I use to LOVE this store especially the hot bar, not anymore. The store is clean but I guess it depends on when you go the shelves and freezer items aren't always stocked well. I would faithfully go to the hot bar and get baked chicken, loaded baked potatoes, broccoli and cheese casserole and the fried fish and lets not forget the wonderful bread pudding, but now they close too early and overcharge the entire bar. 2 baked legs and 1 baked thigh was 7.70. When the bar is closed down and remaining food is placed on the warming carousel the same chicken is 2.20. A whole rotisserie chicken is 4.50. This makes no sense.

If i could give less than one star I would when attempting to shop before entering the store I asked if they was closed the gaurd at the door decided not to answer me and closed the door in my face pretending as if she couldn't hear me. Cool, yall got enough money to trun a paying customer away, and I found out they had an additional 30min before closing time.

The prices were amazing, don't get me wrong.. But I also picked up quite a few feathered chickens that I have to pluck & freezer burnt/frost items (veggies & fries).. I put them in zip lock bags as I was separating & breaking the ice. But damn I guess you have to work for your bargains these days.. 😭😅 Overall, it was cool 😎

Great prices and they have a big selection. The store was very clean and the cashier was very nice and helped us fill a cooler with ice.

My go-to place for groceries. I always order online, they bring my groceries to me. I save more money shopping here. I can fill my fridge, freezer, cupboards, and pantry with plenty of stuff. I commend their employees, because I but tons of stuff, and they are always pleasant. I like that there are no buggies all over the parking lot, unlike the ghetto Walmart.

I like the Ace hardware in the middle of the grocery store. Good for a quick stop on what you need. As far as stocking up on groceries, they want you to check yourself out here. Almost every time I get groceries they want to force me through self checkout. I'll stock up here when someone will ring me up and do their job. People still want service you know!

Let me figure out how to go about getting you a refund for the 12 pc chicken most of the time one has to come to the store to get the refund. This place is okay the fast department the food is high. They change $12.95 for 8 pieces of chicken that have been sitting under the warmer with the Time on the package. The Staff is limited you have to check yourself out most of the time.

Prices were better than Walmart and the cashier was pleasant. However, you have to really check the dates because out of date items were left on the shelves. The store was not very clean and condensation from a barely operating air conditioner was on everything.

The store is well organized and clean. It's not crowded, so checking out didn't take a long time. They have a section where you can buy a meal at a reasonable price. Every thing in the meat section looks really nice and fresh,but the produce is a bit pricey.

I've gone to this location a few times when on visits to Mobile. The place is well-lighted, and it offers a good selection of items I'm interested in. Parking has been easy when I've gone. Also, the market hasn't been overly crowded.

Greer's Cash Saver was know only as Greer's Food store. I work for them in 1978 & 1979. As a stock clerk. That store is on longer there. But Greer's has improved and keep up to date with technology and style. Their Diley has lunch bar . The fresh work food are my Grandma's and Mother's Country cook. Now that we are in 2022. The prices have gone up. But they are reason.

This Greer's is one of the nicest cost plus groceries I have been to. It's clean and fresh. It is well stocked with a good selection of wines and beers. The deli has a salad bar as well as the normal fare of the average American family. As for the atmosphere, it borders on the side of upscale stores but it is your friendly neighborhood market; it is well suited to a diverse clientele. I did find the prices varied from quite reasonable to a bit high but for convenience and variety's sake it's can be worth shopping there.

I shop there all the time, and always have a great experience. But I saw something today that bothered me. I don't eat in the deli, but I saw the employee that was working back there talking with another employee and he had his sock in his hand and it was dirty and so was his feet. I dont know if he washed his hands afterwards, but I will never eat from that deli, ever!

This location has done a one-eighty and I love it.Just recently I started making this location due to the helpfulness of its employees. Yes they are slightly higher but I do not have to deal with long lines and get to see smiling faces with excellent customer service.

I’ve shopped the Greer’s on Dauphin St since it opened. At first, it was fine. Since October, I have found 3 different items that were out of date. The entire selection of one brand of butter was 2 months out of date. I took one package to the manager. He asked why I didn’t bring all of the packages to him. In January, I found the bags of trail mix had expired in November. I told the manager on duty about them. As of 5pm today, they are still on the shelf. Several times I have bought frozen foods and have gotten home to find that the items had defrosted at some point & were refrozen. Needless to say, they were inedible. I have returned some of products & they were very kind & returned my money. Today, all but 3 of their fresh baked French bread loaves from the deli were expired. One loaf even was beginning to mold. I would rather shop local businesses but I give up. It’s Walmart or Rouses from now on.
