Great store and the paint associate was very helpful! Excellent selection of home goods and building supplies. Also, right now they have really good Halloween decorations available. It would be a better store if the restroom was in the front, but at least it was clean so that is appreciated!

I purchased a refrigerator from Lowe's, when it was delivered I informed the two delivery men that the old refrigerator was going to be used by a family in need. The delivery men destroyed the old refrigerator preventing anyone from using it.I addition they dented my new refrigerator, I notified Lowe's and was offered the option of buying a new refrigerator, they would deliver the new refrigerator once they received it and would refund the purchase price of the first (damaged) item. This would cost me an additional $330 as the item in no longer on sale. OR they would pick up the new refrigerator and I would simply have no refrigerator for 10-14 days. Since their delivery service damaged the original item I informed them that neither option was acceptable and was told to call back once I made a decision.

I arrived to the store to pick up a pressure washer and I was introduced to Edgar (or a name similar) as the other representative was “off the clock” and leaving for the day. Edgar was extremely helpful throughout my time there as in answering questions, providing insight and helping load the item as it was on the top shelf. This man simply amazed me as he genuinely cared about the tasks that he was assigned to do.I ended up leaving the store with much more than a pressure washer that day and more importantly a refreshed faith that customer service still exists. Ps. Edgar the GreenWorks pressure washer runs amazing and the axe you recommended is top notch 👌. I will be back soon!

I am standing at the Paint department for half an hour already and nobody shows up to take care of my choice of paint. The girls at the checkout said they have called for assistance but nobody came. That's a horrible service. I could have gone to another place if they have no one to assist us at this department and just would say so.

Absolutely the worst store. I did an online order and waited an hour to have it brought out, even though I was given notice it was ready and I notified them I was on the way. I tried a second time to see if it was any better and waited 45 minutes. I finally went inside to get it myself and they said that the order was in a part of the store that was closed even though the garden center with more mulch was open til 10 pm. Everyone just standing around and not concerned at all. Absolutely unacceptable.

Great products. However, the manager will not take care of you and they have some smart mouth young individuals at Customer Service that won’t take care of you either. I had an issue and neither the manager nor the customer service could take care of it. They will just pass the book because they don’t know what they’re doing and they don’t care either way. If you buy something, make sure that you have a warranty and a receipt because they will not honor every product that they sell and that’s a fact.

Bought a refrigerator on March 16, 2024 to be delivered on Sunday March 23 it was not delivered. They said they tried to call before delivery, they did not. Rescheduled for Tuesday the 25th, no delivery. Here we sit with no new refrigerator. When we try to call we get the runaround and can’t reach a human to talk to! FRUSTRATED is not the word. And they want to charge a delivery fee & a haul away fee!?! I’m done with these people!!!

Showed up at the store late in the day on a Friday on the 2nd day of Feb. looking for play sand we saw online on sale. Hubby asked an associate named Jared (I hope since that is what we were calling him) for help, told him what we were looking for and they left me sitting in the patio furniture while they went to hunt it down.Well, it wasn't where Jared had expected it to be, but he did not give up until he and one of the managers were able to locate a pallet of the sand AND he loaded 30 bags of it into the back of the truck for us.I have had over and beyond service before, but it is usually in a tipping situation. Jared could have very easily said they were out of stock or something similar, but he didn't. He even apologized it was taking so long when I know we were taking him away from his regular tasks and was friendly all the way up to when we drove off.Much praise for Jared. He made my day and made all the work we need to do this weekend possible.

Terrible! I have been trying to reach someone for an hour! I have spoken with one female who was not helpful whatsoever. We have taken off work for a scheduled appliance delivery. No one informed us that our delivery changed. Now we are living out of an ice chest for an additional 5 days (that's if they deliver as planned this time)! After calling a countless number of times with someone continuously picking up the phone and immediately hanging up, I finally reached someone in appliances who was very kind and helpful. However.... still disappointing that we have no refrigerator, which was already a few weeks out for delivery any way, then delayed past the date it was supposed to be installed. Wish we would have had a heads up, at minimum.

Great place to go when looking for inspiration and when you actually need stuff for projects or repair or storage. Hard to find anyone for assistance in some areas. Other areas there were people right there and willing to help. The store is filthy though and makes me not want to shop here. I do not see what the problem is with dusting or running a mop in a home improvement store. This place used to be so clean. Love to go to the garden center.

I do not know why I waste my time going to the store. The customer service is the worst in Mobile, I don’t even go at busy times, it’s usually around 9 o’clock in the morning and the associates are too busy to help. Their price tags must be false advertisement or not up to date, so when you ask why something did not ring up correctly, you get a lot of sass and attitude at the register. The Schillinger store is much better. Like these two items rang up for $14.95 and $19.95. I hate being that person, but the only reason you grab these items on the end caps is because they are on sale or they are a good deal. Otherwise I would just get the bigger set. I have never liked my experience here, this isn’t the first time something like this has happened.

Had the appliances we wanted this go round, and 70% of the time they carry mower parts or tools I need. And don't trust the online inventory from their website.Downside, if you break a tool nowadays, they often don't have an exact replacement. So you are stuck paying more to make up the balance for a "newer model". Which is dumb to have to pay for a tool with exactly the same specs, but it has a different part number.

This is the worst store in mobile, go to west mobile or tillmans corner.This store has 0 help for anyone. You can't even get a cart. This isn't a one time visit. Unfortunately I go here often because it's close to the jobs and the company doesn't want us driving across town. I dread it everytime.Save your self some gas. They prabrobly don't have what you need anyway.

I called this lowes to make sure they had 18/8 wire in stock only to drive and hour and a half to get here and deal with a very rude female employee who let me know that they have been out of stock for awhile. I usually don’t use Home Depot but that may be where I start taking my business

Ordered custom wooden windows. Sizes and installation estimate horrible. They were re measured and ordered on three separate occasions took 8 months and the Lowe’s Installers would not complete the job. As to hire independent contractors and Lowes refusing to compensate.

Floor staff, when present at all, seem to run away from customers to avoid giving assistance. The Velspar representative rudely ignored me after attempting to shut off the assistance call button. The other paint Dept associate also refused to acknowledge my presence until at least 10 minutes later, asking me what did I want.After spending over $200, I was not 5 feet from the register before I was specially selected to have my receipt checked, as if they didn't just witness me paying. Profiled while wearing a Howard University shirt at that! SMHOverall, I wasted two hours trying to locate what I could have got in 20 minutes if the assistance of any sales staff was available.Nothing's changed... Employees run from you and you have to rely on other customers for help.

I wouldn’t give this place 1 star, but no choice for 0. worst, most unprofessional bunch of rejects youve ever met in your life. One of your employees tried to start a fist-fight over me walking through the roll up door in contractor sales. I told the manager, but she couldn’t have cared less. Everyone in this store spends more time avoiding work than trying to help customers. AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS. YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!!!Edit: I’ve noticed the main complaint is rude, unhelpful cashiers. It’s been that way for years, but Lowe’s doesn’t seem to care enough to respond or do anything about it. I’ve also noticed y’all respond to positive reviews, but not the negative. I’m a contractor and tried getting help this morning to return a tat roofing material for correct product. Employees were so rude I loaded item back up and went to Home Depot. This location needs HELP.

We bought a Whirlpool washing machine, and a Frigidaire refrigerator. The young gentleman that helped us answered our questions and was very knowledgeable. He checked us out efficiently and quickly. We saved $150. We were very pleased with their customer service and their delivery people.

I used to love this place but there are seldom any cashiers and you are almost always forced to use the self-checkout. Of course, today the screen locks up with around ten other customers behind me. I push the button for assistance and instead of someone helping me with the locked up screen, they open up two registers. I waited almost 10 minutes for help to fix it.Open more registers all of the time and have the self-check there for people who want the convenience of on-the-job training.No change

Lowe's is always a great place to shop. Lowes is very good to Veteran's who receive a discount every day on everything.I hope veteran's do not abuse this gift by giving your info to people who do not qualify or have not registered with Lowe's as a veteran, or do not have veteran ID because it makes things worse for veteran's who follow the rules and register, or have proper ID.We were made to show ID, qualification, and go through a "goat rope" because some of you were abusing the gift of Veteran discount. I hate that. Why should I be penalized because someone gave their info to some relative or friend who should not be using the discount? So, if you did that, Shame on you! Stop it!! And now. Do not cause all veterans to suffer because of your poor judgment. Lowes is a great place to shop and treat veteran's with respect. Therefore, the privilege of veteran discount should be respected.

The bariatric slovenly witch who works the return counter (she is supposedly the supervisor for that department) is extremely rude and unhelpful. She treated me (former Federal LEO and current security professional) like I was a crook for wanting to get cash when returning an Skil saw that I no longer needed (got a better one for my birthday). I didn’t know it had be bought using a credit card by my wife.Extremely rude. I observed her huffing and puffing at customers, and acting like a total witch to several others in front of me. For this and for the fact that she has not been relieved of her role. I wont be back at the 65 location. I’ll probably go to a competitor the next time I need to visit the hardware store. Treating an elderly lady like dirt was the reason I decided to post. I’ll be calling the regional manager for Lowe’s in Mobile tomorrow. I worked with his wife.
