Maybe the coolest grocery store ever. Loved the deli and the burger they made that we out outside on the deck. I enjoyed it and will be back.Came back on April 12,2024 and got the Stl Burger. It was peak dinner time and they were packed. The kitchen staff was doing all they could to make people happy and get the food out! They really worked as hard as they could.The band “Noon Day drivers” was awesome too!

Wow. This Greer’s is nice!!! I wish ours would be as nice as this! The products they sell too …. Wow 🤩 They even had coffee shop that serves beef on tap!

I appreciate the location however they charge Whole Foods or Fresh Market prices for Dollar General products. The atmosphere and how they display their inventory is what I would call ‘a sexy Whole Foods.’ Unfortunately, the quality does not always match the prices. With that being said, I’m new to the area and I’m sure that this blue-collar town is a Dollar General type brand consumer so it does fine here.

Great new place on St. Louis street in Mobile. This new concept from Greer’s is amazing. The grocery has everything you need. The meat department has a wonderful variety of steaks for you to grill at home an impress your friends and family.We ordered lunch in the deli and had the special hamburger that is in competition with 20 restaurants in town for the best burger in Mobile. Gouda cheese with bacon topped with blueberry dressing was amazing.Great dining area with picnic tables and roll up doors. Six big screen TV’s for your Saturday afternoon football game fix. There is also a great rooftop seating area.Don’t miss this great new place in Mobile!

Came for a private rooftop party and was received with tremendous hospitality and service throughout the event. Also, I think I found a new go to market to shop for all of my gourmet items. A wonderful experience all around…

We went into this place just to grab a couple of things, and didn't realize what an excellent store this has become. It reminds you of a whole foods store or something else that's really done up well and has lots of deli type sandwiches you can buy and also lots of wine and alcohol selections fresh from their bar. Great shopping experience in everyone was very very friendly. The guy checking us out his name was Jay and he was super friendly and helped us find everything we needed.

My favorite section is pastry and coffee counter. The store has an old world ambiance with a coffee grinding machine and a great deal of attention to personal service. Great buffet. But it comes at a price so bulk groceries and staples might be best shopped for elsewhere with this as a fill-in and just nice place to visit!

What a nice little food oasis in the middle of downtown Mobile grocery desert. Excellent selection of fresh food, vegetables, staples, deli and more. Oh and don’t forget the beer and ice cream! Extremely helpful staff, clean, clean, clean! I was also pleasantly surprised to find their prices were reasonable for a downtown location. Please support this local business!

I am SO excited that Greer's opened this location. A fantastic addition to the up-and-coming downtown neighborhoods. Great selection of groceries, wines, and produce. Hot bar and salad bar, topped off by a rooftop deck to enjoy a drink with friends.

Catfish is delicious! I don't typically like catfish but theirs was amazing. All their food was good! Also, the lady who works at the ice cream/beer section is so sweet and friendly. Bubble gum ice cream was different but tasty.

The food is fresh and available, and the staff are very helpful. There is a decent assortment of food by the pound including salads and meats; they also have pre-made sandwiches. The fresh food is reasonable priced. I would definitely go back there again.

This is the PERFECT little grocery for the heart of LoDa. The times are great. The staff was polite and welcoming. And prices are on par with Publix at midtown with a few options I've not seen elsewhere in town. Looking forward to visiting here when in the LoDa area.Ps The coffee shop and mini bakery is bomb!

The store has good products, especially the prepared food but it's quite a bit pricey and I believe that is by design to keep people of color uninterested in shopping there. Now, don't get me wrong, some people of color do shop there but I shop there often and I don't see many.

The Store is kept clean, especially in the entrance way. I visit this location for their variety of soup’s; it’s never the same every day. The soups are made from scratch, and are flavorful. The pleasant aroma from the coffee bar will fixate you as well. This is where you want to shop, on a rainy day. They have upgraded to: Self-checkout.😁

I love Greers Downtown! Its next door to my office and very convenient. They have great burgers and daily lunch specials! Greers carries just about everything your palette desires. Their jalapeno cheese bread is the best around!!!

It’s a good thing this market was incredibly busy on a late afternoon during the week because then I could understand the level of service I encountered. Ha ha no just kidding the place was empty. I had heard that this was a really cute place to stop and get a made-to-order sandwich and a drink to enjoy on the rooftop patio. It was my first time. Made my way back to the deli section and hovered around the counter trying to make eye contact with at least one of four people behind the counters. No such luck. Finally I had to interrupt a casual conversation between two of them and was made to feel just like that. What a bother I was as a customer! I asked “do you make sandwiches to order?” The curt and decidedly unfriendly answer was “no, just what’s in the display.” So I resigned myself to trying some of the prepared foods. When I was paying I saw the sign posted below and the very friendly cashier told me that they do in fact make sandwiches to order. She even offered to make me a sandwich and put back the selection I had just made. No thank you, I commented. If she was the representation of the quality of service then I would definitely be back. But I think the woman I first encountered was one of the managers so I expect that the cashier was an exception. No need to go back for that kind of unwelcome experience. (The food wasn’t great but I would have gone back to try more things.)

This is a grocery store, very similar to a neighborhood Walmart, but upscale. It is WONDERFUL! IT HAS A DELI. Fresh meats, also prepared foods. It has a section tor meetings, a large rooftop gathering spot.

They have an excellent selection of wine. In addition they have a half dozen draft beers. Grab a beer or a glass of wine along something to eat and head up to the roof. It's a nice experience.

🤔 Most impressive. The baskets even have a holder for your drink.. A wonderful addition to downtown Mobile. A bit pricey, but it's a niche store so that's to be expected.

My first time at Greers St Louis Street was for Mobtown Burger Week. I had heard nothing but rave reviews. I was not disappointed. As I made my way to the back grill, I passed amazing looking desserts. The deals on Champagne!!! Coming back for that. I ordered the Specialty burger. They were busy, but the wait was reasonable given the crowd. The cashier and staff - friendly and helpful. Burger delivered. Thé bleu cheese and blueberry complimented each other. Bacon was cooked to perfection. The garlic mayo worked. There were several flavors that all worked together to create a complex experience that was fantastic. I would have liked the burger to be just a smidge larger. My bun dwarfed the burger. My fav burger of Mobtown Burger week so far. Can’t wait to visit Greer’s again.

I love hanging at Greer’s Market. I can get a glass of wine or beer, some snacks from deli and ice cream for my son. Rooftop is a nice place to listen to live music while enjoying sushi or wings. Love the concept.

The food court here is exceptional. Super clean store in a great location. It doesn't feel like a chore shopping here, but it feels more like an experience.
