts in it from either box/container or stems from other of same produce overpacked or not stored in most efficient ways. I do recommend checking expiration/sell by dates and the like (keep in mind they don't all mean the same the same thing- Google for more information). I found many items past their dates in more than on of those categories. Also inspect product packages. I'm not used to having this issue but had noticed water leaking as shopping and gave to employee and replaced and noticed at checkout another item with slit through bag. Cashier took item held my self checkout for me and took waiting customer in my lane at her podium so I could go get replacement. She was quite helpful and nice though I wouldn't go as far as welcoming or friendly. This might be because it was a little busy and they had her on all self checkout and a few others were standing talking when I was leaving the others finally opened register to help her and the waiting customers. There wasn't a single employee run register open during my checkout time (from waiting-till leaving ). They do have security I saw outside and inside both Walmart and local law enforcement walking around the store. Don't know if this is a all the time thing or the area or new Walmart thing I'm new to Mobile. There were like 7 between both during my 30 min and it's a tiny store. It seemed odd. I've seen store of this size have 1-2 personal and 1 law before usually that amount would be a full Walmart not Walmart market. I know I heard employee say the presence was higher than usual. Overall items were in well stock except water (at least in aisles I visited) but I've learned there is a issue with mobile water so likely a supply /demand upkeep issue. If you are looking for out of the usual you'll find limited to no options. Examples would be non dairy milk options or food/meal prep items of other cultures. For you basic staples and your usual run of the mill weekly groceries, basic household stuff, and bathroom/otc medical care it has you covered. There is a gas station on site though for a Walmart gas station I saw cheaper gas elsewhere same day which in my travels has usually not been the case. So where I would usually have assumed Walmart =cheaper gas prices I wouldn't here check gas buddy first if you really want to be sure. Would I recommend? I'm neutral, I'll likely return there were handful of minor things and there is room for improvements for sure in many areas but there really was nothing that pushed me over line completely either way so I gave a low 3. Because to be honest if I find a store within reasonable distance, decent prices, but doesn't have all these piling up small things that are just going to lead to bigger issues down the line I will 100% switch my service vs only partially. Hopefully, since Walmart is not a broke company they will consider making adjustments not only to infrastructure, service, and item quality but invest in their employees (how you treat your employees trickles down and tend to show in customer service and work quality. And Walmart, let's just say you might want evaluate from the top down).

Very clean place, not huge selection but everything looked fresh and the people were very helpful. Most other places were out of the spiral ham with the purple wrapping, which it's the best one and I get it every year but they still had some right before Thanksgiving. Didn't take pictures of the place, only the food I cooked for that occasion and no pictures of the ham since I saved it for Christmas.

This Walmart is my go to Walmart. I've been going here since they opened. I've never had a problem until today. I shop here almost, if not every day! When shopping, you shop for the better price, and I picked up bacon that said $4.48. Ok thats what I got. Get to the register it rang up $9.98. Had someone check it, she said it would up to the manager to change the price. Ok the manager on duty, Alesia came up and it was, No I can't do it. Take it I shop there everyday. She could make that $5 difference happen. I work in management and have been for years. And I do what ever it takes to make my customers happy. I will be happy to take my business elsewhere where they appreciate the customer.

An update to an earlier review of this Walmart store: These Walmart employees continue to be unfriendly and unhelpful. I tried to get the attention of an employee 4 ft away from me to hand to her a bracelet that was on the floor and she ignored me, walking away like I wasn't even there. Kudos to her for her ability to be so customer unfriendly at such a close range. The parking lot continues to be badly lighted and feels completely unsafe. I'm a big guy who can take care of myself and I made sure not to let my guard down in the parking lot area. If you need milk, bread, or something else extremely basic, then you may find it here in a pinch may or may not be true. There is always so much merchandise in boxes, crowded in the aisles awaiting to be stocked.Walmart, there is no excuse for having a dirty store and this store is dirty! The floors are always grimy and everything looks completely out of place. I suppose it's better than nothing but only one step above nothing.

The employees were FRIENDLY! I asked one employee where where the French's fried onions were and she took me straight to them. She did not point or tell me which aisle. She walked me right to them and did it with a smile. The store is always cleaned and organized! I'm so thankful that they are in our neighborhood!

The pharmacy was rude and when I was trying to talk to the pharmacist he just wanted to know what I wanted rung me up and walked away. The girl that started my transaction was rude and stepped away. And now self check out not so self. I had 35 bulk items and was not allowed to go to self check out. There were no lines and very few people shopping. I thought they have the self check 3to your convenience. So the cashier I went to was rude whole purpose I perfer self check out. Also the website and store hours on the doors say 8 p.m. they close well they close up by 730 p.m. I mean seriously

I hate coming to this store. The store as a whole (workers and shoppers) are very welcoming- unless you are white. It's a very unpleasant environment and I haven't had one good visit over the many visits I've taken over the last three months. I will be taking a longer trip for my food, the hour saved isn't worth putting up with racism.

This is a wonderful neighborhood Walmart. The staff is always stocking the shelves so they are never out of anything. I especially love the online pickup service. They bring everything to your vehicle and load it too. If you need to make a quick shopping trip this is the place for you. It is very convenient ... no long lines like larger Walmart stores.

Short on registers every time I go. Went this evening had 2 automated and two human lines during 5 o’clock rush. It’s like this every single day. Lines ten to fifteen deep, joke of a store with a food desert for produce half the time too boot. Theodore neighborhood market is completely automated and seems like a Publix compared too this garbage store.

The store is clean, prices are somewhat high, but excellent customer service. Just wish they would have more lines open. Between 3pm and 6pm people are getting off from work and stopping by the grocery stores, you should have more lines open. Also there were workers restocking merchandise on various isles, causing traffic jams. Couldn't this be done overnight or when the store is not so crowded/busy. In other words not at peak time?

Just pulled up at 10:02pm to approach a locked door and rude workers straight up ignoring me as they just look at me through the door. They are listed as open til 11 online, as well as on the front sliding door. I went out of my way to come to this Walmart because they were "open" only to find they were not and no one could even approach me to tell me why. LIST YOUR HOURS ACCURATELY

Very convenient neighborhood location. Well-stocked. Good prices. If you happen to go at a very busy time of day, checkout lines can be long. Sometimes they either forget to turn on their active register lights, or the lights are not working. Customer service section is good.

There had been an order of 2 items placed online. One of the items had been placed in a pickup via Wal-Mart, the other cancelled via Wal-Mart. A notification came about the pickup would be held for 4 days. Before the 4th day arrived, the button that would allow you to have it ready upon arrival was hit before leaving to pick it up. Upon arrival, there had been a wait that had been well over any item ready being brought out. The items brought out were not even what been ordered, nor the right size. Decided to cancel order due to lack of competency. The order that eventually had been brought out had items we never use.

Occasionally out of stock on a few items I want, or they simply don't stock what I need at all or replace it with another brand I'm not fond of. Otherwise excellent store, very convenient, helpful workers in every department, and no place closer worth buying my weekly groceries at as well as putting gas in my vehicle. One store can't have or do it all, so the 4 star rating has more to do with replacing items I like with ones I do not.

The customer service is terrible!! I was here on 10/4/19 waiting 3 hours for my online grocery pick up!! I didn’t speak with management who was paged numerous of times and when she finally came she assisted the other 2 customers and I wasn’t even acknowledged! So finally after waiting another manager who wasn’t from this store tried his best to help me which I greatly appreciated as well; but by this not being his home store he did his best! Just to add the other customers were apologized too and given something for their troubles while I received NOTHING! I was told by another employee to come back the following day to speak with Yolanda who is the assistant manager and who was also the same manager on duty during my horrible experience. I’ve been waiting on Yolanda for 25 minutes only to be FINALLY toldThat she is on lunch! So ANGRY is an understatement as to how I’m feeling at the very moment!
