The staff is very kind & are great conservationist. BUT for at least 6 months the drive through speaker has been INCREDIBLY difficult to understand the baristas. I imagine they also have a hard time hearing/understanding on there end. $6+ for a drink is too much money to recieve the wrong order. I can’t blame the barista but fully think their equipment needs fixing! Disappointing management has allowed it to go on this long.

My first experience with PJ’s Coffee, I went through the drive-thru, it was quick and friendly, and Amanda was patient with me and my questions about drinks. I ended up getting the Peach Palmer. Goodness, it’s delicious. I was feeling ready for a summer picnic. The girls at the window were friendly too. It’s good to have a friendly team, and it makes me want to come back. My only complaint is too much ice, so I’ll ask for less. :) Worthy of 5 Stars, I’ll pass the good word to my friends to come by.

The first time I had their beignets they were awesome. The second time they were not fresh. The third time, they were fresh again. I thought to try again and boy boy boy, they were not fresh. The sign says fresh to order. It looks like they dropped them again and burnt them. They were super dry and brittle. I will never go back here.

I get a good laugh when people complain about the prices. Like ok? If you don’t want to spend just say that; It was cheaper than Starbucks lol. Anyways my experience here was lovely. They were out of the velvet ice but offered something else to try and it was fabulous. Yes the line was long but worth the wait. It was great and I would come again to try more things on their menu. Thank you guys!

First time at this location and got some iced lattes (white chocolate, mocha) and beignets for breakfast. The coffees were just sweet enough with good quality, freshly brewed coffee flavor. The beignets were thicker than expected; fluffy and layered but not as airy as I'm used to. They were fresh as well but could've used a bit more powdered sugar, as they looked more wet than powdery. Drive thru service was friendly and faster than expected.

First time here. Picked up a order for my daughter and me. The drink was make incorrectly. Coffee is subpar. 20 for biscuit and 2 coffees. Clearly no whip, sprinkles, or drizzle which is how this drink comes.

Love coming to this place since starbucks are just another corporate troll. I love the velvet drinks. Yes they are sweet but if asked with additional shot they balance out. The waffle things they have are good too. I even came today for a special treat for my birthday. The staff is always nice and one of them even knows my name after just meeting her once. Reminds me of the mom and pop coffee shops back home.Dietary restrictions: Milk and me are like oil and water

I really wanted to like this place. I’m excited Mobile has a new coffee shop and this place is right across the street from me, however I ordered an iced latte with no flavoring and WOW… I couldn’t believe the espresso they were using was that subpar for the price (around five dollars). I guess I can describe it as tasting stale and acidic… They were so close. I hope they decide to serve single original beans, or at the very least get beans from a higher quality vendor.

Went through the drive-thru. Coffee was tasty but super sweet. If you don't want it that way, make sure to tell them! The service was top-notch and FAST!! Definitely will be returning!

Really enjoyed this place. Can order via a kiosk. Beignets were great. My frozen coffe was smooth and very flavorful. Go check them out if you need a break from Starbucks.

This really disappoints me to write this review, considering I absolutely normally love PJs coffee. But ever since the one in Mobile opened I’ve had an issue every time I’ve went to their location. The cinnamon rolls and the muffins are never cooked all the way through, the coffee that we order is always made incorrectly, and today she waited until after I ordered to tell that they were only taking cash. Really not a great way to start off a brand new business. We have an issue every time we go to this location. Now if you want a good PJs experience and are willing to make the drive for it, I suggest going to the SPANISH FORT location. We never have an issue there. we go there every Sunday before church. Their food is always top-notch no issues with our drinks either. Disappointing, that we have to drive 20 minutes if we want a good PJs coffee experience.

I read the older reviews before posting mine. Most of the complaints were laughable or seriously biased. I’ve been to almost every coffee shop in Mobile. Yellow Hammer, Coffee Monster, both coffee places on Old Shell, Serda, and the major franchises. PJs is exclusive to Louisiana, South Miss, and Mobile. They have less than 30 locations. Maybe under 20. They so used single origin beans. All their beans are fair trade. (Refuting complaints by others). When you go to a newly opened coffee shop ran by college aged kids there will be hiccups. People are harsh and idiotic. Sad to see the one and two star reviews posted from back when they opened.That being said they are better than Yellow Hammer by a mile which ranks them above the major coffee franchises. They are better than the two niche mid town coffee shops (forgot their names). They aren’t better than Coffee Monster. Their cold brew is some of the best I’ve tasted and it’s relative cheap for what you are getting. I understand being a homeboy and supporting small business but this franchise is owned by a Mobile family. Yellow Hammer does not correctly roast their beans. They are acidic and bitter. The last time I went to yellow hammer I was given old expresso which ruined the drink I had them make. I now exclusively get coffee from Coffee Monster and Pj’s.

I don't drink coffee, so I can't give an opinion on that. However, I made a quick stop by this location because I saw a sign on the front that advertised beignets.First of all, the service was quick. The beignets were hot, fresh and yummy. Unlike traditional beignets, these decadent little pillows were more like small fried croissants. They were good-sized and doused in lots of powdered sugar. I didn't try any of the dipping syrups, so I have an excuse to drop by again and get some more.If you're looking for beignets like they serve at Cafe Du Monde, this isn't the place for you. But, if you're looking for a delicious sweet treat that isn't the usual fare, give them a try!
