They’ve improved over th years. I make my judgement by the fresh items. When they first opened you’d have to use it immediately now they last longer and better flavor. The meat producers are good also but not my first choice but I would buy this item from then where as a lot of places I would not purchase

Decent selection and friendly employees, but the deli leaves much to be desired. They hide in the back and ignore customers.The ladies in the deli also don't listen, and regularly get details wrong.Would be 5 stars if not for the horrible deli

They have hot dinners there for lunch, if you get there around 400 430 they have them marked down, and makes for a good dinner when you get home, good mark down prices. GOTTA TRY THE PORK CHOPS, MMmm GOOD

Melissa the manager was awesome. I loved her Purple Rain mask she was wearing. Though, most of the stuff I was looking for they were out. Yet, her beauty and humor made me a fan of the store. I will come back if she is there.

Nice store. It's good for quick trip items as well as full grocery shopping. The prices are a little more expensive then big box stores. They have an awesome hot food Deli. They ladies there are always helpful and are good cooks. I've eaten there several times and haven't been disappointed.

The employees at this grocery store are all very sweet and helpful. Also, the store has a good selection of items. The only thing is that it is an older store, so it could use a remodel or update. The produce section doesn't have as much fresh veggies as some other grocery stores in our area, but overall I can usually find what I need for most recipes. They do have a deli area with hot meals, and the food is good. However,the bakery items are not baked in the store. You can't order a cake or anything (they have frozen cakes). They do keep the store clean and well stocked,though.

Great customer service. The employees work very hard at keeping the store clean and it's convenient when you don't have the time to make a run to that "Big Box" store in Tillman's Corner. Thanks to all of the employees for being so pleasant.

I go here everyday the manager there is nice. The slim black male I don't know his name but he's polite. And I think another female manage Catherine she very nice.

I like it because it is close to home and can get items right away if I run out. Most of the cashiers are friendly and helpful. The down side is it is small and has a small selection so I have to go to other stores who carry items I need for my health needs.

This location is close to home, always seems to be safe, parking lot is clean and ample handicap spaces etc. Want to add, the staff at Food Champs are some of the most helpful I've seen in a long while. Every one of them have been very nice. When I need something they are ready and willing. Thank you all.

The store had a horrible odor and they never have what I’m looking for. My card doesn’t swipe so I chose not to bring it along and they made it seem like it was a big deal by entering my card number.(which I know by heart). The so called MANAGER said rudely can’t you go get it. I told her no. I came out my way to this particular store but I no longer will be shopping here👎

Love this grocery store! My parents live in Mobile and shop at Food Champs often. We moved down here a year ago and this is our go to grocery store. Great prices, you can find things here you can't find at other stores, everyone is really nice, store is very clean, the deli is great and (did I already say this) the prices are really really good. When they have a sale they have a sale! $0.98 for raspberries, blueberries, strawberries. Who does that anymore? Food Champs is definitely our neighborhood go to grocery store.

It's got some good deals on marked down meat for your pup, if you time it right. You can find some decent products, and the neighborhood vibe is nice- I love the cashiers.

Not only does their deli have an amazing breakfast and lunch, but the employees are so kind. They always remember a returning face! They helped me by giving me boxes to move, and really take care of the community on Dauphin Island Parkway.

Quirky, friendly grocery store. All the prices on the shelf (if you can find them) are untrue - - they're increased by 10% at the cash register. Many paper signs hang indicating a lower price... Although in my experience not very accurately. This is not a beautiful, gleaming modern supermarket like Publix, Rouses or Winn-Dixie. This is old-school in comparison.Prices and quality are better than the nearby Piggly Wiggly (which also bumps up prices by 10% at the cash) IMHO, and it's larger.Don't expect imported cheeses and exotic vegetables (even cauliflower, so exotic, is $5-6 a head), this store caters to the local clientele and budget-minded.It's my daily shop for inexpensive staples. Generally lower in price than full-service supermarkets, the big players almost always beat FC on their weekly circulars.Except catfish. $1.18 a pound? I buy some every week.

Fair prices but I cannot ever rely on them to have what I need. Freezer rarely works. Only shop here when I have to. I suggest taking the time to go to Walmart in Tillman’s Corner.

The secret to this store is the hot home cooked meals from the deli. A whole dinner plate including meat two sides and bread for $4.99. Best home cooked dinner in town for that price!

This is the best breakfast value in Mobile. For $3.27, you can get grits, meat, hash brown, eggs, and a biscuit. The food is actually pretty good.

Just like any other grocery store. It's a cost plus 10% store. Aesthetically, it's a bit outdated and old looking but doesnt change the fact that it's just a grocery store. Most of the people that work there are pretty nice.

I used this store for months after moving here.....very good prices.....all though the skinny Black night manager is rude and along with his cashiers......after I was treated very rude by this manager and cashier....I told both of them I would never shop there angain.....haven't steped foot in there again......I live 1 mile from store on DIP and even though I drive farther and pay higher prices....I get treated with courtesy and respect ......if you like rude and disrespectful store employees this is the store for you......myself I'd rather drive across town than step foot in this store....

This is a discount store. They are a Cost Plus 10% I would say that perhaps their produce are actually items passed down from more upscale stores because they are old and cannot sell it better stores.
