This store is new and it’s nice. Well stocked, well lit and has a lot of features such as deli/sushi station, quick grab lunch section, bakery, etc.

I love this Publix! Besides being so nice and kind. Y'all have a fabulous deli. I like the wild mushroom and lobster bisque myself. I do wish y'all would get your store brand hydration multiplier in watermelon back. It was so good and such a great bargain.

I don't know where to even start, but this review is the exact reason I will never go to any other grocery store.Last night I tried to grocery shop with a screaming baby, as a single mom everything becomes a chore. I get to self check out, trying to scan and calm her and I was becoming visibly upset. After about 15 minutes of finally getting everything scanned I then realize they don't take cash and I did not have my card. I then just completely lost it, I had a mental breakdown that I knew was coming. Without even a second thought these employees jumped into action to help anyway they could. The manager that was working yesterday evening around 6pm 1/28, is truly an incredible person, along with the young man working the self checkout. I wish I had gotten names of these employees. Thank you doesn't even do it justice to how truly thankful I am for everyone that helped me. I will find a way to personally thank you all. This store has hands down the best customer service out of any business I have ever been in. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

I visited Publix the other day to get dinner for me and my husband. The salad bar wasn't stocked up. The spinach and lettuce were low. I was able to make a salad, and it was delicious. The service is always great! Me and my husband ate our dinner in the parking lot and we were very pleased.

This Publix opened on September 21, 2022. It's an addition to the already other 4 Publix in the mobile area, excluding Spanish Fort and Fairhope. The store is/was well organized, arrangements of fruits and vegetables as well as meats and in the aisles were aesthetucally pleasing. Every team member and manager I came across was very pleasant, smiled and were all professional. I was even offered help to take my two bags to the car, I found that to be above and beyond and so that builds on customer/guest loyalty.They boast two floors, the upper is in the front of the supermarket and is a dining area, seems they anticipated their deli being very busy and it is.This store, from what I understand is one of the few that carries pool supplies, in West Mobile where polls are a staple, this addition is well thought out. They also carry Ezeikel breads, Elmhurst tree nut "milks" (only two ingredients in every box) and other items previously carried by Whole Foods.The parking lot is expansive and unlike other malls/lots that have two way traffic, this has one way thoroughfares, much better for safety and will definitely mitigate vehicular incidences.

I love the staff of the actual store regardless of prices being higher than anywhere else. However, there's a guy in the pharmacy that moves SO SLOW. I stopped by to pick up meds for my daughter and the lady told me to come back in an hour bc she had to modify the amount due to stock issues. I told her that was fine. When I came back it was a guy at the window. Not only did he take forever with the 2 cars in front of me, but he is acting like he didn't have the meds ready or even knew I'd be picking them up. On top of that, he's taking forreeevvveerrrr to do the simplest task. As I type this I'm counting 4 cars behind me who will wait at least 40 min. This is absolutely ridiculous. I could've went inside and gotten the meds faster.

They have a great selection of produce. I went on a Saturday night and was delighted to find plenty of friendly, helpful employees. Not only was there a cashier to ring me up, but also someone baking my groceries and putting them in my cart!

Best Publix I've been too. There is a little area up stairs that you can see the whole store from. You can eat lunch up stairs, they also have a little patio if you would like to eat outside. They have a big selection of things like international goods, meal kits, and more.

I can't believe I'm writing a review for a grocery store lol, but I've never seen anything quite like this. I was SO impressed with the design and layout. This Publix well organized and packed with products on every corner - there's not another store like it in Mobile.The second-floor seating area is what really prompted me to take pictures of this store... The upstairs seating idea makes so much sense since there's so much wasted vertical space in grocery stores.A nice bonus are the layout changes:- Bakery now has its own dedicated space; no longer crammed with Deli & Produce. A portion of the bakery is now self-service- Raw meat is now where the deli and seafood is- Dairy is now next to the bakery and spans along the entire back wall; its former location in aisle 16 is where beer, wine, and spirits are located (more appropriately next to the pharmacy)- Produce section is MUCH larger- A refreshed 'Publix Service' space dedicated to returns and online order pickups, with its own door leading to outside the store.- The Deli, Hot bar, sub station, and grab & go is now sectioned off as an island beside the produce section- First Publix in Mobile to introduce self checkout! They don't have the annoying scales either, so you can place items wherever after bagging them- Wider aisles- Outdoor (balcony) seating- New cart designs- Florals have a more dedicated space (with their own refrigerator)Overall, I think my favorite thing about this store was how detailed and thought-out the new layout was. As you shop, you can feel the care and consideration that was invested into the store.

Like all Publix, this store has EXCELLENT customer service. Something hard to find in other grocery chains, or anywhere now days. Aisles are wide, store is well stocked and very clean. Love the organic selections (wish there were more in produce) Pricey but do have BOGO'S.

AJ in the deli is such a patient and sweet guy. I had a lot of questions and special requests and he accommodated every single one, happily. Publix, I hope you realize the gem you have. Customer service at its finest.

I've been using this pharmacy for a few months. I have now moved all of my prescriptions from Walgreens to here. Simply put, this Publix has literally been a joy to work with. The staff is friendly, attentive, helpful, patient and professional. We are moving to the Birmingham area soon, and because of my experience here I will be using Publix up there as my pharmacy.

This supersede Publix all ready high quality and standard s..The staff are very polite with the smallest of exchanges...Love the atmosphere during day shift as well as evening..No bad reviews at all ..Just the staff alone ..I enjoy my shopping experience..Jason, Jennifer, Jennifer , Bryant, Sky, Kristen,,Richard just name few..Whomever the mangers that give direction daily.. I love Publix because of their customer service and products and just overall a wonderful store. I come here every so often in the morning and most of the staff greets me even when I’m not looking at them. It makes me smile and feel welcome… but this same worker routinely says nothing to me even when I’m the only one checking out in self checkout. I’ve watched her greet people who come up after me as I’m leaving and people minding their own business. It could just be me but I tested it out and came on an off day or not so often and I makes me walk out shaking my head. Ok I’m big on customer service since it’s apart of my job. It won’t keep me from coming it just makes me wonder….. hmmmmm am I invisible?

Please never try to be a good samaritan at this Publix location. I found $16 in the store that someone lost. I turned the money into the store and asked them to update me on whether or not the rightful owner claimed the cash. In the past, I’ve found money in the store and turned it in as well. When the money wasn’t claimed, I donated it to the poor box at my church. My plan was to do the same thing in this instance.A manager at the store, Meghan, essentially accused me of trying to swindle the store out of the $16. Anyone who has ever shopped at Publix (even for a sale) knows it is not the kind of store you shop at if you’re feening to find $16, let alone only spend $16.Meghan was crude, condescending, and a poor example of customer service.

All associates have been really nice. However, this is for the pharmacy. They went above and beyond for my dad's expensive prescription. Saved him around $80 on just one prescription. Thank you so much for taking the time to help. You are so appreciated.

Overall, great store and shopping experience. My only complaint is the number of checkout lanes open during certain times of the day. I normally go to Publix between the hours of 9 and 2. On average, only one checkout is available. On Monday, this was the case. There were two people ahead of me with fully loaded carts. I waited 15 minutes in line, which is quite a bit of time. The cashier was very fast, but that's not the point. The point is that in those 15 minutes, I saw multiple managers that could have easily requested another lane to be opened. This is substandard customer service. The point is not having to wait so long to check out. It is why does this continue to happen every single week since this new Publix has opened.

I tried there Mardi Gras wings from the deli and the wings were over seasoned to the point they were salty, and some of them were under cooked and still raw on the inside.
